Very nice Property very nice tour trip. Boating and Kerala traditional thing activities are here. Food is very tasty

A perfect place for birthday wedding engagement. The access road is quite narrow. The Sun set is cool

Beautiful just beautiful especially if you are planning to host intimate events like engagement/small wedding/Birthdays etc.

Very bad behavior, very bad service. No humanity, They don't even consider guests as humans. I will not recommend this place to any one.

Quaint. Good all round ambience. Spacious rooms and lots of area to explore.
Garden is spacious enough to host B'day or engagement functions. Dinning area is by the river side so attractive view while dinning. Rope hammock and swings are available.
They also arrange boating in the nearby review with a rate of 1000/- per trip.
Cons · Approach road is very poor and is under maintenance. Work will be completed in a couple of months as per local updates. Rooms should have a kettle & sachets for tea/coffee. The 2 rooms are far apart so not suitable for a family. Ideal for couples.
They do-not provide Lunch/Dinner we have to relay on the very few hotels nearby. Only 2 hotels available in 3km radius and among them 1 does not provide any Veg menu.

This is the place where nature meets peace. A perfect home stay, Where we stayed in the room on the ground floor. The room was compact for 2 adults and a kid. The backyard is an abundant place with flowery plants, there are man made water bodies in the backyard which are photogenic. The backyard is definitely a great playground for kids with swings and park benches. There is also a dining area by the end of the backyard where it meets the backwaters. This property owner got boats and a short backwater boating can be arranged on demand (paid).
Property owners are so polite, they provide bed and breakfast as service. There is also a manager who helps us with planning things to go around. This is definitely a cost effective home stay, the route to the stay is a bit narrow. Child friendly, they supported preparing food for our kid based on our specifics. Night will be mesmerizing as the backyard will be lit by lot of fireflies.

We had an amazing evening in the village canopy. Experiencing the sunset and Hospitality was very satisfying. Thank you we were so happy being there. We organised a bridal shower there and they were so co operative.

Very well maintained property for party and events. Accompanied with the views of backwaters and Chinese nets from a lush green field. The road to the destination is poor and narrow but they have ambient parking space.

Very worthwhile experience. We did a day trip but would love to stay in their home stay. Loved experiencing the village life with the family. Ana, our young host shared so much with us. Lunch was yum. Home was so aesthetic and their property faces the backwaters.

We had an amazing time at Village Canopy. The homestay was apt for all the age groups. The kids had ample space to play around and for us grown ups, it was perfect spot to unwind. My mom who is an elderly loved it because it was accessible and she loved the peace and serenity. The hosts made us feel comfortable, the food was simple and mind blowing and extremely clean and hygienic. I loved it and would love to visit again.

Hospitality was awesome ️ We went for a short time and they prepared traditional food and was tasty, Mr and Mrs Martin really took care of us very well, Location was awesome.

They have a beautiful backyard with a sunset lake view that is best suited for parties and even weddings

Excellent property spread over a vast area, rooms were clean and hospitality at its best. Martin hosted us very well right from the booking. The property has a backwater at its backyard with a good play area, would be apt for kids as well. Simple homely food menu with tasty food which will be prepared on order basis. Boat rides was arranged for us by the property. One of the not to miss stays in kumbalangi.

Peaceful ambience, rich and clean rooms with wonderful service by all the staffs. Homely kerala food available at affordable rates. This property has a very beautiful open garden space with a variety of trees, flowers and bonsai plants. Village canopy is one of the best stay experience in Kumbalangi Kallencheri with not much commercial and less crowd.

Lovely stay. Silent, serene and a great location to spend your time with your loved ones. Huge property and friendly people managing them. Food was home cooked. Overall a homely experience in the lap of nature.

Excellent location and well maintained. Beautiful gardens with rare flowers. Quaint setting, ponds and of course dinner by the backwaters. Loved it. However don't expect much from vegetarian food menu. Except that, must visit. Great for functions as well.

I have been to this place a couple of times. Itsa beautiful place, very serene and away from all the the loudness of the city. The host and the staff were very friendly.they provided authentic kerala food (we had ordered for that), which was very delicious. Also a lot of activities like boating and the beautiful sunset along the backwater made my trips to this place really worth it.would definitely recommend it.

Awesome getaway to relax and unwind. The spacious, well maintained room with a wide variety of plants and trees. But the exotic orchids was the best part of it all. Covered by nature's beauty and the sit out that gives you the view of the sunset. The Chinese fishing nets and the gentle breeze. We were welcomed with some beautiful rain even in November! Just sat and watched the downpour. Childhood memories. Delicious food cooked with love and care and the host always eager to make us comfortable. Excellent.

A get together after the pandamic was really a dream. But it happened last Sunday and the energy of that wonder full day is still there in mind of all of us. The natural ambiance, mind blowing wind, green meadows, lake view, homely food, calm and lovely atmosphere contribute to made it a wonderful day. I really appreciated my friends for choosing the place _Canopy _Kallenchery resort in Kumbalangi. Its very good place for such gathering.at minimum cost.

It's after a very long time I got an opportunity to meet all my friends at this wonderful place. The resort is very nature friendly. It's nearby the lake and the view from the resort is refreshing. Food was also tasty. I'll definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

It was a family trip with 8 of us along with our pet. Village Canopy made 2 days memorable with scenic beauty, very friendly staff and good food. Serene and peaceful surrounding with meadows and hammock facing backwaters. It is just relaxing.

I visited Village Canopy on a monsoon weekend. The experience was surreal. A little, cozy place like home opening to the beautiful backwaters. The place is beautifully maintained. Dinner was served at an outdoor facility adjacent to the backwaters. Rooms were spacious enough for us and super clean too. Martin chettan and family have done a great job of finding the perfect balance between home stay and resort. Food was amazing. The place is known for sea food. You get fresh fish and other meat too. Williams, the staff member there, was a good. I must say, my weekend with family at Village Canopy was the highlight of my vacation.

I am going there every single time I visit Kochi. If you are looking for a quick getaway to refuel your body, mind and soul, Village Canopy is your place.

PS: the facility attracts a lot of international travelers. It makes sense to book weeks before your travel.

A great place to spend your vacation/staycation. The location is calm and full of greenery. The host is amazing and any problems of yours would be solved right away. The food here is a treat! Hands down one of the best and would highly recommend to try the cuisine over here. This place also has great spots nearby where you can have fun and relax. The rooms are well maintained and the service is nothing less than a five star hotel.

I had a nice weekend along with my friends there. The service was so good and the Hospitality was excellent. We had a mesmerizing sunset view from there and the backwater was clean and We even had a fishing there. Totally it was a wonderful experience and I'm sure that you won't regret it if you're looking for a couple of leisure days along the banks of Cochin.
