Warmth Lake Haven

I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at the so-called "Warmth Lake Haven" for a family get-together which happened last December 2023. We have booked 6 Rooms by spending around INR 40K overall, " and I should say that the experience was so horrendous. From the moment we arrived, the experience was a series of disappointments that left me questioning the very concept of customer service. The room was a disaster, and it was marred by an astonishing lack of cleanliness and an overall disregard for basic housekeeping standards. Regarding the bathroom facility, we encountered the shockingly unclean state of the toilet in our assigned rooms, as the condition of the facilities was not only unsanitary but also a stark violation of basic expectations for a resort of any standard. It took an unexpected turn for the worse when we discovered the alarming state of the water supplied to the bathroom in our rooms. The yellowish tint and overall lack of cleanliness left us with a bitter taste and a lasting impression of discomfort. The abrupt loss of electricity not only disrupted the overall atmosphere but also left guests stranded in the literal and metaphorical dark. Don't expect any wonders for food at the restaurant, it was an equally terrible experience for the whole members.

In conclusion, my stay at "Warmth Lake Haven" was a complete disaster. It was a place that lacked the most basic standards of hospitality and cleanliness. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at this so-called "resort" to think twice and explore other options. It's a prime example of false advertising and a disregard for the comfort and satisfaction of paying guests.

Very good property good staffs well respected, food also good I recommend this property, very maintained gardens full of plants and Lilly. Lovely one

Wonderful place with very cordial and respectful staff, suggest, find some solution to the insects flying around after sunset thus hamper our enjoyable sitting outside late into the night.figure out how to approach your site without any bumps from that narrow lane.rest assured all in all a superb environment to enjoy the backwaters

Worthy for money. Best location to stay. Hotel staffs are very supportive. They gave us warm welcome with kerala traditions that we will remember forever.

Door of the hotel was like plastick door, The water was coming from river and water was not good, There was to much mosquitoes in the room, way toward hotel was to much dirty, There was poisonous ant in the hotel.

The tranquility of the backwaters was further enhanced by the rustic but comfortable room with a balcony that opened up onto the water itself. A charming place with a great hospitable team of staff who were very helpful in indulging us. Highly recommend this hidden gem if you seek a serene and quiet place to relax & enjoy the beauty of nature.

We stayed on 07th sept 2022. Rooms are good. Bathroom worst. Broken commodes. Infinity Swimming pool is just like a water storage tank. Not a swimming pool. Food rates are too much. They charged 500/- per head for onam sadhya with limited curries and pickles. The only ambience is the lake view cottages. They are too nice. Good for a single day stay. Also they charged 1500/- extra for extra bed for my daughter without providing any extra bed or intimation of the same. Room service is very poor. We will have to wait for 01 and a half hours to two hour's for a tea which spoiled the whole evening. Worst experience in above aspects. Be precise in dealing with this group. Thanks satish.

Warmth lake heaven is located far away from the city and the roads to reach the property are very bad. Food is not great. The lakeside view is good for relaxing. Good for having some family-time. I stayed here for one day.

One of the best backwater resort in Alappuzha. Complementary breakfast is worth. They have batminton cort, bat, cricket bat etc.boat peddaling and swimming pool is also nice. We can definitely spend atleast 2days with friends and family.

Lovely peaceful resort with private balcony rooms opening right into the backwaters. The entire resort opens into the backwaters and you can see houseboats, little boats and the flora and fauna floating by from your bed or from the pool and garden area. The rooms are clean and tidy with AC provided. Must stay for families. Better option to being cooped up in a houseboat all day with all the views from a houseboat provided here.

Excellent place to stay!

The day we came the climate n drizzles made us the way to this beautiful heaven.
Everything is so good except the road towards the resort- its a bit confusing.

Best place for one night stay

Nice service. Even little needs are well attended. Good food. Nice view of back waters. Offer boat rides. Pedal boats are free to try. Approach road for last 600 metres unpaved narrow path. May be problematic for big cars.

Only good thing was that the balcony opens to back waters. Views are good from a lake view room.
Location: Place is located in a remote village. Anything you want to do outside of the resort, you must travel 10 KM.yes 10.approach road is unimaginably narrow and bad. Don't risk driving yourself ; you may end up in Kerala back waters ON your car and not a boat. Staff: Most of the staff members are new.they dont have much idea even about simple things like the nearest house boat point ; how to get warm water in the bathroom. They are courteous and try their best to help though. Food - Just ok.pricey for the quality Facilities - Basic intercom doesn't work. Extra beds are just kept outside of respective rooms. Swimming pool is not that clean. Overall.it is not worth the effort and the money. Their management must pump in money to upgrade.

