The Raviz Ashtamudi

Amazing view, good food, good service (they take good care of you, we even got customized juice made for us out of menu), and if time permits do the half hour house boating post lunch. Good way to relax.

Took a Ferry ride from sambrani kollam busstand, best experience, it was about 1 hr journey @20rs

We all are Senior Citizens.
We had booked 7 Rooms in April 2023 for 2 nights for 26th & 27th December 2023 through makemytrip.com.

On checking in we found
Front desk staff not upto high standards of Leela group.
We had chaotic check in experience.
There was lack of coordination & poor communication skills.

One of the room key was handed over after waiting for 2 hours in lobby.

Manager tried to justify the inconvenience caused to us at Reception, at the time of checking in.

There was No Fridge & no Locker/Safe in OUR Room No. 115 though both were there in other 6 rooms allotted to us. No provision was made inspite of telling staff in reception counter and Manager as well.

Room decor was good.

We hoped & prayed that our stay for 2 days will be tolerable.
Luckily our stay was pleasant and uneventful.

Room are very big size and very impressive, food quality is very good.
Only disappointed with the staff services. No one here to attend you either at reception or at restaurant or at room.

Good one that hotell. Iam a cab driver. My 70% guest i will recommended this hotel. Kovalam raviz and ashtamudi raviz. I like there place abd there services help full security and managers

I had given this place a 5 star in 2020. But editing it because of the recent visit we made. The food was terrible! Our stomach got upset the moment we all stepped out of the place. Extremely gassy food, and it's not worth for the price! All the staff changed, management is hopeless:) not worth

I had a beautiful experience staying at The Raviz Astamudi. The stunning property is built facing the Ashtamudi lake. The staff is extremly responsive and friendly providing an overall homely stay. They also had a wide spread of delicacies for buffet. Personally, I would prefer their "Allappey King Fish Curry" & "Kollam Mutton Curry" anytime anyday.

Very gud ambience and standard.it is fine place to view the back water of kollam. NOT at all crowded. A gud choice for our guests

Great place for family vacation.great ambience, great food, a lavish breakfast spread, courteous staff. The backwater view is excellent. Stayed for one night. Planning to go back for few days sometime. My kids loved it.

Staff were terrible, hotel is good, but no hospitality. Specifically In room dining people (mentioning Ramesh) are not professional.

One of the best 5 star hotel in Kerala. The hospitality and the care provided by Raviz team was exceptional. Breakfast was good, Dinner was just descend. Overall a good experience.

Hearing many good reviews booked a room at the hotel. The property is clean and well maintained. They promised us that we will get the room available at 12 but we waited for half hour more. Also at the time of booking as well as check in we enquired the availability of gym and they ensured its operational but after checkin we went to gym and they told it’s under maintenance. I think half of the team doesn’t know about the updates happening at the property thus giving wrong information to the guest. Restaurant service is not up to the mark as most of the service personnel are trainees they were not fully aware about the menu causing many confusions. There is a lot space to improve when it comes to hospitality and service deliverance. Overall i am not satisfied with the service I received for the amount I spent.

Loved the place. It was my first visit. Friendly staff, well maintained premises, awesome food, kids friendly. We took a houseboat journey also. It was totally worth it and had a great day with family

Me and my family first time staying in a 5star hotel. Also it's a different experience. Stayed in a pvt pool villa. Very good. My kids enjoyed pool and all amenites very much. Stayed only one day. Couldn't wish to go back. Kids room also nice and also public pool also very neat. All staff having good service very polite. Foods are ok for that price. Foods also can be improved.

Be it a cruise on the lake, or a relaxing traditional spa treatment on the premises, or a glimpse of the rustic village life around the resort, you will find yourself reconnecting with nature.

Good location. Average food and limited variety (may be because we went during weekdays). Good hygiene and safety standards. We could see sanitizers kept in all common areas. Restaurant staff and activities manager were all great. They were very friendly. In fact, they even took time and showed us the entire property.

Almost all services including early check-ins are paid (excluding swimming pool usage). We were told that even for few hours early check-in, we have to pay around 2200-2300 (which is almost 50% of daily room rate).

Food was not upto the mark. It worked favourably as we could try out some local cuisines and found some very good restaurants in Kollam city.
Washroom wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived.
We were recieved by Bonny who was very courteous and helpful.
We loved the architecture of the hotel and the overlooking view.

