Fantastic holiday. The place is fabulous. Food excellent and lots of choices. Rooms excellent and very comfortable. Staff wonderful and so heplful and kind. Swimming pool and lots of games. Have been there twice now and will certainly return in the new year.

Had a wonderful time in this serene place along with family members. Great hospitality, calm and peaceful atmosphere, clean pool and tasty food.strongly recommend for weekend trips with family and friends

My Stay with my Family in Whisper Waters was amazing and very nice. The ambience was very peaceful and full of energy with real nature without any stress of traffic, noise and zero pollution in the air. I could breathe fresh air. The food was very tasty and the overall hospitality of the management was very good. You have a waterfall close by where you can get inside and have a good overall body massage from the water which is splashing at you at a very high intensity and force which will make your body feel free from any body pains. But be cautious while getting inside the water. Must visit with your Family members to enjoy the beauty of nature

Such a hopeless, unprofessional & un-polite hospitality. 3 bookings were done, 2 in May 2023 and 1 couple of days back. But they claim they are not responsible for booking as its done through travel portal - Yatra, cleartrip so they cannot confirm the rooms. What were they doing since May 2023 without checking the inventory and why did they take additional booking 2 days back. Idiots. I haven't seen such a cold response from a hotelier in my extensive travel experience.

We celebrated my friend birthday at this beach resort, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make it truly special. Stunning views, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service. Highly recommend for any occasion. Can't wait to return!

One of the most pleasant resorts I have ever visited. The rooms and layout are well planned and constructed. Very well maintained rooms and washrooms. The aesthecis and serenity is maintained at every point of view. The pool facing view from every room balcony is simply astonishing and relaxing at the same time. I had spent 4 days here with my family and friends. It is an excellent place to spent time with your family and kids. They have separate play area and kids pool to entertain kids and infants. The food is really good. All items are freshly prepared and quite delicious. The most highlighting aspect of the resort is their staff. Every single person is so helpful and courteous. They are the real stars who makes your stay memorable. Very friendly and helpful people. Another plus is They have an in-house beer & wine parlour. You can buy beer, wine and cigarettes from here itself.

The resort is at the banks of Periyar river and it adds up to the aesthetics. The only draw back I felt is the route to get here is terribly bad. The roads are quite narrow and completely ruined. But once you get here, you wouldn't need to step out for anything and that's a huge plus. If you planning to do sightseeing when you are staying here, please do keep in mind the bad conditions of the public road. Also, they have a lavish space for parking but it's not a covered one.

I would highly recommend this place to families, especially for those who are looking to take your old parents and infants for a weekend away to enjoy some quality time.

A real monsoon vacation. We happened to visit the resort during a rainy period, and so we were unable to visit around nearby areas, yet our stay was very comfortable and the service was good.

Food had insects and hair and the pool had one frog. When we updated about food to the restaurant team, they just removed the plate instead of removing the entire dish from buffet and didn't even felt sorry for that

Located near Periyar river, whispering waters is ideal place to unwind.
Main drawback is the long narrow bad road from main roads. There is no escape to itt. But once u reach the place, u will forget it.

Service is superb. Food is on the good side, although I personally would have proffered more non veg options for the complementary breakfast

Cottages are separate buildings with 4 rooms in one building with small lawn in front.

Pool is big enough with kids pool. Deep end is only around 4 feet. Moms and kids can go to deep end.

Neat and we'll maintained kids park with trampoline, bicycles, gym, playroom etc

Rooms are spacious although we couldn't control A/c temperature. No remote. Manual control panel way more than 8ft high.

A beautiful place, on the banks of Periyar. Spent a weekend with my family (of more than 50) and we were taken good care of by the staff. Their reaction to a medical emergency was exemplary. All the staff were great and assets to the employers.
Food was excellent. Only negative was the wifi connection, speeds of which could be improved.

Located on the banks of periyar opposite to Malayattur Kurissumudi. Nice place for the weekend with family or for a small group get-together. Road to the resort from Perumbavur is quite bad. You will enjoy the natural surroundings and a good resort to relax.

Very Good Experience. Actually booked for a night but extended to 3 days. Food and stay was fabulous. Can have a peaceful stay from the busy world. River view was amazing, pool was maintained neat. Overall excellent stay.

Ambience - Perfect. Nice pool with a river flowing by the side of resort under the mountains, super green. Spacious rooms with balcony. If it rains you would get to know why it is named whispering waters.
Staff - Really good.
Not much to do outside the resort (other than a trek) but resort has got all that you'll need for 2-3 days stay.

