The Kochi Cookhouse

First of all would mention about Mr. Jaishen who single-handedly manage the restaurant from breakfast to dinner. He handles the cashier desk, serve food on the table, delivers In-room dining orders and most importantly listens to guest complaints. I don't know about his designation but he works as a manager as well as a server. If he is a manager, then working as a server would be his compulsion to make-up for the lack of staff, but on the contrary he is a server, then he is doing something absolutely incredible doubling up as a manager, as in this case it is not his compulsion and he can just continue working as a server. In hotel terminology I would say he is not just a pillar but all the four pillars of the restaurant.
Now some piece of positive feedback for the management or the owner of the restaurant. You have a restaurant with a good ambience and set-up, I understand that this is a lean period and very less occupancy in the hotel, but each and every guest in the restaurant is important and even if one guest is inconvenienced that might lead to a loss of repeat business. And that business could be anything huge or small. I would not elaborate on what needs to be improved because that would be highlighting the lapses and speaking negatively. I think I have said everything.

We came here at 4 pm which is not the lunch hour, but the kitchen was working unlike in many other places.

The food pleasantly surprised us, it was one of the best meals in India!
I especially loved garlic chilly prawns!

Service was also very good and attentive.

The most exciting about this place is there's lots of positive vibes and they have a very very scrumptious yummy food, be it non veg or veg, both are equally tasty and yummicilious. I loved it. Thank you for the beautiful services. Good job. Importantly I strongly recommend everyone.

Visited the place after seeing the 5star reviews. Food was bad especially the Meals. Putting the review in hope that the reasturent improve the food and people shouldn't visit here seeing the fake 5star this place has.

Edit: we did raise all the issues with the Server when we paid the bill. My friend who was with me during the visit gave a review with pictures detailing the experience. You guys flagged it and it was taken down. Please don't talk about honesty when you are flagging negative reviews.

The food was excellent and very tasty with best service. Huge parking place is a added advantage. The Chef specials is must try. This restaurant is next to Kent baywatch suites at edakochi which is better hangout place with family and friends with an awesome ambience.

We ate some real good Tandoor items, kebabs and the Sikandari Raan which was delicious and decadent!

The Chinese was also outstanding - the Pan Fried Chilli Fish being my favourite!

Calm & Peaceful Location with Ample car parking, out of the City's bustles and Great Place to relish Yummy Food. Also highly appreciate their excellent choices for Vegetarians. Our group became a fan of their Stuffed Mushrooms and Hara Bara Kabab. Their Tangra Style Chilli Prawns and Chicken Angara are a Must Try.

This place is vibrant. Food is too good in reasonable price. This is the best place if you are looking for some fine dining in Kerala (Cochin). We had paneer tikka and chilli baby corn and some ice cream in dessert. I would highly recommend this place.

Had a wonderful lunch at kochi cookhouse on Sunil Birthday. Total ambience of hotel was awesome. We loved the Chinese dishes and northindian chicken dishes. You can depend on hospitality of Vijay and ishara who runs it to make it a incredible experience.

TKC or The Kochi Cookhouse is the brand new destination of authentic food. It combines the chatpata-ness of the Tandoor with spicy, tangy Tangra Chinese and adipoli Malayali dishes! The restaurant is located at Kent Baywatch which has the most stunning views that can be found in Kochi. This place is a hidden paradise, waiting to be explored! The chefs here are warm and the service has a personal touch. Would recommend to anyone who likes to eat authentic food made from the heart!
