An average hotel. Rooms can be improved, Good part is that it is accessible from Mg road and also very near to both the Ernakulam railway stations and Hight court water metro station.

Extremely disappointed with the stay at Ginger, MG road, Kochi.
The rooms were below average and the breakfast was really sad. Actually heard a lot of this property, but honestly, really sorry to say this. I will never ever come back here or will not ask anyone to even try this property.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The staff customer service isnt very great. Had requested for a bottle of water to the room. I also needed to borrow a scissors quickly for something urgent and I mentioned that I will give it back to them soon. Both the times, they ask for the room number and never send anything upstairs.
The room is decent, however the bathrooms are not sparkling clean. It isnt maintained well.
Food is okay, there arent any options. On the third day of my stay, the breakfast buffet was served at 8.05 am. This timing is super late considering it to be a 4 star hotel. While most of the hotels start their breakfast at 7 am.
The hotel needs to up the standard and service!

Excellent Service. Rooms are good and clean this is the third time am preferring hotel in the last 20 days. One Mr Ashwanth, Front office Manager, Excellent Guy, reallly liked.needs to mention. Asset for the company.first visit iwas not happy becaus of some small small issueds, but the way he handled make my thought positive and I booked again and and again

Nice hotel good rooms. Lot of security checks even visitors has to provide id proofs. Under the new management room rates are increased slightly

Hotel reception is beautiful, but the rooms are dusty and the buffet option is less. The restaurant staff should know about the prices of breakfast and all. The swimming pool is dirty not hygiene.

Literally felt so excited when I saw the entrance but the hotel itself is located somwhere off the main city (which is not a problem actually). The rooms where great enough to feel comfortable with peers.

Very nice hotel at heart of Cochin in MG Road. They also had a very good breakfast buffet spread at very economical rates.

This review is about the restaurant. Food was delicious. Kerla style fish curry was too good to resist.
Veg items were also very tasty.
Icecream was melted completely (Almost like shake)
However overall experience was very muach satisfying

Nice hotel for a quick stay. If you are planning for a wedding near Gangotri Kalayana Mandapam then definitely opt for this place.

A Decade ago it would have been a great hotel;they have tried to preserve it by not cleaning floors and side walls. Even the falls ceiling had cracks and bend and was like it would fall on top of us. Bed sheets were ugliest. The good part was as soon as I went and complained about the same a supervisor came for inspection of our 3 rooms on the 2nd floor and changed it to relatively better rooms on the 6th floor. Even though rooms were better it had renovation noise keep popping up now and then and frequently power went off. In my experience it was the worst experience that I had in last half a decade. It's a must "don't go experience". If anyone want to have a better stay pls choose any other place.

Staff were pleasent, food quality and taste was good but room experience was not good overall (floor was filthy, only one piece of towel was provided for 4 pax, no bath mat provided, AC control was not working, informed reception to assist to connect TV but no one showed up etc)

The hotel is perfectly located near to MG Road (around 50 mtrs from the main road). The hotel room were not properly maintained. The buffet breakfast was okay. It had a functional swimming pool with 3 ft height. Service was good.

We had used their banquet hall for our baby's 1st Birthday. Very good service, Good food with a wide variety to choose from their buffet all at an economical rate. Staff was friendly and assisted as per our requirements. Neat and clean halls and washrooms. Altogether a good experience.

The food was was very decent and good, and the stay was pleasent. There is just one problem that the plugs and switches are at back of the bed which makes it uncomfortable to sleep and leaving that everything was very good.

We had just come into this hotel for a school trip and stayed for 2 days but the experience of living is very good and food and hospitality were good too

Very nice Residential place with Restaurant, gym & swimming pool at the core of the city having 4 star rating.
No Bar is within the Hotel.

1. Front desk is welcoming and cooperative.
2. Food is good but not as per the level of 4* property.
3. Rooms need a lot of improvement.
-Lighting needs to be fixed.
-Bathroom floor needs repair as water gets logged.
-Plumbing work is required.
-There should be floor towel as it's slippery coming out of washroom with wet foot and makes the whole room wet.

Located in a busy area, parking is adjustable.
Event arrangements are just okay!
They have a swimming pool in 8th floor.
Their food is average. And the Tea served is such a waste one and the sandwich too.
Lighting are not so good in event hall.
Totally just an average experience.

