Thomson Kylas Auditorium

The auditorium is good and spacious enough. But it is too old. There is no AC and fans are not available in the balcony. The major problem is parking. There is no enough place for car parking. We have to find some other place to park the vehicles. Some cars and bikes can be parked there. Don't even think of parking heavy vehicles there. You can use the Ettumanoor temple parking ground which is 500m away from this auditorium.

Limited parking. Have enough space. Large stage. Everything else is fine.

The auditorium is a basic one.
No air conditioning.
It could accommodate approx 700 - 1000 people max.
Car parking for almost 10 to 15 cars possible.
Roadside parking is not possible as it's surrounded by narrow roads which are always busy with vehicles.
Toilets are available.
Security available based on functions booked.

The Place is located at the heart of the town, which is Easily accessible and convenient for people from anywhere. The Auditorium is fair condition for the events even though it is Non AC. The Climatic change now a days is critical and the authorities of the polace must take that into consideration and must try to convert it to AC hall. The parking availability is not so good even though there is a small lot nearby. Large crowded functions shall be very difficult. The Pantry is the negative side as the arrangement is too bad as the smoke from the kitchen is filling the dining areas as the people cant have food in peace. The kitchen design is so poor as it cant manage the smoke properly. The dining area is also a mess. The dining area is not well arranged and the tables and chairs are not so comfortable too. The room allotted for the bride and groom was just OK and the other rooms allotted were pathetic. The rooms were fairly clean but was not comfortable in case of air circulation or odor. Bathrooms were just OK Overall a fair auditorium for small functions. The review is Purely my opinion comparing the auditoriums i have visited.

A nice place to have occasions like marriages etc. Easy to find but to get their there is a little traffic
