Most accomodating, very comfortable stay here at the Taj Vivanta staff in all departments were very polite

I chose this place because it was located in the center of town, and being owned by Taj, I expected a certain level of class in the service. However, I have to say that this place provided one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in a 5-star hotel in Trivandrum or any other Taj location. I believe that the management at this location is incompetent and lacks the ability to train their staff in customer service.

I had a specific issue that escalated into an insulting experience for me, and the person who came in as the duty manager could barely speak English, making communication difficult. Despite warnings from my clients about the poor customer service at this location, I still chose to stay here.

I also had issues with the room cleaning. I had to remind them twice in a row to replenish the toilet paper rolls in the bathroom, and it seemed like they were stocking half rolls, judging by the size of the toilet paper rolls.

We choose to stay at such places and pay a premium for the service, and when that service itself is lacking, it's truly disappointing. I have no plans to return to this location in the future.

My relatives and I stayed at the Vivanta hotel from Aug 4-6, we had an excellent experience during our stay. Ms Surya was excellent with her customer service during our check-in process, very prompt and efficient. Mr Prashob ensured Our rooms were very clean and bottles of water always replenished. The restaurant service and food was excellent with lots of choice. Mr Maheesh & Mr Amal provided us top service in the restaurant and was very attentive. Each day Mr Nazeem always gave us a warm welcome and ensured our stay was pleasant. The staff at the hotel provided us world class service. I would highly recommend Vivanta anyone travelling to Trivandrum.

I booked this property to redeem with an SBI gift card. Initially, there was some confusion and issue regarding coupon redemption, but after interaction with Mr Nazim Operations Manager, everything turned around with great satisfaction.
Customer satisfaction is made by the people working with the property, not by the Hotel's building. This was well-proven by Mr Nazim.
He not only ensured our comfortable stay but also supported us in Swami Padmanabham temple darshan.

He always tried to provide the extra mile support.

Great property. Close to main part of city. 10 min drive to Padmanabha Swami temple. Property is new. Staff is curteous. Only drawback is service is slow. Else it is a great property

It is a great hotel and has all the amenities and comfort of a five star hotel.
What sets it apart is the support provided by the management. My kid had an Asthma attack in the middle of night and the management went out of their way and helped in procuring the meds in the middle of night that too complimentary.
Would recommend and appreciate them hands down.

I stayed here for 2 days with my brother for a meeting at Trivandrum. The food was good, the service was clean and the service guy named prasobh did a very well job in cleaning our room and had a smiling face throughout the end
People like this gives us a nice vibe and very helpful for ur hotel society so make sure you guys give him a upgrade!

Had a pleasant staying experience at Vivanta. Food was good and staff was very courteous. The breakfast buffet was also pretty amazing. We’ll connected to railway station and airport. Definitely recommend for your business travel.

This hotel is under Taj management so every facility was extraordinary and kept the standard.

The view of trivandrum town from the pool at the top of the building was fabulous.
Food served from here is pure and healthy and also it tastes so good.

If you are coming to trivandrum Vivanta is the best place to stay.

The hotel is too complicated with check in… the manager is shrude and non cooperative … They have made a very xomplicated process to chknin which is totally uncalled for in a so called five star…they kept us waiting for 30 minutes at midnight for no reason
