THE HARBOUR Bar & Beer Parlour, Alappuzha

The only bar we visited in Alleppey where my blondhaired wife was not stared at. Inside the Raheem Residency compound. Slightly more expensive than the competition but female travellers might find the price difference worth paying. Delightful food. Closes very early (22: 00).

We wanted to order food and we asked the staffs to take order 5 times but they said kitchen closed but they are serving food to the other local customers, don’t know why? They are behaving like we are aliens.

The food (fish) was carelessly prepared. Too expensive for the quantity. The drinks were cold and the price was good.

Not a good place for having drinks and food, very rude staff and worst service.
Better to go to the other side of Alleppey for drinks or food.

Life changing. Never have I had a more satisfying experience. I’ve traveled the world time and time again. Nothing compares. Made so many wonderful lifelong friends. I will take these memories with me wherever I go, through good times and bad.

Everything was wonderful. Was having the time of my life hanging with the locals. Unfortunately some expat arrived and ruined the vibe. Wanted to talk about Ozark and how he’s a big deal in Hong Kong. Sad.

People from the East West North part of India should not go there and the staff of this hotel are very arrogant and rude

Decided to hop in and give this place a 5 stars because its a really decent bar - great ambiance and nice, helpfull staff.

Awful experience! Stale fish on the beach! Rude waiters at the helm who serve cold undercooked food. Please note that they take special attention to foreigners and they hate Indians.
Creepy waiters at their worst with no manager to put a check on things. Wouldn't go there anymore because of the anti Indian Sentiment!
ALso not really great choice of food and drinks.

I recently visited The Harbour bar and beer parlour in Alappuzha and I must say, it was a great experience. The lobster was cooked to perfection and I was very pleased with the quality. The only downside was that it was quite noisy, but the polite service more than made up for it. Prices were also very reasonable, making it a great value for money. Highly recommended

Get takeaway beverages from the bar as it's cheeper than the restaurant, they have a big collection of lovely cold beers!

However, there are a lot of mosquitoes coming in from outside at night.

Not all that great. There aren't a lot of meal options. Employee behaviour isn't all that great. Around 10 p.m, the restaurant closes. It's also a bar and a beer hall, and if we request anything after 9.30, they tell us all the kitchen is shut. They actually forgot, I believe, that Alappuzha is a popular worldwide tourist attraction!

Pls don’t visit this place. Firstly below average food. The service is exceptionally slow. Even if you get your order the mosquitoes won’t let you eat. Place is full of mosquitoes a big big NO

One of the few places which serves alcohol and therefore very crowded. Also the seating is limited which does not help at all. Strongly recommend booking in advance if you want to visit this place. The food is good, a bit on the higher side due to demand and ambience. Its right opposite Alleppy beach which is also one of the most crowded beach there. If the place is full the waiters won't even look at you twice or entertain you. They just wish that you leave and stop bothering them.

Good food, not a lot of options for beer and wine. Part of a nice resort setup so the ambience is nice. Service is very poor and slow.

Delicious food, comfortable place to dine and good service. I really appreciated the staff service and also the quiet atmosphere.

You have to understand these 4 stars are wrt to places in Alappey. It's apparently the only place in Alappey where a woman can have a drink. So, yea. The beer variety was decent and the chilli beef was. Did I mention it's right opposite the beach? Cheers!

Nice service, ambience and food. It wasn't crowded when we went so service was well paced.

Nice place on the Allepey beach, crowd is a just like democracy any one without discrimination of caste and creed. Only issue is food is not available other than complementary snacks! Staff is cool but need a push to get your things. Overall OK. Vodafone network is very bad.

Good ambience and good food but service was pathetic.average waiting is 40 mins.

Choose this place only if you have lot of time to spare.

Pathetic place, most disgusting service, stale and cool food served after waiting for almost an hour. Unapologetic idiots!
