TONICO CAFE

My friend & me had an opportunity to meet after 20 long years and so decided to sit at Tonico's and sip coffee while catching up. The music was playing annoyingly loud here and we could not have a decent conversation. I requested the person serving to reduce the volume a little bit and his prompt answer was that the music volume is fixed and that he cannot change it! If we wanted to hear loud Rihanna music, we could've done it from home or from our car.
We wanted to eat here as well but after this experience, we didn't really care.
Average coffee, tea is from dip tea bags (really)! Plenty parking is the only reason why it got atleast 1 star.

Food was good and options where great, place definitely require a renovation to keep up with most of the new dine-out's in Kottayam

Smoothies are good except on sundays when there is crowd.chicken strips are good.but pasta and sandwiches are quite bland

Very good ambience and they won't compromise in their quality.

Good place for quick snack and coffee. Veg options limited, Vegan as good as non-existent. Service is fine. Parking space is decent as it overlaps with Tonico Mart next door.

Horrible food. You can't cut the steak and has no taste at all. Don't come here.

I go here for Cappuccinos, lattes every now and then. The service is great. In pre-covid times it was a great place to get work done. I do find it surprising though that I rarely find truly "fresh" juices here. Maybe they are out when I'm in, but a menu with an inexhaustible list of juices would do great if freshly squeezed juices were made available. There is discerning crown that priotizes quality, and when my friends from abroad show up I'm always keen to find places which use fresh ingredients.

We did a quick stopover here for a takeaway. We ordered cold coffee and chicken fingers. The service took time though they were very co operative.
The seating space has both outdoor and indoor sections. The outdoor space is best for Covid times I think. Pretty spacious and the tables have not been crammed to accommodate more. It’s pretty good too sit and have a bite.
There’s ample parking space outside.
The food is at best 3 stars and not more. I had chicken fingers and my husband has had a burger previously. Since we are from Bangalore, the comparison yardstick is slightly higher.
Overall a nice cafe and you can try for yourself.

Visted the place yesterday. As all the seats were occupied since we asked them to give as parcel. Later we found a 2 seater available so we sat there and asked them to give the food there. After 5 minutes we were informed that the table is booked for six people who will be arriving soon. That is really pathetic. Very bad service.

The service was top notch. Pastas highly recommended here but the Jucy Lucy beef wasn't up to the mark, had to chew through the meat. Hot chocolate was nice but again make sure to specify not to make it too sweet unless you want the sugar rush. Overall pleasant experience!

I like their ambience. Near the highway, still covered with a belt of greenery. I sat with my wife over a cappuccino. Wah! What a nice experience. U can sit in a/c or in open air. We went there in forenoon. Not sure about the comfort in their busy hours.

It is the only in the town, precisely in the centre of the kottayam town. The good thing about Tonico is that, if you need a place to spend hours and hours with your friends or your girlfriend with a good ambience, it is the best option. You can get a lot of options for drinks and snacks as refreshments. As i mentioned earlier, more than the food they provide, its all about the space and the unlimited time that we can make use of without any issues.

The customer service was really poor

Guys are good. Vivid, yeah vivid menu. Reasonable rates. Tasty and healthy continental fare with a dash of an odd Indian item too. Being a vegetarian I haven't tried very many items so non vegetarian guys, go have a bite for yourself. Nice ambience too.

Was pleased by the TONICO experience. Will go back there for sure. Reasonable wait times, great dining space, wonderful hospitality, variety of dishes. Definitely, we are glad to have you TONICO at Kottayam!

Every thing lost if service persons behaviour is crooked or partial. Last day i face such a like bad behaviour from one of their service person.
Dear admin kindly notice ur service team. Irrespective of its ambience or quality, ur service team's customer behaviourism only ensure future customers. Thats called loyalty. If it loss everything lost.

Always the favourite. Expensive though but some items are worth it. Especially the chicken steak in pesto sauce, grilled sausages, the white sauce chicken pasta and a lot more. Have tried almost every item on the menu. So Check it out if u r a born foodie or wanna explore.

We tried two different soft drinks and tow different need burgers. The soft drinks were basically sugar water and the beef patties were not up to the mark. Service was slow.

A nice place to spend some good quality time. The place offers good food. You can spend long time sitting and chatting with your friends. They also allow us to bring in cakes and celebrate their, provided you make minimum order.
The staffs are very good. There is ample space for car parking.
You can books space on advance, if you are planning some get together, parties etc.

For cafe experience in Kottayam visit this place. Ceasear salad, chicken steak and Oreo shake are good ones. Good service. Good ambience. Open till 11 pm and u can spend how much you want there.

It's a nice Cafe for a small town like kottayam. Open till midnight. There are not many place in Kottayam open till that time.

If ur looking for a peaceful cafe just drive to here and have a coffee with some good music. Overall a great place for hangout. Must try.

It's in the heart of the city, which makes it easy to find. They have sufficient parking area too. Great location to escape the afternoon heat and chill with friends. Friendly staffs and good food.

They need to be polite with customer (not everyone) I didn't felt welcome by few of their staffs. Food is great, rest of staff behaved well as well

The dishes available are varied and some are unique to the place. It was filling and quite tasty. But some of the dish's are bit too pricy. The place and the ambiance is suitable for some quite, relaxing time.
