Thomson Food Mall

This is an updated review, the food is still good as ever and order to table is fast as well. Service is where they have fallen of the cliff. It took 5 minutes and telling the staff twice to get the salt! The milkshake i ordered was 30 percent sugar! And was one of the worst I have had. Needs to improve.

I'll never recommend THOMAS FOOD MALL THIRUVALLA. I had dinner at this place, which had the worst environment. I got a mixed platter with Nool Porotta. The food took an hour to prepare. The waiter was annoying; after taking our order, he left without coming to our table, and we had to wait 25 minutes for pineapple juice. The only families in the completed area were mine and another family. I paid approximately Rs. 1300 for the dinner, but I wasn't satisfied because there were only two small grilled fish fries and four tiny pieces of chicken on the platter in addition to the kebab, so the money wasn't worth it.

Mix grill is super but deducting french fries is not fair.please add french fries to it again as before.thanks.

This will be the last time I go to this place. It's very bad. Good is not up to the Mark. Price is not justified

Service is satisfactory. Vegeterian food is very good. Place and ambience is good. Parking area is alright.

Porota from thomoson is the best but the rest of the dishes really needs improvement. The service is good but needs attention on its pricing and taste of chicken and beef Currys.

Worst experience. I went there to buy a chocolate cake for my child (parcel), it was not a peak time and there I haven’t seen any rush. Even after it took 15 minutes for someone who took the order. There is enough staff and they all are engaged. The people who are in the counter doesn’t mind the customers. And after the order again it takes 10 minutes for paying the bill.

Really astonished with this experience from Thomson.

Visited this place while travelling to Kottayam for break fast and the food was really very tasty. Appam was very soft and so is the Idiyappam too.

Centrally located, food is good though slightly overpriced (in my opinion), adequate parking including roadside. A popular eating place and bakery.

I was going with my family via thiruvalla and we stopped for lunch, having rating of 4 we decided to eat here. It took them 20 minutes to come take our order and then half an hour later the waiter came saying our order is over and they have absolutely no value for the customers they are like " eat if you want or go". Not only did I regret going to this stupid place the experience here made me regret setting out on this journey in the first place. Overpriced menu, very low quantity and whatever you order half an hour later they come saying the food is over. This is the worst food I have ever eaten from a restaurant, and the staffs are so bad having no value for the customers.
Out of all the hotels in thiruvalla.please don't go here. Thompson's you suck.

I ordered two "ullivada". Felt like I was eating rubber. Told them it was really bad. Didn't even said sorry, he didn't even respond to what I said. Such feckless people. If he had the courtesy to say sorry I would have visited them again. Never in my life I would be visiting any of there outlets!

Give some respect for customers!

A good restaurant with good food. The service is quick and the staff are polite and friendly. The waiting period is not long. Really good food to choose from.

I've tried multiple cuisines at various occasions. Nothing seemed to disappoint at all. Pricing is pretty decent as well.
I can easily recommend this as one of the go to restaurants in Thiruvalla.

Good place to dine in Thiruvalla. Except King fish didn't seem King fish, when asked chef came out carrying a packet of frozen King fish and claimed it was King fish.

Overall Thomson restaurant food is tastey. But Thiruvalla thomson restaurant (opp to pvt bus stand) service is too bad.
Which I experienced several times.compared to other of their restaurants. Even to day i faced the same situation. Really disappointed and don't recommend to anyone.

My favourite food mall. Occasionally we dine out from here. Good services, good quality, excellent hygienic place.

Ambience was good.service was just OK.
I expected a variety of food. As mentioned in the the menu card, but when v ordered for different fish dishes, were told that it's over. I really wonder whether they prepare those dishes or just add on to the menu list for display only.

Easily accessible location, Clean and hygienic place, quick service, attentive waiters, can get crowded, you need to be an early bird to get a hassle free dining experience.
The Thalis are something to eat out here.
What we ordered:
1. Scrumptious Fish thali with side of Fish fry (you can choose from the day specials), however the podi meen fry is worth a try.
2. Porotta with chilly beef, the most authentic Chinese chilly beef there is to have.
All in all the food was good. And well priced. Definitely worth a try.

This one is near the Pushpagiri Institute bof Medical Sciences in Thiruvalla. The staff is really good, but the security person over there was not nice. He is really rude for no matters and I had to reduce the 2 stars mainly because fo this guy. The food and everything over there is awesome and this guy brings the bad reputation. They have large varieties of cuisines and in the 1st floor is the bakery and the second floor they have hotel. They do home delivery to nearby location

Great food. Great variety. Had fantastic dining experiences on each visit. Though ordering french fries is not advised. We got ours after everyone finished eating, so had to pack it to go. Don't order the fries guys.

Tasty food, good service (Good service goes to service girls, they are treating all customers in a professional way,) service boys and their Captains are not at all interest to work there, Ordered Chilly garlic noodles and dragon chicken, that was awesome,

Exceptional food. Great service. Multiple varieties of food served with different special dishes served daily.
We ordered a 2/4 Hot and Sour Chicken soup, Ghosht Rogan Josh, Thattukada Prawns fry (starter), Kerala Parathas and Ball Parathas (was surprised when our waiter suggested it but turned out to be a good choice).

One of the best bakery and caterers in thiruvalla town. Lot of variety of dishes available. The highlight of this food mall is that there is a sandwich counter, where we can make our sandwiches of our choice. Clean, well maintained and have a lot of parking facilities.

I have always been a fan of food from Thomson whether it's their Plum cake or a chicken biriyani. In-dine or take away, the food from Thomson is always very tasty.
