Very beautiful atmosphere and good room and the owner suggested us a plan to cover destinations around that is very helpful us to explore Wayanad and mostly the view from the balcony is amazing

Rooms are good and spacious. Here people are friendly and we can get outside food as well. They have campfire and kids playing area. The mountain view is refreshing from the balcony.

We 7 friends stayed 4 nights till yesterday in 2bhk flat in western ghats. It was a great experience - rooms, ambience and hospitality is so good. View from the room is really amazing and it is close to bus stop and Royal brothers rentals. We had a fire camp on the last night it was really great experience. No second thoughts go for it!

Wonderful view of Chembra peak from the balcony. Very neat and clean property. Friendly staff. Near to Kalpetta centre and Udupi pure veg hotel.

Western ghats holiday homes is a beautiful property. I booked a double room with a private balcony. Their service was great. The property is nestled at a good location with panoramic views.
For the sake of early check-in, they gave us a room a level below which didn't have a TV and that room's balcony had no proper views.
They are charging 100-150/- for breakfast buffet which was average (idli, toast, eggs) and the chutney tasted bad & runny (watery) along with tea/coffee.overall OK.
Zomato & Swiggy services to the property.
No shops nearby and you need to walk to the main road to get things.
They could have provided a better room at that price

In overall, good stay & experience, clean rooms and bathrooms, polite behaviour of staff and hospitality

Everthing was good but host Richard was outstanding, he helped us in so many ways like Planning trip, Pickup and drop, custom food so I recommend this property to friends and family mainly because of Richard.

I was there for two nights food was not good, they cleaned it well only but food was bad. They gave burnt paneer barbecue, literally burnt. Breakfast was good but dinner was bad.

The rooms are very clean and hygiene, staffs are very polite and friendly, mainly their food lovely. The views from rooms are really beautiful also the cafeteria view awesome place to have food.

Very disappointing stay! We had stayed here couple of times before when Lubina used to handle it and at that time it was all well managed.

This time the service and food was poor, though the Renny was very helpful and tried to do everything possible to get us whatever we needed, he lacked the experience or knowledge.

Usually we get breakfast included in the room rates but this time they charged us for the same but after we questioned it was later removed. Also they gave a unreasonable food bill which wasn’t even broken down properly.

We wanted to give this review as a feedback for the improvement of food and service. Thank you.

Yes room was amazing

Rooms are very good and Service is really nice. Manager and other boy was really helpful. If you want a stay with best view of hills and safety with good food, this is the option.

The hotel is a little higher than surrounding which the view outside even great. The room and services are great. They have bonfire with music for an extra Rs 2000. If on online platforms its showing fully booked, then also they might have 1-2 rooms available for offline booking.

Overall worthable to stay for vacation

Everything is good with this stay except for the type of booking we made. We sort of opted for kitchen but they’re not allowing guests into kitchen due to some local regulations it seems. Otherwise its a cool place to stay. A special mention to the location of the property, its like in the center for different attraction places.

Ultimate experience, one of the best stay where in we had the best hospitality. Staff and property owner/manager are very friendly and supportive.

It's an awesome place to stay in Wayanad on vacation. Rooms have awesome view of Chembra peak and greenery. Owner Richard is very helpful and humble. The housekeeping staff are also equally nice and cooperative. Together they will give you the warmth of a home stay and service of a professional hotel. I completely recommend it.

Wonderful views, very hospitable and friendly front desk and helpers, thank you for a great stay! Our only problems were:
- the washrooms hadn’t been properly washed before we stayed
- there were a few insects on the bed that looked like bedbugs. They were small and came out mostly at night and were crawling around, so we suspect they might have been bedbugs and not rain insets.

Apart from this, the stay was good - thank you!

The property is very well maintained and is admist a lot of greenery. It has all the fecilities nearby. The staff especially Richard is very welcoming and always ready to go out of his way to help. Highly recommend this property to everyone.

SCAM/FRAUD ALERT: This owner is extremely arrogant and tells me to do the full booking in advance and then tells he wants to hang up and call back in some time to confirm the same after looking at my booking from the website. Then he cancels the booking citing that I didn't do the advance payment. Looks like he thinks that there is no other place to stay in Wayanad. Don't recommend to pay any amount to this chap in advance. He will rip you off and cancel the booking and not refund you.

Its a very good place to stay while in wayanad. It has an awesome view and nice breeze coming from all around the corners. Apart from reception and breakfast related issues it is the best place you can find in wayanad. Probelm here is that the reception closes at 7pm you cant even get a bottle of water after 7pm.

Onee of the worst experiences i ever had.it is a large home modified into a home stay kind of facility.the owner and family looks like it's staying in the same property.it is very expensive, especially considering the facilities provided.the room was small compared to the description.the rooms has false walls, so careful while leaning on it, also we could hear people talking in next room, they could hear us also.only one mineral water bottle per day, no normal drinking water provided, you can get extra bottle by paying.that too of some unheard company.one small Medimix sample soap 2 shampoo sacjets were provided for two days for two people, the soap was over within one day.also tea coffee sugar milk powder was provided for one time.we were promised balcony and mountain view - there were no mountains, just houses, it was not any breathtaking view our anything.the balcony was common for 3 rooms.hot water is prepared on LPG.the smell from toilet enters room.the height of bed was too low for my comfort.dont know which intelligent mimd fixef the cloth hanger in the bathroom as there was gap between hanger and wall.there was only hand held shower, which sucked and not the normal one.there is no lift in the building, so difficult if you got room in higher floors.there is no restaurant, you can order food from restaurant and they will deliver, tie up with hotel.its a bit onterior with not much shops nearby.small paking area.kalpetta town is at a distance of 1km.staff looked confused and not polite.don't konnola hope to treat guests.we were totally dissatisfied with them.could have got many cheaper options with better facilities.booked this after seeing many positive reviews, may be fake or for cash.