Rooms, food and the service were great! Had a very pleasant stay, lovely atmosphere. The whole place was clean, swimming pool was neat. Just ONE ISSUE: the road leading to the hotel is too narrow (only one car at a time). Otherwise it was a pleasant experience ️

A serene & calm retreat to stay in alleppey on backwaters. Every few minutes we experienced a house boat passing by from the comfort of our room. We had booked the place for two nights, three days. The location, the service, the staff are impeccable. Kiran & his team are extremely helpful & friendly. The food too is highly recommended.

Our hotel stay was quite good.we were kind of in lap of nature.the views, ambience everything around is very beautiful.the management is kind and polite.we enjoyed our stay here.will be back again whenever possible.

Resort is very nice and out of the city. Staff is courteous and are genuine, Food is ok as me being a vegetarian. There is nothing around in 5-10 kms as my son fell sick they procured the medicine in less than 2 hours. Bathrooms are little smaller comparatively.

We booked looking at the pictures which are still amazing but here comes the reality
Cons:
1. Not at all accessible, the entrance does not exist. We had to go via narrow road where barely 1 car can go. And this narrow road is for 10 min till we reach the property.
2. Not a 4 star property, this is maybe a weekend stay for the local people.

3. For people coming for vacation this is just a bad place to spend night.
4. The picture with backwater balcony that’s the only thing present there.
5. Food was worst with restaurant looking like a desi bar or the bars which were shown CID & AAhat shows.

Pros:
1. The staff was really good and manager was polite.

We booked Warmth Lake Haven resort for our one day stay in Alleppey. Scenic view from the resort in the evening is best. The resort is connected to Lake where you can also do pedal boating. We really enjoyed the boating in the lake. Swimming pool is also available on lakeside.kindof Infinity pool. We took breakfast option while booking. Food is delicious. We also ordered dinner which was awesome.
The only negative thing is location of resort which is few miles from town and to reach the resort you need drive through narrow road.

I stayed with family in lake view room. Location was really awesome, polite staff with smiling face. The only problem is way to resort.you can reach only by car/cab via bad path (no roads) if any vehicle comes in the opposite direction it's not easy to cross unless one vehicle goes reverse. But you can have good time with nature.

It has a typical classical Kerala type construction. It has a lot of activities like swimming, pedal-boat ride, indoor & outdoor games, children's park, etc. The lakeside view is good for relaxing. Rooms are hygeinic but needs more maintenance. Almost all services except those at the restaurant is good. At the restaurant, the ordered food arrived late. Good for having some family-time. I stayed here for one day.

Traditional type rooms like wooden ceilings, spacious, independent sit out areas. Lake front, pool facilities, pedal boats, play area. Should reach the resort during the day time. Roads are a little congested about 800 mtrs. If we inform them early then they will prepare fresh food. The complimentary breakfast was good. They provided fresh and hot preparations. If we want they will arrange motor boats.

The resort has an amazing ambience, cozy rooms and friendly staffs. I got neat rooms, all the provisions were already made ready before our arrival, didn't even had to call reception once. The ambience was great, beautiful yard, a lot of amenities, play area for kids and a swimming pool. The hospitality provided by the staffs where remarkable, the manager Mr. Kiran was very friendly and responsive. The only problem is with the location, if you are coming by train or bus, then you might want to keep another 3k for to and fro to the hotel, because no taxi is ready to take that trip, you would beleft with only hotel transport. If you are taking a personal vehicle then you would want to know that the road is bumpy very narrow for the last 1km, if another vehicle comes from the opposite direction then you will be stuck there with nowhere to move. Overall the hotel is good for a get away and if you plan to stay at the hotel only for the entire duration of vacation.

Hotel is at a very remote location. The access road is also an issue. The hotel has great views. You will forget the stress you took to reach there. Nice backwaters view. Food is not great. Staff is polite and courteous also will try to help you out in every possible way. Breakfast spread is very limited. Food menu is very limited.

