Unique ceremonial martial arts show, Sunday at 6 pm. The performance kept us on the edge of our seats! Sparring, acrobatics, and fire spinning. Fantastic! Highly recommend this experience, only 300 rupee for both the costume and the martial arts shows.

Kalarippajattu spectacle - great show of the incredible skills of athletic warriors. Definitely a must-see place in Munnar!

Watched the kathakali and kalari performances in Sept 2023. They are undoubtedly among the most talented artists.

If there is time, they give a primer into kathakali mudras and expressions and some of the acts are also interactive with the audience.

One of the best things that made my stay worth the while in Munnar. What a show! Performances beat one after the other and the depiction of their culture through art is just beyond words! Infact the charges are way lesser for the kind of entertainment they are putting up. Kudos to the entire team and all the best to their work. Complete Respect to all the artists. Excellent shows to see traditional art forms of Kerala. The flawless movement from the kalarappatty artist was superb. It was a nail biting one hour performance. The timeless performances from the artists are appreciable. Personally me and my family enjoyed the 2 hour performance a lot

I just couldn't believe what I saw. The demonstration of the Kalaripayattu form of martial arts kept me on the edge of my seat. The daredevils performed several courageous feats. Their effort, discipline and regular practice is evident through their flawless performance.
The kathakali dancers demonstrated various facial expressions. They also displayed a scene from the Mahabharata. The dance was entertaining and expressive.
I didn't come to know when two hours had passed. Each moment at the cultural centre was gripping.
Both the performances gave me a deeper insight into the traditional Indian art forms.

Great shows of both Kathakali and Kalaripayattu! Amazing performances depicting the rich culture of Kerala. Highly recommend and must visit in Munnar.

The best part of the event is the Kali attam. You will be left mesmerized by their performance. It is a must watch. My boys were hesitant to go but after seeing the performance they were left speechless. They enjoyed every single performance. Worth every cent spent.

One of the best thing I ever saw.the whole show was amazing.it's a must visit thing if you ever come to Munnar. Trying taking both the tickets to watch the two shows. It's so beautiful to explain in words.

Fantastic experience! Great place to get a flavor of the oldest martial art form and also Kathakali. Highly trained athletes, especially Sudhish and Professional kathakali artists engaged the audience very well. Grateful to Sudhish and team for preserving our heritage and culture. We attended the Kathakali Dance show and martial arts at Thirumeny cultural center, It was just near the Munnar market just walking distance from the chai bazaar shop. The ticket price was 300 per person for a one hour show and it was worth it. The first part of the show was a description of Kathakali, they give a little introduction about the poses and signs which was important to understand the dance. The whole dance performance was storytelling with a Malayali commentary, but the performance was amazing. The facial expression of the dancer personifying the female character was top notch. Even guys performing martial arts were incredible.

We should definitely support these people they are so cute and kind and their cultural essence should definitely be supported.so I definitely suggest everyone to go and watch it they really do lots of makeup and hard work.t. Both showsthe are very good. The dance and the sword show it's really good.they do lots of hard work and they really get ready like for around one to two hours for the show.please go and watch.

The Kalari show was fabulous. We watch that since we missed the Kathakali session. But its real worth.

Act was very well performed by the performers throughout the show. Entry fee is 400 per person with both kathakali and kalari show. But we just watched kathakali show and it was very good. And moreover this place was centre of the munnar town and easily accessible to everyone. If you are in munnar town, please do visit this place. Show timings, 5,6,7 and 8 PM everyone with back to back kathakali and kalari show.

Wow wow wow! Our driver brought us to this location instead of Punarjani and we are so glad he did! We stayed for both the Kathakali and the martial arts and were amazed over and over. Incredible performers (Vishnu!), beautiful music, makeup, and costume, and thrilling martial arts show. Worth a visit for the entire 2 hours of shows.

The show was fantastic and any one who is visiting munnar should visit this place for awe inspiring performance.
The use of expression in kathakali is very important and you can very well see the different type of expression during the whole performance.
The second part of the show "kalayaripayattu" is indian martial art form which combines the element of fight and weaponary. This show was one of the best show i have ever seen, the things they do with a wide variety of weapons is very unique and interesting.
Anyone who want to watch something different/ancient form of art should go and watch them and help them to sustain this old dying art form in this modern world

The place was breathtakingly beautiful. The ticket was for Rs 600 for a two hour show of Kathakali and kalaripayattu. Highly recommended if you are in munnar.

Good centre. But surrounding location badly maintained, specially the stink of urine from road leading to temple and mosque.

Kathakali performance was outstanding.kalarpatayu show started ok but ended in a blaze.excellent shows, graceful artists, great sound, very reasonable prices, excellent location, wonderful make up, et all, made it an evening to remember!
