Location: so interior isolated place. Nothing around.
Room: small old, old furnishings and fungal growth in corner of bath tub. Not worth the price (I had no discounted price)
Service: only good! The good hospitality of staff.
Food: overpriced, same dish ordered different days served differently.
Overall not a five star facility ️️️. The reviews are misleading.

I've travelled a lot! This has to be the best stay ever. The staff is exceptional and that makes a HUGE difference. Everyone was fantastic and they are such an amazing mix of people from all over India. There is a genuine n authentic approach to service. The facilities, rooms, pool, little swing n pond all were amazing too.

Visited the place on a business trip and had a mind blowing experience with the staff and the infrastructure. They have everything from pool to gym to you name it! We got complementary breakfast which is the most amazing one I've had in a long time.

Stay and food were absolutely great! Loved the ambience as well! Would have given a five if I hadn’t had issues in getting my bills ready on time at the reception in spite of me throwing in reminders twice! Hope to have a better experience next time!

Trident Hotel in Cochin, it's near the Water ways port. We went there for spending our honeymoon days. I went Cochin via Cordialla Cruise and it's like walking distance from the port. We have stay in Trident for 3 days the amibance was wonderful and food was delicious. Recommended in Cochin. Great staff. Special thanks for the Housekeeping staff they were really helpful. And A big thanks to Vineeth for guiding us.

We stayed at the Trident for two nights and the visit was spectacular on both nights right from the get go. Special care and attention was paid to details like the need for a quiet room. Service at the restaurant was great, the rooms were extremely comfortable, special note for the splendid swimming pool which was not overchlorinated like other pools. Jishnu and his team are doing a wonderful job!

Really loved the service.specially from Deepak from front office. He was so good in arranging a surprise for our wedding anniversary by decorating our rooms in the most awesome way. Rooms are so good, elite services and friendly staff. Lots of army navy officers are always seen as the island is controlled by Coast guards and naval base. Very much reachable in all aspects. Roads towards hotel are super good.

This is a beautiful property with very friendly staff and all amenities and facilities to make your stay comfortable. The food is very good and the buffet is also good.
We ordered Ala carte and the Malabar prawn curry was simply awesome.

The rooms are standard size and has garden views.
It looks and feels like an old time hotel but is a good option for stay. Only issue is there is nothing much on the island and one needs to travel out of the island for everything.

Hugely disappointed from the dining experience, as food taste was very average and service was hell slow (looked like all of them were interns, as they knew very little and got confused every then and now)

The locations is cutoff from the kochi main city falls exactly between old and new kochi.

The place is well maintained you can get jetty (boat service Between land masses) it's near from the hotel.

The hotel was well maintained the staff are also very welcoming, the food was very nice.

Had little more expectations which was not met, that's why 3 start. Really congested facility, parking is very less. Reception area also you won't feel like standing or taking. Buffet spread was very bad less, taste was ok but not satisfying.

Interior not much to say as the area is very less and after travelling through that open road you won't expect the area of just a restaurant to welcome you.

But what is available they have tried to make appealing. Pool area is ok but very open and straight view from buffet area.

A small garden area behind the pool is really good. Would have been better if they had more natural chairs or something to sit which would merge to the surrounding.

We had a pleasant stay in Trident Kochi. The staff are extremely polite. We liked the food both dinner and breakfast.

Horrible taste & short of varieties, highest rate, overall hotel must be rated zero. Street hotels are much better than trident hotel.

Its around 41 kms from airport, close to marine drive, service was bit slow, staff was very helpful and were trying to make our stay comfortable, food was okay, rooms were okay. There were mosquitoes near pool. We stayed for a very short duration so do not have a detailed feedback.

Had an amazing stay at property. Staff is very professional and have a sort of personal touch on their dealing.
Property is amazing in terms of facilities like swimming pool, gymnasium and restaurant. Breakfast buffet spread was great in terms of variety and preparation. Rooms service was prompt and excellent. Toiletries were of excellent standard. I think kama ayurveda.

Good service, courteous staff. I was feeling ill, they even helped arrange some medicines. Allowed to check in fast without any fuss and served meal quickly. Highly recommended. On the phone as well the staff was courteous.

Being close to harbour. This place is the ideal to stay for a night if you gotta catch your ship the next day

The place is mediocre. They cheated on the final bill. Charged us for food we didn’t order and charged us for phone calls we didn’t make. While I was going over the bill, a guy was standing there and staring me to intimidate me. Look out for staff who want to connive and trick you. Not a safe place, although the food was good.

