Excellent team and Manager Jeevan and bibin team always kind and helpful for our needs and request, need and clean rooms and pool

It was really a very good experience that I have had with Upavan resorts. Jeevan the manager was really good and made sure that we are comfortable. All the amenities were hygiene and staff was very good.
Food was awesome and overall experience is excellent.

Food is good, rooms are old no ambience of nature just looks like lodge rooms too expensive for quality of rooms
May be rooms on top level may be good don't go there by seeing images
Service and reception is good

Upavan resort is a great place to stay with your family. Safe n hygienic with good amenities and parking facilities. The staff were very courteous n helped us to enjoy the stay. It has got wonderful pool n small park where children can play n spent quality time.
The food from the restaurant is also great.
All in all had a wonderful experience at this place

Ver poor house keeping
Left over toiletries was provided. Cleanliness of bedlinen and blanket was very bad and full of odor. Even after you inform housekeeping they are not bothered and never attended. I really doubt their star rating, I mean in what base that was given.
Dont recommend at all and not value

The place was overall good. The resort looks a bit old and doesn't look very well maintained.but the rooms were clean and the food was extraordinarily great. The staff were courteous and really helpful. Overall a good experience

The stay and view from the resort was good. BUT customer service is very bad.they cant even give us drinking water only 4 bottles of mineral water as complimentry and paid bottles if we need extra. CUSTOMER STATISFICATION IS VERY VERY BAD

Hi, I will definitely recommend Upavan to my other friends. And special thanks to the receptionist lady (sorry donno her name), she is very pleasant and helpful.

First of all service was very very bad, less ratings! Location was good. We got 4 bottles of mineral water as complimentary after it becomes empty we called the reception and they told us to come to the reception and buy bottles for money, even no drinking water Is available, very bad rating in customer service and the whole 12000 RS is a waste of money considering other ones in wayanad

Good stay in wayanad. The resort is well placed in the natural beauty of wayanad overlooking lush green trees. Waking up to the view of wayanad is just amazing. Great stay. Good food. Good service. Overall a great place.

This was my first visit to Upavan. I had food from there earlier. I used to opt for either Vythiri Village or Sharoy Resort but this time thought about a change and it was ended in total disappointment. The property is not at all good. I couldn't find anything good there except the smiling face of the lady in the front desk (Ms Beena). She was always helpful but others hardly bother to listen. The rooms are just average and too expensive for the rates they are charging. It cannot be called a resort, in the first place and the management is not at all professional. The staff members are neither trained nor educated, that's what I felt from their behaviour. Food was good, but very expensive. I will never repeat my mistake again and not recommend anybody to go there.

COVID. COVID COVID.less staff, less options, delayed service. Else the place is great. Staff do intend to serve u well.

Very good location. Service was excellent. The staff most courteous. Rooms were excellent. Food was awesome. Only a little issue with WiFi. SPA at the resort gives rejuvenation. All little services are looked after. Keep it up. Looking forward to visiting you again in the near future

It was a very nice place.rooms were clean and tidy. Place was right beside the highway. Easy approach. Rooms are on a gradient. They have van to take guests to their rooms. Very different architecture. Food was good. Not something to expect though. Spa was excellent. Something that one must try on going there.

One of the best resorts in kerala, upavan resort and spa, vythiri wayanad.its also best resort at wayanad district.its a peaceful spot for couples, families and teenage gangs.its gift best climate and peaceful mind.its also a mind blowing place.its price ranges are comfortable for all

Service was excellent. Even asking for ice in the room which is free is delivered.staff was very courteous and well dressed. Felt like I was staying in a five star. Keep it up guys.

I have stayed in this resort on 21 March 2019 with my friend. I won’t recommend this resort for anyone, cause I had some bad experience with it.
Pros:

1.check in formalities was simple and they offered welcome drinks!
2. Vehicle service from Room to lobby, play area, restaurant and to swimming pool etc are there which is on request only.

Cons:

1. No value for money. It's very expensive in terms of ambience, facilities and amenities.

2. Lack of privacy. As compared to other good resorts, its a big failure in terms of privacy. Cottages are not independent.

3. No Wifi. No internet. No cellular service for idea, vodafone. Don’t know about other networks. So make a last call at your home before check in. Because you are going to be out of network for the rest of the hours. Caution do not prefer this resort if you are out for a business trip. It’s a false promise made by ‘trip advisor’ and ‘make my trip’ saying they have Wifi.

