VAZHIYORAM RESTAURANT

I prefer the ambience, they have separate spaces for families which is great, is not available in the hotels nearby, service is also good, good parking area is also available. Have tried breakfast and lunch, no complaints.

Food and service is ok. Ambience is good. We had dinner here 2 weeks ago. Taste and charges are normal.

Today I had lunch at this hotel and the experience put me in a bad mood.

They have put up advertising boards all along the road and I expected it to be owned by KTDC, but that is just a trick to attract customers. The only good thing about the restaurant is, it is on the roadside and they have parking space for 6-8 cars.

The service is bad. The food is equally bad and the rates are high for what they are providing.

I ordered three meals, one vegitarian and two with fish curry. After serving the food, the waiter just disappeared without even giving drinking water. Only one teaspoon of curry is served in the plates and they never came back to ask if we want anything more. Somehow managed to finish the meal with whatever was served.

Then I had to wait for the bill, which was finally brought to me by the cashier herself. The bill was the last straw - normal meals without any curd or proper serving of curries cost 100 rupees and fish curry meals, with one small piece of fish extra 150 rupees. The rate might seem reasonable, but there are hotels here in Kochi which give tasty full meals for 100 rupees. This hotel is just looting people traveling by car.

The hotel has just three or four staff and all these workers have a distressed look on their face, maybe they are poorly paid Better skip this restaurant as there are few more along the way.

Food was average.staff shortage is a real issue.had to wait for 20 min to get a normal meal. I cud see few other ppl complaining to the ones sitting in the billing section regarding the same (cud see 3 persons sitting in d billing.they cud also be of help in serving food). You could atleast spend few bucks to hire staff during peak hours.advertisement on d road is good.but for lack of staff

Earlier it was a good restaurant a vanitha restaurant had the best fish curry there but nw its an average one had a simple and decent breakfast

The food is just ok but the service is pathetic. The service staffs willnot come to us to take orders, they just wander here and there. However, if we call and order the food, we have to sit waiting for the food for another 45 minutes. The building and parking space is good but there won't clear the leftovers in the table for a long time.

Good service. Neatly kept place. Food is also reasonably priced. Could do a. Little to improve taste.

Worst food. Was very hungry and seeing KTDC board in front thought it would be a good spot. It was a disaster. We ordered a meals and parotta/ beef curry. Meals didn't have all other curries. Parotta Was a day old and beef Was cooked separately and added into the gravy. And had to wait for 20 min to get this

Don’t go here. Very bad food. Waiters are impolite and rude, don’t take orders clearly. Reception also very bad and impolite. Extremely bad experience.

Normal joint nothing special. Service and food are 'one can say OK'. If one is too hungry and not able to go an extra mile, then only walk into this joint.

Reasonably clean. The service is very prompt. Food is average. I has fish curry meals. Not very tasty. The toilets and easy area is wet and unclean.

Ordered lunch and waited for almost 20 minutes. They served fried rice putting one finger in the bowl, parattas were not freshly cooked, it took 5 minutes for sambar to be served after getting the meal. Karimeen roast was really really bad (no taste, full of curry leaves and Malabar tamarind in it) and the price was too high. I don't recommend this for anyone.

Good food. Meals were good. Fish fry was ok. Karimeen was ok not as per the price charged. Overall good.

After having lunch, (ചപ്പാത്തി) which was probably bought from some Shop, our entire family had stomach problems. Even the paneer masala was not up the mark. They must see that food supplies is not contaminated.

Great place to have a stop over for dinner. We visited the place a bit late and hence they were understaffed. But there were no compromise on the food. Ordered nool porotta, chapatis and panner butter masala along with chicken butter masala. Have to say both gravies were "rich", had all the ingredients and an extra helping of cashews. The quantity was amazingly large, we 3 could have shared one gravy if needed to. Food taste and quantity really are the highlights here.
The place didn't feel as classy as it looked from the outside. Staff were courteous (though severely understaffed later into the night). Parking is ample. Price is totally reasonable for the food quality and quantity

Great food with good service with smile. Will surely recommend to all. Do stop by for food if you are passing by. Kids play garden for them to enjoy and something elders can sit back n relax. Thank You again.

I must admit that I think the food is reasonably tasty and reasonably priced. They always ensure that the food we order is warm, fresh, and flavorful.
