"I recently visited Vayal Theeram in Nambikolly and was thoroughly impressed with the food n drinks offerings. The restaurant serves a variety of authentic local cuisine and the quality of the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed their foods, which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The beverage menu included a range of refreshing options, including their signature toddy, which was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. The service was also exceptional, with the staff being friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We were traveling to kerala with family and as the kids got very hungry, we had to stop in to this toddy shop with so much of hesitance. But, we felt very happy for making the decision. They provided special place for family (for secure feel) and the owner Mr Akhil was very friendly and stood with us till completion of food, which was so kind of him and Mr Nandhu took so much care and provided very delicious food. Just like us, the kids also enjoyed their hospitality and mouth drooling food.

It's near to ootty main road right after Puthen kunnu.
It's easily accessible and a decent parking facility is available.
The toddy shop has a separate open space for people to dine in which makes it less uncomfortable for families.

Food tastes nice and also is affordable.

Very good place and nice ambience. Toddy is really good and they have both madhura kallu (less matured and more sweet) and anthi kallu (more alcohol content and less sweet). The food menu is kind of limited but they're really tasty and spicy.

Excellent quality toddy and mouth watering curries specially duck curry. Very well behaved staff with total caring. Enjoyed the ambience with family and friends thoroughly.

We will get good toddy from the shop but don't expect the good food from the toddy shop because their rate of food is very high and cheap qualiyy