This seems to be an old property but the rooms are in decent shape and resturant had very good food. Swimming pool seems to be a new addition or have under gone renovation

The location is kind of little remote the last 1 KM road is in very bad shape enroute also there are some road work going on

Had the pleasure of staying a night at this wonderful resort. The cottage that we got was neat and clean. The property is well maintained. The management was very kind and polite. The approach road being narrow might be only problem. But it’s only an 800 meter stretch. Highly recommended!

Amazing, serene place. You will feel that you are residing at your own island. Beautiful sunset across the backwaters. Pleasant and picturesque view of boats, shikaras crossing back waters every now and then.
Staff is very humble and carry a helping nature. Because it is secluded and away from main town, be informed that this will be your place for food, there are no other restaurants nearby but that is ok, because if you are coming here then do plan to spend a whole day relaxing, chilling and being.

An wonderful place for staycation and enjoying serene beauty of nature. The resort is located by a river bank and is full of greenery.

Completing our visit at Munnar, started towards Alappuzha (or Alleppey, a city of Kerala and is best known for houseboat cruises along the rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals and lagoons) after 2100 and booked a homestay by the beach but wasn’t satisfied about their amenities and booked this one.

It was raining when we reached there at mid night, a full moon on the sky, large trees, green grass, an astonishing ambience gave us wow impression, though the road to the resort was skeptic and uncomfortable (500 M mud road).

The nature itself will make you such happy, any cons will seem to you less important. Room size could be larger, buffet breakfast could have wide range of dishes but what else, we were there not for food but to heal our inner part.

The manager managed us a boat to have a ride on the boat and we experienced few heavenly moments there on the backwater river.

Highly recommending resort to visit.

Very nice scenery created by the huge lake around the property. Ambience is very nice and lively. Staff is very co-operative and supportive. Quality of food is reasonably good. But approach to the property is difficult as only one car can pass the last one kilometre and if any car happens in front of your car you have to reverse your car for about half kilometre to give passage.

Excellent place to relax.so close to backwaters and an awesome view.
Stayed in heritage villa which have good space and balcony with backwater view.
Good food and service.
Every staff is courteous.
Have parking space for around 7-8 cars.
The road to the resort.just 650-700 mts from the gate is in bad condition and need to travel off the road.

Good resort to escape from the city noises. Calm place. Sit looking at the pambayar lake from the comfort of your bedroom /balcony. Wake up hearing the chirping sound of birds. Nice rooms. Breakfast was huge with Kerala and English items. The road to resort from AC road is picturesque with kuttanadan paddy fields around. Included in the package was a short river cruise. Responsible & Friendly staff

Beautiful place for vacation with Family and Friends. Breathtaking view from the Lake-side cottage that we got, paired with tasty Indian and Chinese foods, outdoor Boating activities, Nature Walks and other small adventures for kids, made our stay heavenly. Great service. Young and old alike could enjoy the entire stay. We had Quality Family and Nature time. As the name states, a warm place for huge relief from the mundane.

The road to the resort is horrible, the resort is well maintained.
A beautiful resort, probably the best place to stay while in Allepey. If not opting for a houseboat stay. This is built right on the edge of the Alleppey backwaters am. The staff is extremely polite and humble. The Cottages are quite spacious and full of amenities. They offer a free boat ride for their guests and have awesome on house facilities for kids and adults.

A Beautiful stay option for family as well as friends. They have very well maintained property and rooms. The hospitality and the staffs there require a special mention as they ensure that we are comfortable. The food provided at the stay tastes really good.
I personally had a good time at the resort with my friends along with the refreshing and beautiful view of backwaters and also the serene environment.

The property is amazing and is a good place to spent some good time with friends and family. But, to reach there, its really hard. The road is too narrow and very difficult to reach the spot. Even gmaps will show you the route elsewere. I faced a lot of issues since i was driving at night. Would recommend to reach the property before sunset if you are traveling with family.

It was an excellent time being a part of warmth lake haven. Which I am not going to forget in my lifetime. I'm just spellbound. I wanna experience the ambience again and again. Keep going team warmth. More love. WLHR

Nice place for a big recreational Family outing. A combination of Mesmerising Scenic Beauty, boating, reading and other games and nature related activities for Young and Old alike. Good Wifi connection. Excellent service, especially with planning the wonderful outdoor activities. The Indian, Chinese, etc food here satisfies the palates people of all age groups in the family.
