Beautiful property by the lake.
Amazing ambiance, great hospitality, kids friendly. The staff was very professional and fulfilled all our needs. The swimming pool was very clean, rooms were also tidy.
Overall experiance was exceptional.

The largest church gathering, located at Hebbal, on the Airport Road.
Day by day the church growing steadily with people from different walks of life.
There various services including teens.
Pastor Johnson Varghese serves as the pastor incharge from the time of inception.

Truly one of the best resorts in Wayanad; I can't recommend it enough! Vistara by the Lake Resort in Wayanad is an absolute gem! Its stunning location offers awe-inspiring lake views, setting the tone for a serene getaway. The rooms are immaculately kept, and the service is unparalleled; the staff goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. Dining here is a delightful experience with a tantalizing array of local and international cuisines.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vistara Resorts in Wayanad, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine desire to make my stay unforgettable.

It was a nice experience at Vistara Resort. It started for us with a very warm welcome. I would really like to mention the location. Calm and beautiful.we loved it. Karappuzha dam is nearby, so that the view is amazing.
My children enjoyed the place with a little play area and swimming pool made them more happy. The pool though is not a big one, is beautiful and feel closer to nature. More over there is live music and campfire everyday. The indoor play area has many options including gym. They also provide bicycles for children for a beautiful ride.
The most important highlight is extremely polite and courteous staff who made our day very satisfying. We are happy with the services provided and the facilities. Also the food had different choices and tasty too.especially breakfast.
Special thanks to Manager Bijo, he handles everything and treats the guest very well. We enjoyed our day in Vistara. I would like to go there with my friends and family one more. I also suggest other people to go to the resort and enjoy their day there. Thank you all the staff and management for making our day enjoyable.

It was one of the best places I have been to so far. Divine and homely ambience amidst the beauty of nature combined with the hospitality of all the staff made us feel at home.

Great place. We had team outing.rooms have fantastic view especially 503 room number. Food is good and staffs are courteous.

Only negative was the super slow service, it takes them a good 45mins to prepare a starter dish and that too arrived after reminding them.
Its on the expensive side though, 20% lesser tariff would make it excellent value proposition!

The location is excellent, its the karapuzha dam back water. The rooms were huge, had a big balcony. The the room had huge window with excellent view of the backwater, but they were divided into 3 section (refer the pic) wish it was one un-restricted view with a huge single window pane! The balcony was big and had nice views of the backwater too. Even the bathroom had a view of the backwater:)
The room was clean, had a fridge, 2 bottles of RO water, tea/coffe & kettle. The bed was a huge and could easily accommodate 3.

The morning breakfast spread was nice with chole & chana, idli & vada, pancakes, 2 fresh juices, cereals. We chose ala-carte for dinner & had complained about a dish and we were not charged for the same.

The property is beautiful, the restaurant has a excellent view of the dam backwater, there was big lawn and a small children play area. The swimming pool was nice & clean and also had a section for kids too. There was a activity room with TT table, treadmill and few other games.

This is a beautiful property by the lake. The location is perfect and accessible easily. We got the booking done by Mr. Kannan from vacation club. He has always been very helpful and give the right advice on the best time to travel to Wayanad. I was introduced to Mr. Bijo once we arrived at the resort. He was well briefed of our arrival and was very quick with the check in process. The entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Mr. Bijo took special care in suggesting us places to visit and always ensured we were well taken care of during our entire stay. It was also my Birthday and along with my wife they had planned to send across a birthday cake at 12am along with two beautiful candles on the birthday eve. I really appreciate this gesture and will always remember this hospitality. Not to forget they also have a very helpful chef who prepared a dish as per our request for my 3 year old daughter. The housekeeping staff was impeccable while cleaning our room and kept the common area well swept as it was raining the entire day. On Saturday night they had a guitarist perform in the evening along with dinner. It was a perfect setting of good music, lovely buffet and beautiful view by the lake. Not to forget the food very good. I am glad I chose Vistara resort to celebrate by birthday as it felt like family in this beautiful resort and very caring and helpful staff.

First the Staff is very friendly with their guests and the food is very good. The only thing I did not like was the maintenance of the bedsheets and pillows, if that would have been better then it is a very good resort. Also I forgot the Resort should have sufficient sign boards for more recognition and the road near the resort should be widened. Thank you
The most friendly staff was Mr Bijo.

The resort is placed in an excellent location right beside the Karapuzah reservoir. A short detour from the main road, although mud road can be bit tricky in rainy season. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Rooms were comfortable and we'll maintained. We had certain concerns with restroom faucet and they immediately changed the rooms without blinking an eyelid. Restaurant food is tasty and good. Breakfast had a good range of items with blend of local cuisines. Ha d good time at the swimming pool and games room as well. Definitely recommend staying at this resort.

Vistara is located on the picturesque banks of Karapuzha dam reservoir. We were a group of 7 including a toddler.booked 3 lake facing view. The views from the rooms are breathtaking. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The facilities were well kept and the pool was neat and clean. Breakfast and lunch spreads were good and tasty. Overall great experience.

