The Willow Resort

It's a quiet secluded place. The ambience is great and the food is tasty. Great rooms with fine materials used in the build.

The rooms were clean and tidy. It's not perfect. Be aware that there is no Air Conditioning in any of the rooms. It's generally nice weather in the evenings and mornings.

The water was really cold and one bathroom in our villa had a faulty geezer which made it a little difficult. The rooms are spacious and with balconies for having a nice evening or morning relaxation.

There is an infinite pool with a great view. Sadly we couldn't use it as we were in a hurry for the next destination. The pool does not seem to have a tiling in the bottom of the water was a little or the harder side coz we could see that the water was not crystal clear as we see in the other resort pools.

Good place to unwind and relax.

Too bad experience not recommended poor service no WiFi pool is not hygienic and the room is average

Pretends to be a premium resort, but quality and staff / service dont match up (Especially given the premium pricing)

It was a nice stay at the Willows Resort, Waynad. The rooms are nice with good coffee plantation view. The location of the resort is serene and is near to a lake.

An above average resort a bit far inside in lush green area. Closer to many attractions in Waynad. Pleasant stay and OK food. Service is good but can be better.

This place is a dump…Property looks good but not maintained. No Ac in the rooms. Forget the wifi in the room this resort is stuck in 1989.there were so much mosquitoes. There was only one 250 ml water i get for free…They pay for the water also The swimming pool is not maintained the water is soo bad…my son feel itching after the pool.

Beautifully constructed resort in a private area, only concern is no wifi in room and the lack of service

Marvellous place for rest and recuperating with greenery every where surrounded with coffee plantation and jackfruit trees.

Food is very poor, services is very bad, property is not maintain very well and they also charge for drinking water

Had the worst experience with the manager who insulted us and talked aggressively when raised a issue, the property is good and other staffs were nice but the manager made my stay difficult, i hope the issue will be resolved

Place is good but service is pathetic.we visited Willow resort over a weekend and had plans of staying for 2 nights.but their service was so bad that we decided to move out the next day.there is no proper communication or response from the staff.lack of supervision from management.zero hospitality.non AC rooms lack ventilation.they do 've windows but you cannot open them as there is no mosquito mesh and this place is located in the middle of a plantation.food order takes 2 to 3 hours to get delivered to your room and in that they miss to note the order correctly n inform us at 10.30pm that the dish is not available and the cook has left the place n we can have what ever was left over.completely disappointed.management needs to work on getting the staff trained.

Willow Resorts, Wayanad is a right choose for family as well bachelors. It offers swimming pool, shuttle court for the enjoyment. Pricing was budget friendly which includes breakfast which was so nice. Rooms are clean and spacious with balcony. Restaurant is clean and nice too. Main attraction is the location which is situated in thick greens. Enjoyed Very well️

Good remote and isolated place. And there's a trecking possibility to a hill top in the morning to see a sunrise above the clouds.

Ok ok. Location of resort is not good. You need to go through very narrow road. Indoor activities were mostly not functional or broken.

Location: - 4/5 (Bit on a off-road but in a dense forest - You will like the greenary and forest walk)

Dinner & Breakfast: - 3.9/5 (Options are limited but good in taste. They charge 20% extra on the overall bill if you order in the room)

One of the best places to stay in wayanad, beautiful place, surrounded by lush green forest and service and food is 10/10, with it's calming aura that surround.

The resort is secluded and peaceful
Wi-Fi is good in the reception area and staff are very polite and welcoming.
The room is quite grand and atmosphere is quite zen.

The Wi-Fi in the rooms should improve.

We were here right after our marriage. The stay was quite tranquil and enjoyable simultaneously. The service, ambience, location and everything were fantastic. You should check out willow once. I recommend Willow for couples, family, friends and all others.

Truly exceptional! Right from the security guy to each and every employee were pleasant and professional. Big and great pool. Nice location. Easily reachable. Spacious room and cozy beds. Finally, had a great breakfast in recent times.

Very calm and quite place, close to nature with rustic architecture. Landscaped in a perfect way to blend with nature.
Staffs were awesome and the rooms were clean.
It’s a bit off (around 3km) from nearest town. But it’s good for nature lovers who need a retreat.

Cons:
Lunch and Dinner were costlier and the food was not worth it
No washbasin available in kitchen and lights setup in the rooms were very dim

Stay is wonderful and service was fab. My only bad experience was with the food provided in hotel.food quality and taste needs to be improved alot.

