Had the chicken Momo’s in soup, crispy chicken and hand pulled flat beef noodles. All dishes were amazing - would definitely recommend the beef noodles especially. Service was great.
The absolute worst experience. We arrived and they took 30min to take our order. One hour later the food was still not here and we realised they didn’t consider our order. The waiters were not able to communicate with us. They made mistakes bringing food to all the other customers.
Okay so I've been here two or three times some months ago and the food was actually super amazing there. Hoping that it'd be the same, we went there again yesterday and the food was mid. It lacked everything lmao. The service wasn't good either. We asked for a bottle of water and it took the guy like half an hour to bring it.
Nice place next to Kerala Kathakali center. You get authentic Tibetan food. Go there for the food and learn about Tibetan culture. Not ideal place if you are looking for service and ambience.
I really liked the ambience and seating. The beef momos are really tasty and we had chicken tukpa which is also really good. Must try atleast once if you are in Fortkochi
Regular customer here for many years and love the food here. Could have arranged the space more neatly and would really lure more customers:) Will be coming for more.
Great place to try Tibetan cuisine. It's pretty hard to find the place I'd say it's hidden, it took a lot of time to figure out the eatery but it worth checking out. The prices are quite affordable as well. Not the cleanest or finest place but worth trying nonetheless.
This is a nice place to have authentic Tibetan food with a set-up that matches their traditional dining culture. We had Schezwan Chicken Fried Momo (Rs. 190/-) and Chicken Thukpa (Rs. 170/-). Both of these dishes have sufficient portion sizes and we liked the new food experience. It takes some time to get the food served because they start cooking only after placing the other. Dishes taste best when eaten fresh. Loved the soupy noodle taste of Thukpa. The place tends to get a little crowded but it's worth trying out this place if you're in Fort Kochi. It is right next to The Santa Cruz Basilica. Parking space might be a problem and the place is a little remote.
I had low expectations on the quality of food before before visiting this place for a quick evening snack.
However, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of the food served here and found it to be better than all the fancy Momo Shacks seen in town. Simple taste, not too overpowering with the Masalas
Only con would be that I ended up spending close to ₹250 for just an evening snack (Momo’s) which as per Indian Standard is Dinner Money) Also the seating is a bit cramped and there is a constant buzz and noise of traffic while dining.
Side-Note: They play some of the most amazing and peaceful Tibetan Music there, which is a must-hear
Had a not so bad experience there.food were good.everything had quantity worth the price.but what i felt lacking was maintanence. Maybe its what most of the tibets restaurants may feel like.i dont know.over all decent.
This place is next door. Off the main road, hard to find. Worth the trip. Nice Tibetan restaurants at economical price in fort Kochi. Momos and tibetean food are so tasty here. If you are searching for good food at an Ok price in Kochi this is a good option for you folks ️️️️
The most great part of their restaurant is their ambience as Tibetan seating style is a rare site in Kochi. I loved everything about their food, i.e, in quality and in texture. The Tibetan tea was a variety experience for me and it was good.
After waiting for 2 hrs got served with the most horrible tasting momos nd chicken lolipops I have ever had. Even thought the portion is large there was no flavour in it. And the kitchen looks unhygienic. Highly disappointed
This place was nice with great ambience, we were reached at 7: 30pm and we ordered ginger lemon honey tea, schezwan fried momo, chicken lollipop and momo soup, overall the food was nice, I like schezwan fried momo much higher than others
Over ratted cafe. Wet and dirty. The food was good though. The food portion is quite big. I have ordered a 12 pcs momo soup and a fresh lime juice and it cost me less than 3 USD. Nothing too fancy but you can try it if you want.
Good food. Ambience wise may not be very appealing, they have done their best to make it attractive with the space they got. Their szechwan chow mein and chicken lolipop killed it!
Amazing food & Staff. I have been roaming all over India but haven't eaten such tasty Chinese/Tibetan food anywhere yet. Avoid going at night tho due to mosquitoes.
Loved this tiny place in Fort Kochi near the Basilica Church. Their Chi Manchow soup is awesome on a rainy day! We also tried their chowmein (egg noodles) & hot garlic chi fry. Decently priced. The place is non ac & seating is average but the food is good They also serve cold drinks too.
We have visited the restaurant on jan 21,2022. The restaurant is set on the terrace of a house. They have floor cushions as well as tables for dining.the seating area is decorated with Tibetian flags.food they serve is mind blowing. Freshly home made with available veggies. We tried chicken momoz (12 pieces for 190rs), chicken lollipop (8 huge pieces at 180rs), French fries and chicken thupak. French fries are not the best but other dishes are just awesome. The price is on average side compared to other restaurants. The quantity is much and taste is soo refreshing. The soup contains garlic, ginger etc. They also serves some authentic chilly paste. Much recommended for everyone. The restaurant is run by a tibetan family. Tibetian flags, mask chains, etc are available for sale here.
One of my favourite spot in fort kochi ️the dining experience and the authentic Tibetan food is what makes it always special. Id suggest Crispy chicken and Schezwan fried rice Also their thukpa soup is yumm
A very decent Tibetan joint with good options. The only thing I missed in Tibetan food is the cold weather outside. Many Tibetan recipes are oriented towards the weather and hence it might not be most enjoyable in the hot humid weather here.food is really good however.
Food was really tasty & yummy but people go there please dont expect typical spicy masala and oily food. It is the place serve Best authentic Tibetian food not the indotibetian food which we usually find around with our spicy indian taste.
Savored American chop suey and chicken fried rice from here. For chop suey, one will never let its taste to slip from mouth. Fried rice might be disliked by those who hate spicy rice. U should be cautious while visiting here on a windy day since the mats on the roof might pose little discomfort. But this is really a good place to dine on a pleasant day time.
Authentic tibetan dishes and nice ambience the chefs are also tibetans, i tried ‘Chicken Thupka’ that was Very good one from the menu must try item. My friends says the ChickenMomos are also must try item, momos i will try on my next visit. The only one thing i don’t like is little confused to find out the restaurant, the restaurant is very near to the cathedral, in the left side of the Cathedral you will find a Kathakali centre the Restaurant is on the same wall.
Authentic Tibetan food at a cheap price! Thanks to this restaurant for bringing my taste buds the memories from my Tibetan expedition in the summer of ‘18 when I thrived on Chowmein, Thukpa and Momos among other things.
PS: This restaurant is situated near the Santa Cruz Basilica, and one has to park their car in the main road and walk a few meters to reach this place.
They got amazing food and nice ambience. But even though a busy spot at prime tourist location, they close at 8: 30 pm, a time normally everyone goes out for dinner. You must reach by atleast 7pm to enjoy there dishes. Don’t know why they refuse to open even if they got amazing business. Such bad luck.
They are serving authentic flavour of Tibetans. The foods which I tried is so tasty. If you haven't tried food from here, just go and give a try. Reasonable price with tasty food.