The location’s view is absolutely beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Mr. Biju literally planned our whole trip for us and helped us have a smooth and memorable vacation. Fantastic to see such courteous and humble employees.

A small hotel with three ground plus one cottages, that are not maintained and are below grade 2 level hotels. Absolutely basic with no ambiance except for a nice view from the balcony. Scary insects are seen at night.
The bathroom is not worth even commenting.
After showing our unhappiness, they shifted us to a newly built wing that was ok.
There is no open space around except for a small green lawn in front of restaurant. The location is remote and reached by a unpaved narrow road
The restaurant has the same food items unchanged every day, no variation
The only plus point is a very good view of the lake from the green lawns.

The ambiance and the food are very good. The rooms are well maintained and the service is indeed praise worthy. They take care of you from the moment you enter their premises. Very satisfied with the stay.

Truly personalised experience that normally one wont find in typical resorts. Views are great and the resort offers campfire option along with bbq and karaoke music for a nominal fee.

The resort is located on the reservoir lake of kazhapura dam. Location is a bit secluded but the view from the resort is serene. They have indoor and outdoor sports. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway if you are looking for a calm and cozy experience.

We had a very good stay. Great Service, Food was really good, clean and tidy atmosphere. We had got a chance to attend their new year banquet party. Loved everything there.
Our only suggestion is to keep the kids play area little more safe. And we found the staffs over there was so receptive and they are happy to hear our suggestions.

Awesome place to stay near the lake. It is a bit off track but the location is worth it. The staff are very courteous and helpful. Me and my wife stayed there for 3 nights and they made sure our stay was comfortable. There was no wifi during our stay but it didn't matter to me as we were actually there for vacation and disconnect.

It is an awsome place to be. A quiet and a serene place, with a beautiful view of the lake. An amazing place to wake up to and a wonderful people around. Bijo and his team were extremely pleasant in their approach and also had provided all the help required. Suggested visits to nearby places and help planned the activities. Out into the resort, a self sufficient place in case you want to relax and just spend time away from the city. I stayed for 3 days and loved the great place. I would suggest to definitely try this place, if ever have a chance to visit Wayanad.

What was good:
The staffs were really helpful and friendly. The room was good and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the dam reservoir. I got a nice room which has good balcony view. I felt like a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was amazing. I couldn’t take a Timelapse videos of sunset because of second day was cloudy. I would say the location of the resort is at the one of the best place of wayanad. Our stay at the hotel was for three days two night. They will serve food into our room without charging anything extra. Prices was reasonable. Overall I’m satisfied and recommend for others.
To be improved:
The breakfast time is from 8.30. But we got only at 9AM which is too late. Options in Restaurant menu are limited. Pool time is only evening. They won’t allow in the day time, Which was disappointing.

One of the good resort in wayanad, the price is little expensive, other service all are good, the is a public swimming pool its also good, we got more facilities like play area which can play different types of games, the play area is small, overall good one

Nice place to stay and the hospitality was really nice there. Food is a bit costly still. But within 5 km there are hotels. Gaming area is also accessible to the visitors. Pros: professional service, polite servers.neat and clean interiors with mellow lighting, pretty comprehensive menu. Perfect for a quiet meal with family and friends.food was served warm and it was tasty. Cons: food takes an awfully long time to be served so it can get a little unnerving for families with small kids.we waited a long long time for just tea, soup and two snacks.overall on the expensive.

It was a pleasant stay at Vistara. A special thanks to my friends for arranging the stay at Vistara. All the arrangements made for us were very special especially the candle night dinner. The staffs over there were friendly and always at our needs.

After a lot of hustle, my decision of booking a room here was a great call! Great comfort, lovely location and friendly and helpful staff. I had booked the sea view suite. The staff also arranged authentic breakfast on demand, they were also helpful in getting us transport facilities. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.

It was my first experience in wayanad resort. I have no words more to say about visthara resort.it was very amazing experience. Place was so calm and quite. The rooms and property are well maintained. It was totally the best courtesy while they recieve us. All staffs are very polite and well served us their amazing food.view of karapuzha dam was the main highlight to say. Its so pleasent.

It was excellent.the ambience, the people, the food, the surrounding nature.everything fantastic! We cherish the two days we spent there. The service provided by the staff, especially Mr. Bijo is extremely laudable! We remember Mr. Ajith also in this regard.

Writing from the heart ️, it was the best decision I took! I booked Vistara as surprise for my husband and I should tell, from very tiny matter, the staff and manager took at most care. They are all down to earth and the service is really appreciated! The candle light dinner they arranged was beyond my expectations! Would definitely throw a visit again. Kudos team Vistara

It's a great place for a weekend getaway. For those who r looking for a home away from home, this is ideal. The soothing silence of the river adds to the vibe of the place. The karapuzha dam is just a stonethrow away. Not for ppl looking for jingle adventure. The Hospitality is just incredible. And the food is a gastronomic experience. Most importantly the internet is great. So take ur laptops and settle down for a purposeful and yet pleasure filled weekend.