We went to stay at Raviz as part of our 2nd wedding anniversary but we were disheartened by the state of it. It was not at all maintained. The badminton court, looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since ages.most of the places were covered in dust! The fans in the reception area were broken, the play area was not sweeped, the pool wasn't clean, nothing was kept in a good way. Since Kollam doesn't offer much places to visit, we went to Raviz, in the the hope of enjoying the resort and it's 5 star facilities.but we were let down. The only thing we enjoyed there was food. Please do look into the issue and maintain the property properly

We were deeply touched by your warmth and hospitality during our visit. Staffs are exceptional especially Mr Bony And Renny. They helped me a lot during my stay at resort

The place look wonderful. Also good surroundings too and welcomeing was good too. Rooms are also so good. But the issues i encountered was numerous. First thing was we were requested to wait over 10 min to check in and also i found a dead ant in my welcome drink. Second over room ac was not working properly. It was cool in every room except for us. And in washroom the spinkler was broken in one press. And the waste disposal facility is so lagging. And also because of covid-19 pandemic not all facilities are properly working. So couldn't enjoy to the fullest i guess.

The best Backwater resort in kolom kerala it's awesome it has spacious rooms with magnificent view from balcony, have huge lobby and have biggest swimming pool with children pool have garden, lawn for big events, have in door and outdoor restaurant, it's USP is it's food, have evening cruise ride everyday with evening snacks, will visit again for sure highly recommended.

Had a mesmerizing experience @ TheRaviz Ashtamudi. The peace and serenity of the resort is a rejuvenating experience. The staff was extremely courteous with prompt service. A special shout out to Mr. Maneksha who made our stay extremely pleasant and memorable.

A good place to stay, peaceful location. Perfect place for weekend getaway. Delicious food at keraleeyam. Very friendly supportive staffs and customer service at best. Special thanks for arranging wedding anniversary cake and we are extremely happy with your service.

Excellant place of stay & relaxation for tourists visiting Quilon. Great choice of food & excellant Breakfast on the house every morning. Rooms are very neat & hygienic. Value for money for tourists in Quilon.

Unsafe place for kids despite being a 5 star hotel. There was an always 'on' plug point which is connected to an electric kettle in the cupboard. Guests cannot switch this off. My daughter accidentally opened the drawer of the cupboard and burnt her fingers.

A nice property along the river shore in Kollam, kerala. Surrounded by water bodies and greenery, this place is an ideal get away from the routine stressful life.
The architecture is unique and pleasing with the Kerala traditional touch mingled with western one. They offer boat cruise as well as morning package (seasonal).

Good experience, ample parking space, scenic view of the lake.
They have one of the beat menus also.

The location is amazing. There's always a cool breeze flowing into the building all the way from the Arabian Sea. The facilities are good.

We came through heena tour. It was amazing experience and staff service was superb! Staff specially TT and pool side manager has taught proper swimming to us like he known to us from very long period. Reception, front desk was very informative. Joy ride in boat was very very pleasant.over all property is in true sense value for money.if not stayd ravis keralal trip may not complete.we highly recommend to other to stay at Ravis.

An amazing hospitality from a well trained group of staffs. The resort is situated at the banks of ashtamudi Lake making it a wonderful choice for romantic moments. The food was awesome and facilities are superb.

We went for a team outing to this beautiful property, starting from the entry till we check out everything was spot on, at this juncture I would like to mention few names first it was Mr. Jain who coordinated all our Food & Beverage requirement who did a fabulous job, then Mr. Rahul from service we felt like he was a part of our team, our Activity coordinator Mr. Arun was an amazing guy hats of to you. The food was simply superb all mouthwatering dishes and service at the the restaurant was seamless it was a beautiful go.
Last but not the least a special thanks to the Resort Manager Ms. Suma she was a such wonderful person who handled everything so professionally, the entire team of ours was so happy with the world class service provide by you and your team

My tag line for Raviz would be, walk into a hotel and walk out with addition to your friend list.
The employees are very helpful, admire the passion and commitment put in by the only lady GM of Kerala Ms Suma and the culinary wizard chef Suresh.

Situated alongside with a full frontage river The staff and members are very very pleasing. More over the place is well famous for its food, through the chief chef Suresh pillai, the participant of BBC master chef 2017.

Awesome place to spend a 2 day trip to vembanad lake, breakfast is good and didn’t like the biriyani though
