Tissa's Inn

Very, very nice well-kept heritage boutique hotel with a small pool on the roof. Lots of art in the house, everything in very good shape. Very good breakfast, individually prepared and a good restaurant if you don't want to go out in the evening. The location is great, central and yet quiet, you can explore Fort Kochi on foot. I've been there twice and would choose it again and again.

I have no much words to express the hospitality and warmth my family recieved during our stay in Tissa Inn. I would say it is the best place to stay in Fort Kochi. I have stayed in many homestays and hotels here, but Tissa's experience is mesmerising. You feel at your own home. The clean lobby, entrance, the outside areas, the rooms and toilets make you feel astounding. What a great admirable staff! Right from Sanitha mam who made our booking, other 3 wonderful ladies (I remember one name Christina), the restaurant staff, the chef, the room cleaners - each was very humble, caring and generous to all the guests. Rarely, we could see such kindness, I ask God to bless them with happiness forever. And the bigger credit must go to the owners of Tissa Inn who have created this soulful property and have family-like staff to serve the guests. I and my each family member have admired and adored Tissa Inn and will not forget it. We will surely come back to relive the experience. We were here for almost 8-9 days during same month. I am grateful. God bless You all.

The quality of the rooms and amenities is excellent. Nothing is lacking. It is very comfortable, clean, and relaxing for the traveler. The location is also convenient and accessible in the heart of Fort Cochise.

So worth it for its price! We loved our stay at Tissa’s Inn- the food was amazing always, staffs were really friendly and helpful. The front desk gave us great recommendations during our stay. The Kerala paratha we had for dinner was so fluffy and the breakfast spread was always changing. Building itself was a beautifully maintained mansion that’s been refurbished and filled with the owner’s antiques. Works of art!

Great food and location. A little far from the ocean, but easy access to many places in Fort Cochi.
The rooms are clean and there is hot water from the shower.
I was able to ask for a drop off at the airport for 2200 rupees.

We had an anwesome experience, the staff are so kind and helpful and the food is delicious.

Great spot in the heart of Fort Kochi. Good value, great breakfasts and inside they have so many art pieces it's like a museum.
Staff all very friendly and helpful.
Large room and large bed, good air con.
Only downsides are the number of mosquitos (we put up a mozzie net) and the pool was a bit too dirty (though the roof top garden location was great for a chill anyway).

An exceptional boutique hotel located in the heart of Kochi!

The property is beautiful with pristine rooms, charming artistic decor and a lovely swimming pool. It is located within walking distance to the main attractions in Fort Kochi and has many shops, restaurants and spas on its doorstep.

The staff are very accommodating and went above and beyond for us. The food is of a very high standard and offers a variety of cuisines. Thank you to all the team (Christina, Sanitha, Shifa, Henock and Biju) for creating a beautiful and memorable stay!

Had a perfect stay here.
We loved the aesthetics, you can really tell that a lot of thought was put in to every detail. Comfortable and clean, great rooftop pool. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Absolutely go for it.

Good location, really very clean, kind staff and a good restaurant.

But here the negative aspects:
We have booked a "deluxe" room that is the most expensive and should be the best room (the other, cheaper, are "standard" and "superior").
We have been assigned a room with the window giving directly to the small parking of the hotel, with the almost continuos presence of the drivers (see the attached picture). So we had to keep the curtains always closed and had to live for two days like inside a dark cave.
Internet is not working inside the rooms, only available in the entrance of the hotel.
No safe available inside the room.
And we paid almost 10,000 inr per night.

Positives - Clean rooms. Excellent service by the staff, Good location, parking.
Improve - Bathrooms - broken shower, health faucet, no hot water at 6.30 am - not ok.

Excellent staff behaviour/hospitality.
All tourist attractions are within walking distance.
Rooms are well mentioned.
Good ambience.

Very close to the main fort Kochi centre. Very friendly staff and good clean rooms. In-room dining food was also good. Breakfast is À la carte with limited options for the main course.

Proximity to center of Fort Kochi, clean and well maintained rooms and pool. We loved the place, the vibe and the food. Five stars to the staff for hospitality and taking care of us.

Extremely neat and clean place with a brilliant and very professional staff as well as chef. The food was to die for and not just one meal or choice of dish but every single thing we ordered over a stay for 4 days. Highly recommend the place to everyone.

The place is beautiful. The rooms, washroom were spacious and worth the money. The hallways, balconies, courtyards are well maintained. The staff ensured the entire place is always neat and tidy. The best was the roof top and the pool. The pool facilities are available both day and night. The staff was really polite and He ensured all the arrangements were ready for us to use the pool in the night. He made sure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The front staff and reception was really friendly, Sanita helped us from booking the room till the checkout. She made sure all our needs were taken care of. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. They provided fruits, eggs, and keralan local style breakfast. Will recommend the place for a relaxing stay with friends and family.

Loved the atmosphere. Rooms, pool, essentially good, but the quality of the breakfast is poor. Try to improve

It is not just the rooms and the location that makes a stay worthy, it's the people. And by far the staff here was the humblest one I met in a long time. Bijo, the chef had our food needs sorted, infact this was one of the best places to have some soulful meals, Sanita, took care of all our comforts and requirements during our stay. It certainly felt like a home away from home during the visit here. If at all I ever go to kochi, I know where to crash!

I had a fantastic stay here approximately one year ago. The food was delicious and fresh, including fish from the morning market, seasonal fruit, and local breakfast specialties. The chef is incredible and managed to give me and my family a taste of the best Kerala cuisine we had during our visit. One night we decided to go out to eat, which honestly wasn't as good as the hotel food! The rooms are nice and cleanly kept, and I really liked the staff. The staff is really helpful and kind, and always was looking out for our best interests. I will certainly return here, and I look forward to it! My favorite part of the day was when the chef would fill the ground floor with Fankensense vapors in the morning, which were a great way to feel energized before starting my day! I really miss this hotel and I can't wait to come back.

Nice inn located near Fort Kochin. Lots of F&B options nearby. Friendly staff. Love the rooftop area where the pool is. Nice to hangout & watch the world go by. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable & clean. Only problem were mosquitoes however they did provide repellent. Overall a nice stay.

We had a fabulous stay at the Tissa's Inn. The staff was very helpful and the decor was beautiful and unique. Please do not miss this place if you happen to be traveling through the area! Great location!

Lovely place. Staff was outstanding, professional and really went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Room was also outstanding, quiet and comfortable, I slept like a baby there. Nice rooftop pool. It was a bit more than other options, but well worth it for us.

Beautiful interiors and chic rooms. Very cosy place to stay in the heart of fort kochi. But the food is tasty, but quite expensive.

Food really bad. Free breakfast was the worst ever had, no variety, Also the paid lunch meal was too costly and not upto the price paid

We stayed at Tissa's during our visit to Kochi this summer for my in law's retirement. The overall experience was exceptional. Our front desk contact Sanitha provided great support before arrival and during our stay as well as evening staff who took good care of us. Food was delicious as enjoyed a mix of continental and kerela style delicacies cooked to our taste preference- kudos to the chef and kichen support staff. Rooms were very nicely maintained, cosy, comfortable and gave us very homely feeling. We were also pleasantly impressed by the upkeep of his heritage fort kochi property that is situated in a prime location close to restaurants, shopping areas and the beach. Overall kudos to the Tissa's team for providing us a very memorable stay at your property.