Staff is very adamant, non cooperative, very blunt in words. Rooms are filthy, bathroom chocked. We had the booking in hotel, due to flight delay, we reached the hotel @ 10. Even the staff didnt coordinate when would we reach, even didnt showed concern about our dinner and bluntly said - Restaurant is closed. We had to insist as two kids were along with us, they brought rotten salad and non butter rotis and hotel last lefted DAAL and Mix Veg. Not doing from heart, staff not looking happy to serve us. We will never visit such hotel in life.

We stayed in room 308. It was stinking of cigarette smoke. The bathroom structure is very odd and there is no tap just the shower / hand shower. We did not like our accommodation. However the food that was served in the buffet was good.

Staff was very rude, they only mind their own business have don't care attitude, do not recommended you will find good hotel with cheaper price on the same locality and food was not that good,

The place like my review is a 4* hotel, it is nice they have a pool, gym/health club, ayurvedic spa etc. The conference rooms are great. Rooms are nice toilets are clean. They have great room service also laundry is available.

Nice food, great service, parking was ok, good enough space for two, price was fair, small fridge was handy, but totally disappointed as there is strong moisture or mold smell in the hallway and room. For a 4star hotel they should fix the issues before giving out to customers.

Nice and reasonable stay in the heart of cochin. Good and jovial staff. They do have conference halls as well. The buffet lunch and dinner here is outstanding

But the rooms are old. Ceiling is too low, making the room stuffy.

The property is good for corporates but not for vacations or family. It's within city so major sighseeings are nearby. But besides hotel rooms there hospitality is amazing specially the manager hari shankar who advised us soo well for our cochin sighseeing schedule.

Worst place ever. Bad bad bad rooms. Dirty, smelly, untidy rooms. Bathroom is even worse. To top it off is the arrogant and insulting staff. I got irritated and annoyed with the staff. Even floors are dirty and smelly. Don't even go here for anything. Worst ever in Kochi.

The experience was extremely pathetic. The service by the hotel staff was the worst. Cutlery provided in the hotel was too bad. The hotel staff was unhygienic. They were too smelly and arrogant. Even after complaining multiple times they didn't care at all. It didn't seem like a 4 star hotels all. Their hotel standards we're so low that they didn't care at all.

A wonderful hotel with all the amenities that you might enjoy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its located in the heart of the Ernakulam city, so its mostly close to almost all the important places.

Hotel is located in an inner space of ernakulam city, but though the place is convenient for business meetings and functions. Parking will be tickled as an major problem here, even the road to hotel is narrow.

It's a family friendly restaurant/cafe/bakery and has a variety of options for their packed snacks area too. I've continuously ordered their grilled chicken sandwich and m'n'm cookies (crispy) for almost 7-8 years and I can vouch for their consistency in recipes. They have a very helpful group of staff. They also have good offers especially during holidays or special occasions.

Sorry to say that I'm really disappointed by the quality of black forest cake that I bought from you. I have been a genuine customer of your outlet but I don't think I will prefer your store ever again. I had pre ordered the cake and especially mentioned that I didn't want much cream on it. But there was a lot of cream and the cake was super dry. There was very little sugar syrup in it.

I was with my 8 months old son in my car and he was crying loud, he wanted some water. I saw bread world and thought of buying a bottle of water. I stepped in and asked the guy on the counter "how much is this bottle of water? ", he didn't respond, I asked the same question again, no response. I asked him at least 7 times.so many times that the next customer also asked for the price, on my behalf. Even then this guy didn't respond. He seemed so indifferent and lost that I had to tell him that there is an infant in the car who is in urgent need of water, that's when this guy budged. Extremely bad customer service from your staff. This incident happened on 16 sep 2021, at around 7: 30 pm. If the management comes across this review, then please ask that guy in the counter to show little bit of humanity to people in need. After all, we are just customers.

I'm from mumbai. I ordered a cake for my friend in Cok. They didn't deliver on time. Not attending calls.bad experience. Lousy people.

Good quality cakes and service. Brought an almond cake and it was one of the best. Their shelf products like banana cakes or carrot date cakes not very recommended.

Used to be Nice. Since COVID they have shrunk it inside a Supermarket and it isn't a Proper Bread world anymore

Good quality food. Hygienic. Good ambience.
However, they lack the option of home delivery for all their items.

A little annoyed that except for bread/ pizza base there's literally no other option for eggless eaters. An exciting range of donuts and pastries available at display but sadly, could not have any! On the other hand, wonderful bread quality.

On 2nd floor is the Bhojanshala. Timings for taking advance coupons is 9.00 - 10.30 AM & 3.00 - 4.00 PM. Breakfast 7.15 - 9.30 AM, Lunch: 11.30 - 1.30 PM & 5.00 PM - 6.00PM prior to sunset.