We stayed at Vistara resort for One night with our 1 year old son and it was a truly memorable weekend for us. The location of the resort is near to the Karapuzha Dam Lake and the morning & evenings are really good for the scenery. Rooms are very spacious and neat & tidy. Food was tasty too and our little one didn’t have any problem with the stay or the food. The Hospitality of the resort was exceptional, esp with Mr Bijo PM, who made things very easy for us. Room service, Restaurant service everything was on time and nicely arranged. Pool was also neatly maintained and the lesser depth areas were really good for the kids to enjoy.

Last and not the least, I has a surprise birthday party arranged by the hotel team which made our stay more memorable. I would recommend this resort to anyone visiting Wayanad with family or friends. And the considering the hospitality of these resort staff, it is well deserved 10/10!

My Husband and I were fortunate enough to stay on Vistara Resort. I actually don't know where to start on my reviews as it was all so wonderful. Absolute charmer!
Be it the location, the resort itself or the service.
I went there as a couple in Feb 21 and stayed there for 2 days along with 2 more couples.
The things which I liked about this place are:
- the location which is serene and rejuvenating
- we booked sky villas, they are huge and comes with an amazing view of the lake.
- the food is really great and the prices are reasonable but the options are limited.
- the service is just amazing, all the staff members are way too courteous and they know what hospitality is. Mr Bijo was constantly in touch with us and he made sure that everything is in order.

Couple of things to know about the place:
- if you are planning to work from this place then you can go ahead as there is a decent network connectivity here. We had airtel and jio and both of them were working fine, we were able to take calls and all. Also, the hotel wifi is there which again is decent but can be a problem when there is a rush.
- this place is easily reachable by any car, there is some 1 km of off roading though which is doable.

This resort is located right in front of the lake and is surrounded my mountains, which is its main attraction. This place is so serene and peaceful. Room and overall resort is well maintained and clean. Food is very tasty and prices are quite reasonable. I have selected lake facing sky villa and spent a lot of time sitting in the balcony and enjoying the beauty of lake and mountains. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly and they took good care of us. Specially the manager Bijo, who took very good care of us and suggested nice places to visit and buy local spices. Surprisingly they also arranged a candle light dinner which was even more generous of them. I didnt face any challenge during my stay. This resort is one of the best place to stay in Wayanad and enjoy the nature.

Ambience: All rooms have cozy balconies facing the dam reservoir. Rooms are kept neat and washrooms are big and maintained well.

Customer Service: Good, polite and helpful team and management

Food: Tasty like home made, varieties too.

Facilities: Pool and play area is good.

Mobile Connectivity: Normally remote places like the location of this hotel will not be having good connectivity. But here there's good connectivity - so you stay connected to your work or social platforms.

The view of the lake is to die for. You must spend 2-3 days when you come here. The pool too is just wonderful. Beautiful place to visit with family and/or friends.

Go there for the view and cleanliness, not for the service and food. I was astonished as I had read great reviews about the food and service but was immensely disappointed. If you call the staff for any request you have over the intercom, the standard reply will be-“I’ll get back to you”, however they will never get back to you

This place is a hidden gem. It's so serene that it can't be explained in words. Every room has an exquisite view of the lake and there is absolutely no noise except the birds chirping. The views from the room are to die for. They have a nice lawn where you can just sit and read a book all day long.
The access road is a bit bumpy but once you get to the resort, it all feels good. There's not much to do around the place but if you are looking for a place to just unwind and relax, this is the one.
They serve evening tea with pakodas which were very nice. Food was good too. Overall, a very nice place to visit with family.

Good resort in the outskirts of ambalivayal.surrounded with the greenery and backwaters.we chose the lake view room and enjoyed the scenery which was covered by mist. Food was good and had candle light dinner beside the pool. Indoor games were not upto mark, pool was well maintained but need to improve the ambience.they'll offer cycling in the premises, room service was great and staff were very helpful and friendly too. Brijesh the one who served us was very polite and friendly. Overall experience was good.

Vistara is bang on the lake. Had a great time admiring the wonderful sunsets behind the hills that were beyond the lake, right from my room's balcony. The scene was equally enjoyable from the restaurant, at the pool and I believe, throughout the property.

Loved the spacious and clean room and bathroom. The restaurant served a good spread for the included breakfasts. I liked the dinner spread too. Skipped lunches due to personal preference.

The staff were exceptional, very kind. Rajesh Pillai, General Manager, and his team went out of the way to accommodate our special needs during our stay at the resort. A very appreciative thanks to Rajesh and his team.

I was very surprised by the bugs and insects free environment in a garden setting by the lake, kudos on that front too.

Fire gazing by the camp fire with music and activities for kids was wonderful.

Overall a awesome, happy stay at Vistara.

This place is piece of heaven, set besides lake and absolute mesmerizing view of hills. What more u can ask for
