The Munnar Queen Resort

Location and views from room were very good. Rooms were good. Food was okay-okay. Can improve a lot.

Beauty on a hill is what i would call them. Well maintained and clean rooms, wash rooms and common areas. The view from the room was awesome in the morning. Location also is great and easily accessible. The only downside is their restaurant. Since its not a running restaurant i will suggest people to avoid it for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was good. Rooftop views and pool were awesome. Can give all 5 stars.

Concerns
1. No welcome drink
2. Unhygienic toilet, not ready as per four star hotel criteria.
3. Bedsheets not changed or washed, forced to call them at night and changed it to sleep
4. Noisy false cealing at 2am. Rat or top floor resident.
5. Even for luxury Room space charged extra person
6. Brakefast.butter damaged, idly with damaged oil smell.
7. Hotel is 15 km away from town at a remote place.

The property is in Anachal, nearly 11kms from Munnar town and is located at a beautiful landscape by the roadside.
The rooms are quite small for a 4 star hotel, but considering the other properties in Munnar, they are decent enough. You get every facilities from resturant, games room, children's play area etc. They have provisions for DJ and Bonefire as well on the open terrace.
Try to book a room with a balcony, the view is amazing from the rooms and you will totally love it!
The staff is so good and helpful. It's better to book room by calling the property rather than online platforms, the hotel gives you better rate and even upgrade the rooms free of cost which includes breakfast. (My case, I got to save around 7k for 3 night stay by direct booking).
The food is average, but considering the staff shortage due to Corona pandemic, they managed it really well, I would say. They didn't have a buffet and I had to go with a la carte for lunch and dinner, which is costly. You can take a walk for 10mins or drive 500m to Anachal town and there are some good restaurants available if needed.
The pool is so good and is on the 7th floor (rooftop), as I mentioned the view is amazing from there too.
Try to take the jeep Safari, which cost me around 2300/- (for 6 people) they will take you to all the nearby sites, and trust me that 3hr trip will be totally worth it.

Not good property rooms are not cleaned properly, food is not tastey full somke smell in the bathroom. Rooms are not properly maintained, only the pool is well maintained properly. All the Staff are very friendly.
It is not worthy

Its just 15 mins away from the Munnar city or bus stop which a congested area. Rooms are specious and well maintained. Staffs are good and well behaved. Location is the best part of the Hotel. Roof top swimming pool will give you a panoramic view. Food was just good and bit costly. Overall very nice experience and surely recommended

Good room service, cleaning and reception is nice. Food quality is normal. There is waste dub near the room that is very bad.the view from hotel is very nice

Cool place for an outing.
Munnar is always our favourite place. This s the first te we are arranging the outing for our company at Munnar Queen. Marvelous resort with very good ambiance.

It was nice experience especially the ambience of hotel locality. Also the service boys were well serving and committed on their duty. Food was Super.

No ac, if there is no cold outside it's so hot to be there. And charging high for such non AC room. Food is expensive one egg chilli costs to 220 rupees. Very bad experience with food and price.

Why you guys are not ready discuss the menu price, this hotel is not a 5/4/3 star one, even I belive it's dnt have a 2 star facility, but for the pricing they have the 5star rating, kidoos. 220 for the egg chilli, ethilum bedam. Feeling kashtam.

Who has given? Not even fit enough for single star. Horrible breakfast items with limited variety, slippery tiles provided in the bathrooms, non a/c rooms etc.stand as a proof for the poor standard of the hotel. Let no one prefer this resort even in the worst situation. Very bad indeed.

It's a decent stay hotel with few facility like swimming pool and small play place.definitely not worth 4stars.the bathrooms are highly skiddy and it's overpriced for the facilities and restaurant is just average.breakfast and other menu requires more options and pretty costly too.its ok to stay but definitely price is more

Stay at The Munnar Queen was pleasant. Location is overlooking valley which offers a good view. The food on the menu is overpriced and room tarrif are also high for the luxury room in which we stayed (which was similar to the executive room). Staff is courteous.

Hotel was amazing with some great view of Munnar city yet rooms are not air conditioned so there's a little problem even during early march. Also, there are 2 gates at ground floor with play area for kids, main entrance is guarded while another entrance has no security whatsoever and it remains open. Not too sure of security

It is the best resort in munnar. It has a very nice swimming pool on terrace. You get to see a very nice view from terrace. Rooms are also good. You feel very good there. It has games room (carrom board + table tennes +football table).

Its just lovely good facilities were provided to us there are good and clean rooms and service provided was great

Had a nice and comfortable stay.wifi was slow, but overall it is good. Glasses in the room were not clean. It should be rectified.

Hotel is not having good staff and management. Staffs hardly can understand Hindi/English and management is not friendly with customers. Have requested the hotel to decorate our room before check in but when we reached the hotel, reception told it is still not done and maybe they can do it evening. They just ruined the surprise I had planned for my wife. No mineral water provided in rooms, they only provide some filtered water and charge 50+ rupees for each 1 litre bottles. No ac in any of the rooms and the temperature was quite hot when we visited in Feb.

This is an excellent resort. I stayed there for one night and the stay was really good.
Pros - Easily accessible, friendly staff, food also good, swimming pool is there, rooms are large and very much clean, good natural view.
Cons - no open space for outdoor games, lack of gym

I had booked a normal room through direct booking and when I checked in they freely upgraded that to a suite room.:)
That room was an excellent one.

It's okay type. Nothing special. Ordinary room types (suites room) with building views, food is like testless.

There are no facilities for car parking. This place is about 20 km from Munnar. Since it is about 20 km from Munnar, it is very hot. Room does not have an air conditioner

This is a very good hotel i stayed here for 2days, view was awesome, and swimming pool is like wow.but food taste was not good other than food everything was very good.

Hotel rooms are huge with good view from balcony. There is no ac or heater. Not that we required but it gets stufffy if you dont switch on fans. Pool view is amazing at sunset time. Pool towels are provided. Games room is good for family activities. Food is decent, breakfast spread has lot of options.there was some issue in bathroom ventilation which the reception said they will get it repaired soon.

It's a normal 3star hotel. We got upgraded.nice staff & swimming pool is small.it was very cold. I think there is no temperature maintained for pool.it was having very cold water.food was awesome.

This is a good property to stay at Munnar.
Facilities, rooms, staff, food quality had no complaints.
A hats off to the very cordial staff, food quality was excellent. The property is 4 star and the stay back is also a similar experience. Pool at roof top, a must to calm if you visit here.

Munnar queen is a nice place to stay in Munnar. About 6 kms from town of Munnar this place is easily accessible and offers a good view of valley. Restaurant, swimming pool and activity room are the only facilities in this resort. Breakfast was a vegetarian delight.