Lovely and peaceful place to stay with amazing view. The morning view was beautiful. The rooms and washroom were spacious and very clean. The staff is very humble, welcoming and courteous and the host is very friendly and helpful. As she recommended, it was wonderful to experience traditional home made Kerela food items in breakfast. Overall really loved the place, staff and hospitality and would recommend it for sure. Locationwise also its convenient as its near bus stand. Great experience!

Great weekend getaway with outstanding service experience. Best stay I have ever been at this price range. Great homely food with neat clean rooms.

Bad place. It doesn't even deserve one star. Very bad service and facilities. No A/C, fan won't work with inverter. Very uncomfortable.

Once we bocked through online, we get ashamed by the management of property, reject our status of confirmed booking, with my family I returned from there at 7 pm,

We visited in the month of December and new property was being constructed which is with the old one. Construction was ON even till midnight 12: 30. Lot of Dust and Noise. Food was average and costly. No cafetria and Cycling. Campfire extra charge. Except stay all is extra charge. Overall average facility just like a hotel.

Below average. Too long from town and have to travel alot to reach the sightseeing and destinations. Rooms are not cleaned daily and the major problem we faced is unavailability of hotwater, hotwater facility was poor, it always has got some kind of issues. Food was at higher prices, campfire has got extracharge. Poor management also even the staffs doesn't know much about sightseeing places and all. Below average setup and cheap setup done at higher price go for some branded hotels than this.

Awesome experience! The King room has private balcony and the view from it is mesmerizing. The Staff is very cooperative. Manager Suma is a wonderful lady. She arranged room decoration for me. She guided for the visiting points in Wayanad and also gave information about good restaurants, Shops.

Great place to spend you holiday with atmost peace. Great view to please your eyes and the rooms were neat and perfect for the stay. Great response form the team especially Mrs. Suma was soo kind and was available all the time when u needed something and can't forget to mention about Mr. Akhil. Good hotel having spacious rooms with private balconies. View of western ghats from balcony is really beautiful and sound of morning bird's chirping is relaxing.

All amenities like hospitals, shops and restaurants are very nearby. We can even have food from outside if you don't like the food they offer.

They provided an electric kettle in the room which was very helpful especially in a cold morning and chilly nights.

We had their breakfast and it was good. They have menu for breakfast and dinner that varies from day to day. Its certainly not limited to dosa and idli only.

Special thanks to the staff who were really friendly and supportive. They will cleaning your rooms daily only upon the permission from guests.

Recommended place to stay especially for family for a comfortable stay at waynad and also for people who are staying in wayanad for 2 or more days as it is ideally located in the centre of all tourist spots.

It was a very convenient stay at Western Ghats. As it was a special moment for us the owners left no stone unturned to show their hospitality. Not only we were provided with the best view room but they made us feel home. The place is Neat and clean with all basic amenities that one looks for.

We really enjoyed our stay at Western Ghats Holiday Homes in Kalpetta, the owner is really friendly and helpful – and cooked us some delightful breakfasts and evening meals, as well as showing us his incredible plans for further development. The home is like an oasis of calm within Kalpetta, while our room was immaculately clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed. The view from the balcony is fantastic, and we really enjoyed eating our meals out there. If we’re ever in the area again we would certainly rebook.

We had a lovely time in Kalpetta and would definitely recommend this place for several nights! The owner is super friendly and helpful, he gave us a lot of information about the surroundings and helped us rent a scooter nearby. The breakfast that is included is very tasty and you can also get yummy dinner here. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The view from the (shared) balcony is wonderful, you can also have your breakfast there. If we ever get to kalpetta again I will come back to this homely place:) thanks a lot for the good times!

Amazing place for a hill station stay. Came with a group of friends and had so much fun. The scenic views from this homestay are breath taking and take you somewhere else in time. Great place to stay if visiting wayanad with very good hospitality.

A place with an excellent view and an awesome host. This place gives you the comfort and privacy along with a lot of space to relax.

Top floor has a sitting area which provides an excellent view of the valley.

Kids can play games as well. The host is very cordial and helpful.

The property does not have a lift, the only issue for old people or those who don't want to climb.

Overall, a very nice place.

Absolutely no privacy it is just an individual 3 floor house owners living in 2 nd floor & too interferening unwanted not professionally managed doesn't want guests to be awake & talk in rooms gallery beyond 10 p.m & before 8 a.m they get disturbed. On top of all no lift painful to take stairs all the time to 3rd floor. Rooms are made of partitions board can here every thing neighbours talk. Water pressure is not there takes 30 minutes to just fill 1 bucket of water.
Pros: food preparation is good homely but very limited to just 1 or 2 variety. Room view is good.
