The Raymond Shop

This shope is a joke in the name of custom tailoring. They neither have a good tailor nor a supporting staff to handle customers. I had asked for button down shirts to be tailored, they do not have smaller buttons so I need to adjust with other colour smaller buttons. For getting myself measured i had to wait 2 hours. Then on the day of shirt delivery i figure out they have not stiched the button on the side collar. They ask me to wait for 2 hours to fix it. Then they give me a dual coloured button. I asked for a cufflinks for trial they did not have one to give for trial, there attitude was it is your problem you need to bring it. When I was buying I could see people complaining and when I was taking deliver people had some complaining. They are not capable of handling custom Tailoring.

As I ordered a suit for my kid occassion First Holy communion on May 1st Monday an they called me today 29th saturday an was asking whether is it ok to be delivered on May 1st. Is this a good customer care

Best service and products for men's wedding dress. Bought wedding suit and other dresses from here. One of Raymond's lady staffs at this shop has helped and guided us to select and also, match the color and patterns of the suit and its accessories. Totally recommendable for elegant wedding dresses for gents.

Good showroom with a pleasant service, offers can come occasionally, there is a good selection of clothes.
The in-house stitching service provides excellent fit too.
Parking might be limited to 4 to 5 cars in front of the showroom.

They will not allow us to enter shop at 8.30pm itself and they told 'It's closing time'. But we go to an other shop Vanheusen and come back at 9.30 pm till the shop was open.
We feel that the staff discrinate us.

We had given two shirts for stitching and after one week when we came to take delivery it was not upto our expectations and we had to come three time for amendments
Finally we received the stitched shirts but pretty much not up to our expectations
One should avoid this shop as there are many professional Tailors at Ernakulam

Horrible horrible experience! Gave my wedding suite here to stitch and I had to come here 6 times to take my suite. Not only was it delayed by a month, I came here 3 times for a change Ang nothing was done 3 times.

For our wedding we had given them about 6 suites, 6 shirts & 3 pants and none of them were delivered on time.

The manager here is pretty much appointed to hear people shouting as there were a lot of angry customers facing the same issue.

It was very frustrating for us as some of groomsmen came from perumbavoor which is about 35kms away from this store.

Never coming here again! For sure! Heard Raymonds store in lulu mall is better.

MTM stitching is very overrated, had to redo pants 2 times, still came with wrong length. I am going to get this done locally.will never recommend mtm to anyone

Poor selection if you're looking for wedding suits, waistcoats, but compared to other shops its average. But the worst is their tailoring unit, doesn't keep their words, pure negligence everywhere.

The items were delayed. Lacked quick or true response from staff. Told us to wait and took their own sweet time for delivering the altered suit.

Neat place, items displayed well and accessible to customers.

The tailoring is just awesome. Johnson chettan at the tailoring station is the right man you need.

Worst and irresponsible service from a reputed brand! My cousin purchased a suit for his marriage and given it for alteration. When we went to collect it, they told that they have given the suit to someone else.
During this COVID times, most shops don't accept return as it’s not at all safe. What if we customer return the suit, do they accept it? They will tell all the rules. When mistake is on their side, no rules at all. The store guy said that customer hasn't used it. They collected it from the other customer and delivered the same suit to us. We had no choice but to believe him and accept the order.

Not satisfied with this store. I went in to buy a shirt for my suit for a confernece. When I came back to my hotel and tried to wear the shirt the next day and was surprised to find out that one of the shirt buttons were missing. This is soo irresponsible from the management side and I am quite sure they might have given the shirt to someone else and it came back and they repackaged it and sold again to me. In this COVID times it’s not at all safe to have these irresponsible behaviours.

The very next day I took the shirt back to the store and showed the manager the issue the manager didn’t even cared to replace instead he told he would fix it and asked me to wait. When they gave back the shirt they fixed the buttons but I was surprised to find out that they removed the extra buttons from my shirt itself and fixed it.
I would better suggest to stay away from this store and visit some other store. Soo irresponsible manager And staffs and the customer service is worse. It’s a costly shirt they would have either replaced it or kept a buttons from their side instead they removed another buttons from my shirt and used it.

The Place is Great with lavish selection. I loved the material and Finish. Unfortunately all was lost because of the unprofessional attitude of a lady staffs. I sincerely hope the brand realises the loss of Standard they face because of thier untrained staff. Literally (layman's Term) buy if you want attitude. Really disappointed.

I like everything about Raymond and have been to almost all the outlets in Kochi.
Even the one in MGroad many times. But my recent visit wasn't that great because of the "attitude" of the lady staff who was designated to "help with shirt materials". She looked so lost and had no interest in helping out. Yes it look a while for me to choose the material, but she failed miserably to understand the my need as a customer. (Even then I bought and gave for tailoring)
Last time a very professional staff was there and unfortunately I couldn't see her on that date)

Stitched a suit with defect and they were not ready to accept their mistake. Wasted 30k for a suit here. I had stitched 4 suits from raymond kottayam and all were perfect fit. I choose raymond MG road because it was just a bigger shop. So kottayam peeps please don't do the same mistake. If you are from or around kottayam and you are planning to do custom suit please don't visit raymond MG road showroom.

The place is really good. And the tailoring works are excellent. But attitude of one of the lady staff who is in running materials section is really bad and personally it was a huge turn of for me. The raymonds in lulu for me was way better as staff attitude was very pleasant and welcoming.

Very bad experience from here. They made a mistake while stitching the suit and it was visible to the naked eye and most staffs agreed to it. But the tailor was soo arrogant that he was not ready to accept his mistake. They altered it 3 times and the defect was still their. I stitched a suit for my wedding and they gave it 1 week before the wedding. I even asked them to stitch a new suit within a week and told them I will give full payment for the new suit too all other shops had minimum 10 days stitching period but they were not ready to do that too. Raymond kottayam has far better staffs and tailors than MG road Raymond. Please stay away from here if you are stitching a suit for your wedding.

Wonderful experience. Great service. Especially Anil Kumar who is s tailor and sales person. My wedding dress engagement dress gifts for my family and other personal purchases I prefer doing here especially because of this guy. He is too good excellent customer service.

A GREAT store with elegant mens collection. Their inhoise tailors are best for suits and mens formals. The store has a very good collection of materials for formal wear that too in all ranges. Would say this is one of the best stores in Kochi and Raymonds quality is excellent and needs no review.

The sales people are useless. They are not in an intention to help customers in selecting/ picking up right dress. Normally in any local shop you get a special attention not because you are VIP but they believe customer is a king. I felt like not heard on what I am looking for, than at last I made my mind to purchase anything I am getting & get out of it. Stitching charge is way costly than Kottayam.

Pathetic stitching experience. Needed a tailored suit, the fit was horrible, hands were like tied down. By the looks of it, their service is stitching, but the part of 'stitch to fit' is not there. They get a work and they will stitch as they please and have no responsibility to make sure it fits the customer.

The worst tailor ever.went four times to collect my shirt and was still not ready. Also the fitting wasn't good at all.