We stayed at Willow resorts for one day. The resort is very peaceful and calm. Good to relax there with our stressful life. The resort has a pleasant ambience. Swimming pool is big and kids enjoyed playing there. We had booked villa which includes 2 bedroom, attached bathroom, balcony for each. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Room service for food is there. Any queries we can call to reception. All staffs are good and response politely. Staffs Priyanka Sharon, Mujeeb, Abhijith were very helpful. Any information we need they would help us. It's worth staying there. There is Full of greenery in the resort. Food is also good. Breakfast is free. Lunch and dinner you need to order 2 hours before serving. Good stay. Enjoyed. I would recommend you to visit this resort.

We were a group of 11 that included 2infants. We sacked two double bedroom cottages and a single bedded one. None of the amenities shown in booking.com were provided.rooms appeared neat but pillows were dusty that made a baby sick. Lucky that we had medicines with us.hot water supply was intermittent.the room service guy had to bring hot water in buckets.we were the only guests. Major part of it was under construction which was not informed to us. All issues were intimated to the owner.he gave a headnod and that's it! Terrible service. We had to go to a nearby well equipped resort to make it a Holiday.well wasted 24k at the willow resort.only plus is the cook who served us good food.

In my experience none of the amenities were provided to us which they claimed to have.so please make sure to communicate and confirm with them before you check in.

Just had an awsome Experience with Willow resorts. A cottage in the midst of coffee estate, cool and serine atmosphere, with morning breeze.staff was very friendly.room was beyond our expectations.clean room with good toilet and toiletries.theres balcony area attached to every cottage.its a place which doesn't hav hectic hours.you can choose this place for relaxing your mind.

Good resort. Has nice clean rooms. Toilets were super clean. They are understaffed in kitchen, but the staff in kitchen made sure that we got good food. The management could have done a better job in having good amount of staff in kitchen.

They breakfast was simple. Lunch and dinner had to be ordered 2-3 hours earlier. They are slow.

Even though they mentioned bonfire, the staff at front desk did not provide bon fire. He mentioned that we should have told him the previous day.

They had a lot of jackfruit trees around and they gave a full size jackfruit as complimentary. Drive to this place seems fun, make sure you arrive in day time. Walking around the place during day time is also fun.

This place almost good.but the resort is in a darkened area also it is far away from the nearest town ambalavayal.eventhough there is a beautiful lake near to the resort.karapuzha dam is also near to drive.

But nothing much to do here. There is just a few cottages in the middle of a coffee plantation. Rooms are big and clean.
Food Options are very less. No Swimming Pool. No kids play area. No bath tub.
They didn't give place to rest for the driver, even though Manger Mr. Mujheeb promised to make arrangements.
In-charge Mr. Subheesh is not very courteous. Wanted to make trouble with us for just plucking some few plants. Came inside our apartment at night and checking what plants we plucked. Again making an issue out of it in the morning, spoiling our holiday mood.
Water was not available in the morning for bath. He should have kept it checked.
All other staffs were good.

This is a long pending review. We visited the resorts in April 2016. We visited there with our extended family. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage. It was a nice and warm experience. The cottage were well maintained and the staff kind and courteous. The food menu though limited was extremely to our liking. If you are looking for a quiet, family getaway, then this resort requires your serious consideration.
P. S. 1. The approach is a bit tricky.
2. A short walk leads you to the scenic and beautiful backwaters of the Karapuzha reservoir.

The stay at ' The Willow Resort' was really awesome. We had taken a 2 bedroom villa which had 2 balconies, one sitting area, 2 attached bathroom and a kitchen along with 2 very spacious bedroom. Everything was very clean and neat. It will be a very good relaxing place for sure. All the staffs were also too good. Would recommend this villa for everyone.

We really loved our stay at The Willow Resort at Odavayal. Nestled in the midst of a coffee estate, the rooms were a delight. A glasshouse villa which sports a large bedroom, an indoor viewpoint, a kitchenette, and a sit out which overlooks the plantation. The plantation offers plenty for lazy strolls. Dropped a star as the food options were limited, yet homely. Further rooms could’ve been pest proofed as we found a few creepy crawley surprises in the washroom.

Excellent place for relaxing.
If you your are looking for calm and peaceful place, it's a best choice.
Very remote location, better have your own vehicle.

We had an awesome experience with this resort. Very helpful staff, food was delicious, walk through the plantation was so relaxing. Sipping on the coffee when sitting in the balcony of your villa with birds chirping refreshes you. Will surely visit again

It was competitively priced when I visited. Getting to the location was hard because of the terrible roads leading up to it. The resort itself doesn't have much space to walk around or hang out so you're limited to your room and the dining area. The rooms are nice but it does not have air conditioning. Food is good and the staff is helpful. But the menu is limited. It is located very close to a backwater lake which you can easily drive to. About 5 mins away. Overall not very child/family friendly but very tastefully designed.
