Need an improvement in nursing and pharmacy please give medicines fast in rooms and after discharge

Worst experience with mertrina pharmacy staffs. They're busy with something else when i given my prescription. I'm writing here coz third time I'm experiencing the same. 2-3 person working for one prescription and the rest of the people are waiting at the same time.

Pathetic in patient management. Requested for room cleaning multiple number of times for blood spilt in room, and there is no response from anyone. I made a call to reception and still no response from the team

Good hospital with truly assisting and supporting staff.

I visited the hospital for my wife’s delivery, from the admission to discharge all the admistrative process are very smooth and transparent.

The doctor and nurses in the gynecology dept is very supportive and caring. Nurses treated her not like a patient like their daughter. Doctor will neatly explain all our doubts and guided her for a smooth delivery. Really a good gynec team. The bill is also reasonable.

And there are some areas Needs improvment
1. Pharmacy is not upto the mark, some medicines are not available there eventhough it is prescribed by the doctor in same hospital. Not even new born baby diapers, glucose powder and sanitizer
2. Canteen is not clean and food is average only
3. Walk way to parking ground.

OP Doctor services are good. Vehicle parking especially bike parking is tedious. No sufficient space need to park outside the compound.

Highly professional doctors and Excellent service by nurses and other staff. The entire hospital provides appreciable hospitality to the patients and their bystanders.

One of the best hospitals in Palakkad Near Mercy College.
Quality is at its peak.
All the staffs are polite and friendly and takes good care of patients.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and have scenic view to outside.
Quite comforting atmosphere for patients.
Lot of parking space and there is no rush at all.

This was good hospital near our area and was good service but today I feel too bad because I went there with high fever and gave us bad experience. Also the treatment of the lady duty doctor in emergency department was very worst.

I must say that I was extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism I received. The doctors were highly skilled and knowledgeable.

Why there is no physiotherapy department? I am keen to know when it will be opened, as i go to many hospitals for the same, and i was treated by freshers who doesnt have good experience in the field and i dont find any better. It would be great to open with well experienced staffs.

Good hospital, accessibility is good, staffs are cooperative and answering to all the queries.

Bad experience from the gynecologist Dr. Shailaja. Instead of treating PCOD with lab tests and ultrasound, the qwack doctor adviced some naturopathy medicine. She further personal attacked my life choices and said all disease is in my head. Thanks but no thanks.

Based on my experiences, the hospital provide good care and treatment for the patients. They are true&fit to the Name 'Welcare'. 24×7 casuality&Pharmacy service available. They provide best services to their patients. Once when my grandmother was admitted due to an heart attack, they provide best treatment&care for her. At first she was admitted in CCU and we could visit her once at visiting time, and after when she was shifted to room we could experience all time nurse availability, 2 time a day Dr visit (and sudden visit at any time in case of emergency), cleaning staff Services etc.
The lab facility provided there is good&fast, best hygienic canteen, Parking&security services also available.
The hospital also provide better OP facility with reasonable fee compare to other private hospitals.

Would say the name itself speaks, " Welcare ". The visit to hospital on late
night of 24th Feb by my wife Girija proved it. The care and friendly/ affectionate gesture by the attending doctor and staff was such that, we felt WELCARE word fits.

No In-compund parking. Lab doesn't work as they says it is 24 hours. Went to lab for blood test on 6th March Early morning 545AM and waited till 6, noone showed up.

No proper coordination for vaccination. They don't accept any digital payments. Takes only cash. You are left alone to find the payment ways, waiting areas etc.no one to guide or control.

Good service and treatment for Covid19 patients. Doctor visits the patient 2 times in a day. Very caring and listen to the patient's problem and understand. Sister's in the ward are very friendly. I was in hospital when my MIL was admitted due to Covid19. Usually Bystanders are not allowed with Covid19 patients, Since MIL was not well and I could take the risk of staying the hospital authority allowed me to stay to take care of her during any emergency situation. Because of the best treatment of the Doctor and the nurses MIL recovered within 4 days of admission and Doctor suggested to take rest for another 3 days considering the Covid Quarantine. After 7 days MIL was tested negative. Even I went through test and I got negative. The billing process was quick and the report was also given very quickly. Thank you so much Welcare hospital Authorities for giving us the best service.

Im writing this review based on my experience to visit Dr jeen Chakkarakkal Paul (M D general medicine.) I reached along with my mother for consulting at 10: 50 am. We were given the 1st token and told that doctor is at rounds and will be back soon. We are at the op even when I write this at 12: 53 pm still they are not able to tell when doctor will arrive at O P. One of the worst experience I Had.

Very very worst hospital ever seen.bad experience. They have the least educated doctors & nurses. Nobody please go there, you will loose your lives.

Review based on my experience to visit Dr jeen Chakkarakkal Paul (M D general medicine.) 9 AM called to the hospital to book an appointment but they told me to come directly and take token OP time is 9 AM to 12 PM, I reached along with my father for consulting at 10: 26 AM, told that doctor is at rounds and will be back soon.many patients are waiting at the op, even when I write this at 1: 10 PM still they are not able to tell when doctor will arrive at O P. One of the worst experience I Had.

Had pleasant experience consulting doctors here. Final bill amount was reasonable compared to other private hospital.

New management was and the doctor are good as well and the prblm is parking but there's space for parking but it's very small.need to increase parking area.and a good hospital with new machines as well and everyone go there.

One of the worst hospital i had ever visited. Doctors are not available and the show is run by nurses. Even by luck, if you get to see a doctor, they're not bothered to explain the situation of the patient. Even in case Theof ortho related issues like fracture, the patient is checked by only nurses. And they give you list of items which will cover all the machine checks available in this hospital. Even the patient is also treated like a vegetable and discrimination exists. The bystander is asked to sit in the visitor lounge which is full of mosquitoes in the evening. Pls don't visit this hospital. If you come as bystander, chances are that you will be admitted here as next patient.

Cleaning is done frequently in rooms. But beware of mosquitoes in rooms. Room charges are also high if compare with quality & size. Most importantly hospital never gives prescription to patients, they directly send it to their pharmacy outside the gates & they charge full MRP but 50 meter away there is a medicine shop which provides discounted medicines.
Ok in case of emergencies. Management of the hospital getting changed frequently which affects the quality & service drastically. Recently NIMS taken over the management, need to wait for service & doctors quality.

Worst out of the Worst! Two instaces which made me rate 1.1. When they checked the blood for whole body checkup platelet count was showing more than what a person should have. In that situation person should in the ICU/ dead by that time. We were asked to check the blood again to get the correct result. They apologised for what happend on that day.

2. This is an important point. Despite of repeated question by us regarding my father’s current situation Dr. Pradeep (Neuro Consultant) repeatedly said there is no issue with him. When we repeated the same questions he agreed to take an MRI scan. Later he found that his situation is critial & there is a heavy bleeding & blood coat in his head. He asked us to meet a Neuro surgen immediately. Thanks to God my father is fine now. But these kind of negligence may would have lead to worst situations.

Please do think of going to Welcare Hospital twice. If you don’t have any other choice & and if its an emergency please go for it.
