We went to Chennai Silks to buy dresses for Onam, but unfortunately, we couldn't find a good selection of Pattu Pavada dresses in the store. So, had to leave without buying anything except some kids night dress and went to another shop to make our purchase. Some of the floors stink for some reason. If you are taking the Metro it is super accessible.

We bought their brand Kanmani saree.it had 2 blouse piece. The blouse material is not even 1mtr. All the saree is overpriced.we trusted and didnt measure the blouse.

Collections has reduced these days.there was very little to choose from.and why does the entire building has bad smell? It is awkward especially the 5th floor

1. Pathetic collection just like in Chennai. They should understand that it's Kerala and people here have different taste. It has ONLY Tamilnadu collection. It's disheartening to know they have this shop in prime area.
2. Poor entry staff. They have all staff imported from TN as if there are no human beings in Kerala. It's just you have entered TN. Please visit other big shops like Kalyan or Jayalakshmi etc to understand the better uniform color and other things when it comes to staff.
3. Building not clean

1. Staff are good at heart. They really a proper guidance on grooming and body odor.

Overall am disappointed.
And 3 star is just for the sales person.

I went to The Chennai SIlks, Ernakulam, this evening. I was looking for traditional attire for a baby girl. In no time I found what I wanted. The staff was most helpful. They have a wide range of dresses to choose from. The qyality of the materials was very good. And I got value for money. They have a good stock of traditional pavadai-blouse types of dresses as well as practical clothes. The sarees were good too. The checkout was easy. This being the Deepotsavam time - Karthigai Deepam was yesterday, December 6th - the entrance of the shop had beautifully lit lamps which was a feast to eye and a joy to the spirit. Customers can avail of a privilege card which they can use in any of The Chennai Silks outlets in the country. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Yes they have big shop, Yes they have line of attendents, Yes their name has silk, but beware they fool you. We bought a Saree for 3K and while selling they had all the appreciation for Saree. When we came home we found it defective. Now what happen next will surprise you, when we went to exchange they said you will only get these type of defective Saree. All appreciation gone in air.

I visited this shop first time during a rainy night. Experience starts from the entrance. A security guy handed over the wet umbrella and packed in a long polythene cover and sealed it. Then gave back to me. Next staffs directed me to the floor I want to visit. Most of items are available here in various prices. Sure, I will revisit here.

Very good shop. Have been visiting it occasionally. Staffs are very helping and the dress varieties was good.

There are good sarees but the staff is neither welcoming nor they show the new stock or new things that comes. They start asking the customer itself what they are looking for.
The customer get upset due the this regular questioning. They don’t know how to sell a product. Only having a brand is not enough. The staff should try to know the choices and show the things relevant to it.

All stock is Tamil Nadu style, full swing shop with ample space & Facilities but for quite some time not seen much customers over there whenever i visited. Really wonder how its withstanding Kochi Operations

Had a good experience at Chennai silks. There is something for everyone. Prices are very reasonable and sales staff are quite friendly. We had to wait for sometime to find someone to help us but yet we were quite satisfied with the service and were able to select a dress in a very short span of time.

I had a great experience with this store. The staffs are very polite. I would go for a special mention on Mr Manu in Men's section. They are doing an amazing job on helping to find the right selection of clothes.

Had a very bad shopping experience.i won't recommend this shop for anyone. Staff from the ready-made blouse section was not good. Exchanging something taken from there is very much time killing.

The Chennai silks opened in Kochi in 2010. They have survived 9 years itself is a big achievement for them. Since we have seen the fate of Emmanuel silks who opened their showroom with none other than SRK. But had to shut their shop within months.

One of the best shop for silk materials in Cochin city. Wide range of materials and ready made garments are here. Prices are reasonable. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Chennai Silks shop is beside the MG Road metro station. There is an entrance directly from the metro station to Chennai Silks: a special advantage.

Clear existing points qtrly or some thing like that. No one knows to explain. Poor admin. Flop customer bonus point cards. They are not able to explain balance.

We used the tailoring services here and were VERY DISAPPOINTED. Not only did it take very long to do the tailoring, but it also was done poorly. We waited for almost 5 hours in the store as they made corrections that weren’t fully what we asked for, trying on the outfits over and over again and telling them how to fix it. In the end, they discolored the front part of our brand new outfit and it was not adequately fitted in the back. Do NOT take your clothing here to get tailored. The final result was still not what we desired though, and they need to learn how to listen to their customers and perform higher quality work.

Had to exchange an item, had to wait an hour for it, salesmen are rude but managers were good. Misguiding salesmen and poor quality clothes. I won't recommend Chennai silks. It will be a headache to exchange an item.

The entry from Kochi metro directly to the shop is a good attraction. One of the most spacious own parking space available in the city. Hassle free shopping.

Main attraction to this place reachability in heavy traffic in ernakulam town metro is a blessing, chennai silks entrance is besides mg road metro hence it is easy to purchase without worrying about traffic. Good selection. Wide range of products. Pricing is a bit to the higher end. As you can get the same products at a cheaper price if you know where to go. But then you will be hoping shops for each tiny dress material to get it cheaper. The advantage here is that you get it all under one roof. Very well placed near the mg road metro station. They have a good spacious building to showcase their wide range of collections across ladies, gents and kids ware. Ideal for wedding shopping, have enough sitting spaces and yes they do provide with coffee for light refreshment if you have decided to shop till you drop. All together a good shopping experience.