Awesome rooms, good hospitality. Always been a Trident Fan. They have good rooms and great ambience. Kochi Trident is one such place. Their pool is beautiful.

Loved The hospitality of staff here. A romantic place to be in. We got a room with the pool view. That was awesome. Clean room. Bathroom had a jacquesie too. They allow to dine n wine near the pool. Over all a very much lovely place to be in.

College friends get together! We were searching for a good resort in Kochi for our get together. We took this resort because photos were good and price was cheap compared to other resorts in Wellington

What we liked
1) I reached early, infact 3 hours prior to the check-in time. They gave me a room, without paying a single rupee extra

2) room was clean and well maintained

3) hotel staffs were super cool and down to earth. The way they handled one I'll tempered person was very good.

4) food was super tasty, it was bit expensive. But quality of food was superb

5) swimming pool was well maintained.

6) we made lot of noise in our room. Asked room service to clean food waste several times. They handled it very good (sorry for the trouble guys)

What I didn't like. Nothing much

Best resort in Wellington island. May be in Kochi. It is situated in super location. Would love to visit again

Love the atmosphere. Very luxurious but cozy place to stay. The staffs were very helpful, the service was great. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Loved the restaurant and the pool. I was staying there with my partner till today. It was so sweet of them to gave us sweets and Diwali wishes addressed to us. It was a small thing, but it made us so welcome there. I would definitely stay there when we are going to kochin next time.
**Ps: the only problem will be the parking space when the hotel is packed.

Stayed there for a night with 2 friends. Rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed. Property is pretty big with all necessary amenities. All staffs were very polite and helpful. The only let down was the food. Breakfast buffet was one of the worst I have had in recent past. Spread was scanty and unapetizing. I had conveyed my concern to the Manager at the time of check out who patiently listened and assured a better experience next time. Other than that stay can be considerd as a decent one.

Great hospitality.superbly maintained their premises and excellent customer services. Due to covid, Pool, spa, restaurants are inaccessible.

Worst service. No one responded at the first go. For anything you have to ask thrice. They have lizards in their room. They have lost my jeans, belt, shoe brush while they shifted my room when i reported a lizard in the room. When asked for it, they said they will check and never responded.

The best property to get away from your usual "Busy Zindagi". Pampered by the staffs the minute you put step in and through out your stay. Trust me this hotel is highly recommend.

I went to Trident Hotel with my family on April 4th 2021, and stayed for 4 nights there. The place was overall clean and attractive. The staff was somewhat friendly and professional. There were hardworking trainees whom were exceptionally helpful and kind to us during our stay there.

However, there were some downs to this hotel such as the fact that the bath tubs were getting worn out due to ageing and the room i stayed in had mould growing under the bath mat on the bathtub, due to not being properly cleaned. For me, cleanliness inside the rooms are one of the most important things a hotel should maintain to maintain the good reputation.

The restaurant served amazing breakfast with varieties of food which i absolutely loved! And the staff there was very professional and friendly.

The pool was situated in an area where the sun rays bounced on almost all the sun beds there, perfect for getting a good sun tan. The pool area also offered pool toys for kids, and bath towels for every single sun bed there. The pool was cleaned and maintained every day by the staff.

The Spa offered amazing Ayurvedic massages. We tried different types of massages for each of us and felt very relaxed afterwards.

Located on Willingdon Island and surrounded by landscaped gardens, this upmarket hotel is 6 km from the shops at Mahatma Gandhi Road and 3 km from the 16th-century Paradesi Synagogue.

Understated rooms feature complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemakers, plus safes and garden views. Suites add separate living areas, DVDV players and/or sofabeds.

Breakfast is available (fee). Amenities include 2 restaurants, a bar and a 24-hour eatery There's also an exercise room, spa and a fitness centre, plus an outdoor pool with a sundeck.

I stayed there for two three days, experience is horrible. Due to this covid situation all services are closed. Working staffs are not much customer friendly. Foods served in room are horrible, taste is worst than any road side vendor.

Wow the ambience was so awesome at the pool area. And I was so happy to be there. The staff was very kindly and help full especially the security guards overe there siju and mehad.there where very full for me

The place is located right next to the naval air base and has a lot of air movement, however the property is serene and peaceful. The place is surrounded by nature and has near to zero crowd. The staff are courteous and are always there to support you. The chef is awesome and will bring up delicacy to the taste most preffered by the crowd. The hotel really personalises your stay.