Bread world jawahar nagar kadavanthra restaurant manager is an arrogant fellow.he should have treated all customers equally. His attitude when you brought up your help shows extreme immaturity, aggressiveness, and a general lack of morals which should be just about enough to tell you that you should keep your distance from him.

A good bakery. I visited this place a few times. The items are tasty. The place is very clean too. But, the prices are a bit on the higher side compared to similar shops nearby.

Very good bakery and confectionery store. Cakes, patisserie, desserts, sandwiches, croissants etc are available and is very tasty. Price is reasonable. You can get good quality breads here. This is located at subash chandra Bose road at jawahar nagar.
At first floor there is a restaurant. There is parking space available in the front of the shop.

Prices are a bit on higher side. Watch out for date of manufacture of all items. They like to hide fresher stuff at the back of counter/racks. Reliable products are cookies/biscuits, cakes bread wafers etc. Snacks and sandwiches are good again higher priced. Service is the worst though. They don't make eye contact and have a lazy attitude if you ask for something. Recommend their RAGGERY biscuits. Very tasty and hopefully healthy.

Bread world provides buffet Breakfast / Burch and Lunch on Sundays. This is the second I had been to this place for Sunday’s. I would say quality of the food is extremely good. One can easily compare to a 4* food. Y'day i had bit chat with chef Sashidharan pillai. He makes extremely good. (He worked across world for 35 years as cook). I got amazed with pasta, duck roast, fish chilly and Payam especially. All this comes for a cost of 300 Rs i believe. To honest i am become fan of it. Diet for a 6 days and have it there on Sunday.ha ha. I might do that.

A fantastic hotel to stay in kochi.
Pros: best location, walking distance from marine drive and other water bodies and main shopping road. M G road.
Also comfortable stay, good ambience rooms, delicious food although they didnt have enough options of north indian food when i visited.
Cons: its more than 1 hr away from Cochin airport but in centre of the city. Also it is on side lane away from main road and some time go for miss but that is not main issue.
Overall a good place to live if you are going for business work.

The hotel as an overall package is not too bad, however, there are many areas that they can improve. Room service/food choice and taste has to be improved. The buffet is fine, but ordering food from room service can be an unpleasant experience. For a start, the room service number is always busy. Only a few things on the menu will be available. Some dishes like north Indian cuisine taste better. But overall food taste is not up to the standard. The fried chicken, french fries, etc. Very pathetic.

Location is good, but there is parking for only 5 cars in the underground parking. Other cars are parked on the side parking area, where parking is easy but it can be a small issue while taking your vehicle out.
Rooms can be improved. The bathrooms have a sliding door, which makes quite a noise while opening. This was an issue for us, especially when we had to visit the bathroom in the night, as the noise would wake up our 2 year old son. Bathroom and room is not very spacious. Just the space you need to feel comfortable.

The deluxe room has a king size bed, 2 side tables, one small center table, one sofa, a writing table/ dressing table, a chair, a fridge, tea/coffee maker, a wardrobe and satellite TV. The AC in the room was very effective. Sleep quality was okay.

Booked by Southern Travels. Allotted room with AC and Fan both without regulators! Maintenance guy declared it is management policy. The bath room water was seeping into the hall of the changed room. Incompetent maintenance of good assets.

Good coffee.have snacks to go with the coffee.if you want something more than just snaks and a coffee there's a restaurant above.the ambience at the restaurant is really good.parking is limited to just 3 or 4 cars maximum.

Bread world always appreciated for its no nonsense food delivery and reasonably priced. One of my favourite joint in other branches, but in fort Kochi they added lots of gourmet foods. So I can say bread world in fort Kochi is very special. But parking is almost zero, so make sure you find parking your car before walking down to the restaurant.

This was a lovely place for a dinner buffet - good food, reasonably priced, quiet ambience, attentive waiters. That was a year back. Sally, none of these are in evidence now. Almost certainly will not visit again.

The sunday breakfast is good but only at times. They have sausages only on alternate sundays to save money and it's pretty much worthless without it so two stars for cheapness.

A good restaurant in Jawhar Nagar where the cheft's special is truly awesome. Sunday brunch is another speciality!

Very nice atmosphere and ambience. Very small restaurant. But premium look. But supplier is bangali. Tasty food but food quality is normal. Order time is too long. Maybe it will around 45 minutes. But if you want a tea break, it's good for you. But don't go upstair. Because your tea time will be end with dinner.

Very good food and slightly higher prices but you get a lot of food and not half portions. Also cakes and sandwtches in the bakery. Nice atmosphere too.