4. Water pressure in toilet was very poor. I had to wait nearly 15 min to fill a bucket full. Shower was also slow, so I need to use mug and bucket to take bath. Pathetic!

5. Pool water was really dirty, it had taste of chlorine. Lucky i didn’t bring my child to this resort.

6. Breakfast was average. Not much items are there for the buffet breakfast and the dishes are not even tasty. If you prefer for lunch or dinner please prefer outside restaurants which are nearly 200m to 1 km radius.

7. This resort is situated on slop of a hill. So it’s big sloppy way to walk between room, pool, restaurant and playing area. You will have hell out of exercise walking from room to restaurant to pool, to spa to playing area. Not at all recommended for children and senior citizens and pregnant women

8. This resort is crowded with Police and commandos with big guns. They always stare at us. Like we are all spied. This resort is actually got threat from Maoist. There was killing happened inside this resort. It’s adventure to stay here.

Overall highly unsatisfied. It should cost around 1000-1500.

Best place to stay if you are in Lakkidi, Waynad.
Rooms are spacious, big, very neat and clean, surrounded by lush green valleys. Room cleaning service are provided every day.
The staff are amazing, very hospitable, very courteous. The food menu is average but the south indian meals are delicious. I would Upavan Resorts to everyone.

We had a very nice time here.well kept, clean and beautiful place. Loved the oil massage too. All the staff who work there deserve praise for their commitment and kindness. The Food was just great.

Very good place for a holiday vacation in wayanad. Very good ambience and scenery makes the stay enjoyable. Good staff and secure place inside forest.

Good area for play and swimming pool makes great entertainment. Kids pool is also available. Very good selection of food. Very nice restaurant which makes the dinner fabulous.

Only draw back is little bit far from the town. And the rooms furniture are bit old.

Alround worth for money

Have stayed for 3 nights and had good experience. The rooms are clean and spacious and most of them has balconies. The resort is on the side of main road and is surrounded by lush green and hills and offers pleasant view. There are no shops nearby but there is a restaurant around 200mts from the resort.

The amenities include swimming pool, children play area, gym, spa and few indoor games like TT board, carroms etc. The resort is on the slope of hill and there is a watch tower on the top which offer good scenic view.

The food served in the restaurant was average and felt bit expensive. The staff were very courteous and friendly.

Highly recommended for families.

They have provided good rooms. Restaurant facilities are available. Tt, basketball and other recreational services, including a spa and swimming pool have been made available to the guests.

Hospitality of upavan was simply amazing.ambience was so pleasant.front office and restaurant team was so friendly and given excellent service.thank u so much team upavan.and I recommend this resort for those who desire to spend quality time with family and friends.

Good place in vythri wayanad.good food though a bit expensive.well maintained, enjoyed my stay here.spa was closed earlier than it should be, don't know why?

If you're here, you know you've arrived. It's the most beautiful resort sitting comfortably in middle of a descending tea estate that used to be surrounded by blissful forest trees. You can see the clouds come down and gather above the resort ain the evening and watch them fade away early morning. It's a soothing place to be at. Greenery 360 degrees and plenty of birds chirping to keep you company. Complimentary breakfast service at its best. Meanwhile they can work on the menu for room service because you may order something and it maybe a different gravy than what you're looking for.

Property is very well built in the woods
Breakfast was good, spa available but costly.
Rooms could have been better, staff was good and friendly
Due to less occupancy it sometimes makes u feel isolated and scary as it gets dark.
Not much to explore in Wayanad, even one can skip from his/her itinerary.

It's a good resort, easily accessible from main road. It has got amenities like swimming pool, indoor sports, gym, ayurvedic spa etc.

Service is very good. We stayed as a family in honeymoon cottage which has excellent view, it is in a hill top. Shuttle service by jeep is provided for going up and down. Parking is available near reception.

Restaurant is good too, breakfast has enough varieties. Price is a bit on higher side. There was a mistake in billing which got reverted immediately.

Overall we liked it.

The location and resort was good in between mountains just 1km Lakkidi view point. Easily accessible. Good polite staff and ambience was good. Swimming pool is little small, but can manage. Best suited for family. Food was awesome and Spa is fair. Very near to 4-5 tourist places and can quickly reach. Good hill view, safe, and rooms are also good.