A reputed hotel offering utmost hospitality and services. Food range can improve particularly non vegetarian. Lack of open spaces and lawns. Located around 60 kms from airport.

We drove to the hotel, the valet will be ready to park your car and give a warm welcome, you will meet with wonderful front desk staff as you walk in through the doors. Once your booking details will be confirmed you will be told to wait in the lobby and offered a non-alcoholic welcome drink of your choice and you will be shown to your rooms. The hotel is well kept and meticulously cleaned every single day, the rooms and toilets were spotless and the ambience was really good. The only thing that was a let down for me was the slight mouldy smell in the rooms, which seemed to go away once the air conditioner was switched on. If you plan to have food on the hotel itself, I suggest that one should book a room with breakfast as the food items are quite expensive. There is a lack of public transport outside the hotel premises so you will have to make arrangements on your own or tell the front desk. The hotel does not offer any views, if that is what you have in mind kindly check other hotels. The place is quite and far off from the city traffic of Kochi. The swimming pool if 4.5 feet deep evenly and well kept, it is open 24 hours for all the guests however life guard won't be available after 7pm. The staff are really polite and helpful, to be honest one of my best experiences. Overall we enjoyed the stay in the hotel.

There r bad smell like certain gas or fungus in the rooms. Because it is old.they put <remodeling> but nobody works! You should not choose this hotel even in such big amount. And if you want to save your health too! I pray for the employees in that hotel!

Trident has been living up to it's brand value and this hotel is no different. Located at Willingdon Island, the place is away from hustle of the busy city. It is just hardly half a km from Naval Base. So people coming there prefer to stay here. The ambience, services and quality of food is good. Recommended for stay

I was there for 2 days.just an ultrasonic thickness measurements of their fire pipelines and chiller lines. At first I checked the outside area. After that my boiler suite got uncleaned and dusty. So before entering to the rooms area the gave me a new boiler suites to not get disappointed for their guests in uncleaned dress. But I have seen in other five star hotel that workmans wearing traditional lunghi and shirt and uncleaned. I was there that time as a guest. I felt actually bad.

Our trident stay couldn’t have been any better the staff had gone all out of their way to make our day better. Arathi and Roy had the warmest welcome and was always there at a moment’s call for assistance. I had forgotten to take my bindi with me and arathi offered hers to me; Roy and Joel took the trouble to replenish an ice pack for my husband’s swollen finger while kumaran prepared a cake for my husband and housekeeping dressed the room for a romantic evening. Furthermore with balloons and bathtub was dressed with rose petals. <br/>Kumaran greeted us in the morning with so much love and sincerity like how family does. I had forgotten we were in a hotel. It was bittersweet just to say goodbye. We wish kumaran the best of wishes and are sure with his sincerity and kindness he is able to revolutionize hospitality. He should be the face of your company’s hospitality team. Beyond his culinary skills his eagerness to complete his customers’ expectations is far beyond extending. As a service staff myself I can tell you that he is a true asset to your company.

A great place with very warm employees some say that the rooms seem dated well they furnish the rooms like that to give a 70-80s vibe new upholstery is orders specific to suite that style but the amenities are up to date many rooms have a view of the pool which is a great place to relax over all a great stay

One of my fav place to stay in kochi, quiet, little away from main city, very cordial staff and good food.

It's a good hotel to stay.

The only downpoint i encounterd was that there was no water cooker to make coffee and tea. And the thermostat couldn't go higher then 23 degrees.

Not to whine but this IS a 5 star hotel. It's not to bring them down but just some points to pay attention to.

But for the rest i am enjoying my stay here. They have a excercise room (limited to 2 treadmills, 1 chest machine and dumbells), a Nice pool, good staff (they speak english above average), good food, and Nice beds.

So that's why i gave my 4 stars instead of 5.

Hotel is located near Air Force Station and Naval Shipyard. The place is bit outside rhe city but is very calm and beautiful. The hospitality of Oberoi group ensures your stay is wonderful. Probably this is the reason, tourists mainly from Europe prefer to stay here.

A superb, peaceful place to stay in Wellington Island. Staff is very polite and humble with smiling face, happy with the service, very professional staffs. I use to have morning breakfast only and that too quality food. One can walk for 5mins down from Hotel for back sea water or Ferry service.

The trident Kochi rocks! I had some important business meetings and it was so very convenient to hold the meetings in the Hotel. I had everything that I needed to myself. The staff is very frendly and warm. The food is great. I stayed for 3 days and the food variety was amazing. At the end of three long days it seemed like I had just come ther yesterday.
