Very very bad experience!

I went to get my hair styled for an event. I showed her a reference pic but she did something entirely different saying it wouldn't look nice on my face. The curls didn't hold up for even 2 hrs. I could have styled my hair better by myself. Very disappointed.

Please don’t ever go there for French manicure. I just knew the lady doing my nails had no clue. So when I asked the Manager, Rincy, goes “We don’t have an expert who can do it! ” Why the eff would you have it in your list of services if you don’t have an expert!? This is supposed to be a bloody salon! I could have done it by myself at home. Am no expert either!

I reached out to the Makeup Box for a gift voucher for the birthday of a loved one. Super professional and efficient service. The staff is accommodating, helpful and pleasant. The services were top quality. Best place in Calicut for salon and spa treatments.

I went to TMB a few months back for dandruff treatment and pedicure. The girl who done dandruff treatment was good she took enough time to do it. But pedicure was all of a sudden. For about 30 seconds she soaked my legs and scurb it vigorously and washed it. She applied a cream on my feet and said its done. I have never experienced a pedicure in less than 5 minutes and they ask me to pay 900 for such a substandard procedure. Travelling all the way from Kannur in search of good salon was such a waste of money for me. Will never recomment TMB Salon for anyone else.

I have done smoothening in this place 3 month back and the result was very nice my hair is still the same managable and smooth I must say great consultation with wonderful staff all the very best

I had recently went to this salon for balayage hair colouring and Rosie assisted me. As it was my first time colouring, I was bit worried and I didn’t want to look too loud with the colour. I really admire her professionalism in getting it done right. She even explained me about the post care treatment as well. And since then I never looked back in going to any other salon and I always make sure I ask for Rosie. I had my haircut done today and as always she doesn’t fail to surprise me with exactly what I had in my mind or even come up with better suggestion that will make us love our hair. I would definitely suggest this place for everyone and don’t forget to ask for Rosie.you wouldn’t regret!

My hair was very frizzy and unimaginable and after a consultation i ended up doing a cysteine treatment and the result was beautiful. The staff were very cooperative and explained everything before starting. I loved the service

A nice and tidy salon. I used only the haircare service so can't comment on the spa services. It's clean and spacious, well kept. The price is also reasonable. Satisfied with the service.

Called in to get a quote for hair coloring and the staff was very rude to me. Hung up on me when I said I was comparing rates! I did the same thing to 3 other salons and no one behaved like this. It should be perfectly acceptable for a middle class customer to compare rates.

Had 1 of my cousin's and my sister in law's makeup done here. The service and staff are really good. They are all very friendly and they explain everything to you before hand. Though my cousins makeup got bit oxidised cause of the foundation shade not being matched properly but my sister in law looked flawless for her wedding and reception. They have very good hair spa treatments too. Though they are bit pricey but the quality they deliver is really good.

My experience with The Makeup Box has been nothing less than perfect. You'd think it might cost a bomb for the luxurious and extravagant services they provide, but to my surprise this place is reasonable and the staff is very well trained and friendly. It's my go to salon in Calicut. Definitely recommend it.:)
