I requested the Modular Factory team's help with interior design of my home in Thrissur. My experience working with them was wonderful right from the start till the completion of the project. They are a very responsive and customer focused company. They have an expert team of designers, carpenters, plumbers all under one roof. It started with contacting Divin and Ratheesh. Then, they came for a site visit where they measured dimensions and understand my requirements. The design team provided 2-D and very realistic 3-D designs, which helped me get a very good visualization of the end result. They were very cooperative while I iterated over the design multiple times. They provided excellent suggestions and tips based on their vast experience. Once design was finalized, I received a quote which was very detailed with the specs of material to be used, square feet, etc. There were no hidden or surprise charges during or after the work was completed. The quality of their work is superb. They were very flexible to accommodate some design changes after the work started. I reported a very minor defect and they took care of it. They have also promised to stand behind their work and take care of any other flaws or workmanship defects if found at a later date. I highly recommend this firm to anyone who is looking for a high quality and responsive interior design services.
We did our interiors with Modular factory. Overall we are very happy with the final delivery. There were some logistic challenges but timely intervention by Divin and Rateesh helped us sail through. The team is small but dedicated to ensuring customer value.
Our requirement was to renovate our apartment (which was fully furnished) and add some storage in the kitchen, Master Bedroom, Re-design the Pooja Unit and add a new Permanent Shoe Rack unit. We were looking for a suitable contractor / designer for almost one year and got some quotes from some local contractors / firms. In the meantime, some of our friends were doing interior alterations and we have seen them bamboozled by the contractors in so many ways including material swap, last moment changes in design/estimate and undue delay in completion of work. This really made us seriously look for a right vendor and it ended up in hiring "The Modular Factory". We had initially some doubts in engaging a firm from Ernakulam for the interior work in Trivandrum, but now we are extremely happy with the result.
We first contacted Mr. Divin from Modular Factory and gave an idea about the requirements. Soon, he visited our apartment to see the site, took the measurements and gave the quotation for the work. We had a healthy discussion at that time that helped to choose the right plan, colour combinations that suited our requirements. They have patiently listened and considered all our possible ideas/suggestions. Mr. Shabeer (The designer) and Mr. Divin connected us through WhatsApp and after much deliberations, we finalized the 3D and 2D designs.
As we shifted to another apartment during the renovation period, we requested Mr. Divin and Mr. Ratheesh to complete the work as early as possible. The Electrician/Plumber came first and completed all preliminary electrical/plumbing works in just 2 days. Then, the carpenters arrived and completed all the wood work in 4 days. After that the tile workers came and completed the cladding/tile works in 3 days. On the 10th day, all pending electrical/plumbing connections were completed. The entire work was completed in just 10 days. The most impressive thing was that the final result was exactly matching with the 3D images already provided.
All the workers arranged by Modular Factory were well behaved, hard working, knowledgeable and they never created any issue for us/neighboring units. The workers had cleaned the apartment at the end of work everyday and there was minimal waste remaining at our apartment at the end of the project. They have used the exact materials (hinges, wood etc.) chosen by us during the initial discussions.
We are really impressed with the quality of work they delivered. All the works were completed with perfection and in a timely manner even without any direct supervision from our part. We came across Modular Factory after multiple conversations with interior designing companies. Since our requirement was a renovation of our family home, most of the companies, they either denied renovation work or they quoted way too high, so that we would not bother them. But in all of this chaos of finalizing an interior designing company, Modular Factory stood out.
We are extremely glad to say that we chose Divin and his team for our Family home renovation.
