Placed an order for 10 wheat porata and was delivered 4, called the hotel and spoke to someone from the front office who said the owner will call bk. Not received any call back and with this awesome experience I am not only going to stop ordering from this restaurant but will also stop using swiggy
Ordered some food through Zomato Yesterday and while tasting it was found so salty due to the excess Chat Masala (I was ordering the same dish from the same resturant for the 5th time). The restaurant was just near by my residence. I walked down to the restaurant and asked the waiter for owner. A well caring lady appeared soon and enquired about the issue. She tasted the food and apologised instantly and asked me to wait some time. I saw the owner herself has started preparing the same dish with all due care and also taught the chef the way. Admires the way she handled situation and owner's approach. It was a very nice experience with NH 47 Thykoodam Restuarant. All the best regards.
I like the ambience and the porotta which is really good. Other than that, there was nothing else here that would make me visit this place again. Since the place gets very few customers, they have to prepare the food anew, thereby significantly increasing waiting time. I am willing to wait for tasty food but the beef pieces we received in the roast and fry were all waste pieces and not good meat. In addition, they charge way too much for this poor curry.
Today (28 Dec 2020) i went to this place as this seems cozy and close to my study centre. I ordered a meals and kozhutha fry. While I was having meals i asked for a pappadam as I saw it was servers to a person in other table. However the old man who serves food told me that pappadam is served only with biriyany. Later, i asked for some more rice ti have with moorukari (there were only me and other 2 customers mean while the owner lady hesitate to ask coustomer s need, somehow after a while) same old person came and servers rice and when to pick up moorukari and found it's empty he came to me and politely insist me to have sambar with rice (which i had initially and was watery) hence I told him to bring a "Biriyani pappadam" so I could finish the left over rice. He suddenly replied that "Madam will scold him if he serves pappadam with meals" i didn't wonder with her attitude. Though she don't care her own staff can't server her customers. More over the hospitality is all about caring and at least asking what you want to have. She herself shows off like chef at Grant hotel. However I paid her 50 for meals which was served in paper plate along with 2 veggies and pickle and dried chilly, watery sambar and finished morukari and 50 for Kozhuva fry which was fully burnt. And as a feedback while I told about burnt fish her excuse was "some customers told burnt fish is much tastier.
I have been in hospitality industry for past 6 years and I have no dought she will pack this venture if she is not pleased with nither customer or with her own staff. May be you have good ambience and quality food still of you don't bother the customers you can't continue with hotel.
Super awesome food. Made me feel like back home. The food it taste exactly similar to home made food. I heard from the owner that near by hotel's are giving negative reviews on this place. Let it be but their quality of fooood is top-notch try this place you won't regret
Better than I expected. Never have thought of checking it out even though I travel by this road everyday while I commute to my office and back. Never expected it's such a big place and have such a lot of good choices in their menu. However by chance I visited there today and tried their Chicken Biriyani and need to say that it was really good and satisfied with their portioning too. 3 pieces of Chicken in a Biriyani is something which other restaurants don't serve. And need to say that their hospitality and professionalism is really good.
If your looking for something pure North Indian food in Kochi than, Thykoodam Bridge Restuarant is 1 of the best place to visit.specially Bindhi Masala Also Gobi best with Wheat Parota, they make customize Kuttu parota with Paneer, Chicken. Value for money. Best Service by Mr. Sher Mohammad. Must visit Place.
Ordered beef biriyani and chicken roast from this restaurant. Its hardly palatable. Had to throw away entire biriyani. It was just plain white mushy rice and uncooked beef curry mixed. It was almost raw and made me nauseous And chicken roast tasted stale. I hope someday soon this bad restaurant will shut down.