Whispering Waters is located between Kodanad Elephant Rearing Centre and Thattekad Bird Sanctuary. Just a mere 30 minutes of scenic drive from the Kochi International Airport through cool green rubber plantations and rustic village roads will take you to this amazingly peace filled and unexploited part of Paniely Poru. The resort being the best event venues near cochin features 20 elegantly furnished rooms with private balcony, a large swimming pool, conference hall, multi-cuisine dining, and a host of other environmentally friendly activities along its picturesque river trails. The view of the foreground from any part of the resort is soothing and fascinating, with the flowing river in the front and the picturesque Western Ghats beyond. The compound is fairly large, providing plenty of space to walk around and enjoy raw nature. There is a well maintained garden (buffalo grass lawn) and tall teak trees form a cool canopy over the resort units within the compound. The large swimming pool can give you superb enjoyment and keep you refreshed especially on sultry days. The banks of the river provide excellent pockets to relax or enjoy picnics. Lovely stay. Good ambience, good vibe, excellent service delivery. Beautiful nature and river view, neat rooms and hygienic pool. And also the view of pool from the room balcony beautifies the hotel ambience more…Definitely, worth staying on your special days. I would really like to recommend.

The location is very good. Calm and quiet place. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Food was also up to the mark. Breakfast can be a little more better. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Monsoons are the best time to visit as you can enjoy the rain and sip on tea from your balcony.

I first visited this property 6 years ago. I should say they have very well maintained the property. What I could understand is the resort is presently run by the property owners directly and not on lease.

1. The rooms does require little renovations

Had a short stay at Whispering Waters with my extended family. Overall stay was pleasant. Food served was tasty even though there wasn't a huge spread. Rooms were clean. May be because of the weather, the floors were little sticky due to moisture.

Definitely a must visit resort if you are looking for one near athirapilly waterfalls. (Though its almost 2hrs away).
Calm and peaceful ambience with a scenic view of Periyar river very next to it. Swimming pool just adds to the fun.

The staff were very courteous and they were incredibly helpful. They helped me arrange a cake for our special day during our visit.

I would definitely rate 5/5 for the food that we had during our stay. We had taken ala carte for dinner and it was delicious.

Overall, the experience was great. The only thing I felt which needs a bit attention to is that that their indoor activities room was small as compared to other places I had visited.

This resort may not be big in size, but definitely big in terms of service, food quality and location. Recommended.

I had a wonderful experience at whispering water resort. Staff was incredibly helpful they provide very great and quality services. The room was clean and perfect to stay. Great location. We really loved the characters of the resort.

Whispering waters was a delightful experience. Had a wonderful time with family. Not so far from Ernakulam, a day to stay close to the nature. Even enjoyed the travel up and down, picturesque way when you near the resort.

I felt Staff strength need to be increased a little more for keeping up with the needs of the inmates and need to work on cuisine too, food was good only but not great i would say, but if you ask me, the resort was worth for the price they offer and our over all experience was good and its definitely a place to try.

One more thing, if i may add, try to avoid giving day out plans, as it will increase the crowd in the resort, which will spoil the tranquility and will find difficult to enjoy the amenities in the resort by the inmates.

Hope to visit again some day.

It was value for money, clean and good rooms and service. Safe to pre-order food, delicious dishes. The swimming pool is a plus, well maintained and not too deep. Felt good though we stayed only for an evening.

That was the worst experience so far.don't go there expecting Wifi, there is no such things as a good network connection. Ac's are only for name sake! It doesn't matter whtr u are 3 star resort. The smaller hotel will provide even much better services. In any case, no one should have such an experience again. Those who intend to take room there should consider. I personally wont recommend to anyone.

A decent place to hang out with friends or family. Delecious buffet at affordable cost. And an amazing pool. The resort may seem a bit small once you explore it but it is well equipee with facilities including a small gym and a games room.

First of all I belong to Mr. Ameen's family.
Now for your response I would say please don't play the victim card by saying staff's were jobless and all, coz even we and the whole world has been affected by the pandemic situation.
Now this is not the first time we are staying at a resort, every year we go to resorts atleast 3-4 times with full family so we know how the staff behave to us. And you said ac cant go below 22 degrees (is this a joke) fyi it was not working. Also most of the star hotels have duct ac now a days so please dont say that it wont go below 22 degrees. Because it was unused for so many months may be it needed some maintenance hence the mishap occured. Also the staffs behaviour was not polite. So accept your flaws and try to make it better rather than giving explanations, and try to improve your services. We have never given bad review about hotels or resorts but this is a result of ill-treatment by your staff. We came there for 1 day/night so it is clear that we were not there for staycation. As a resort manager you should be aware of your guests and their requirements and if you can't provide what the guest wants then you should not entertain the booking. So you need the business and cant accept your mistakes doesn't make any sense. Adhithi devo bhavah should be fulfilled in all aspects. Now about the revenge thing, we are people working and doing business in India and abroad and we know how hard it is in the current situation to run a business and we don't have any personal grudges towards you or your staffs. This reaction is just because of your actions. Please look into this as something that you can learn from and improve your business.

Not a good place for family with children. Not at all a good place for girls meetups too. The food was not good but costly

Me nd my friends choose this resort with high expectations. But we experienced a bad services from their side. I will not suggest this place for friends nd family get together particularly with kids.

Whispering waters resort is an excellent place to enjoy your vacation in Kerala. Wonderful rooms. Nice ambience. Food is superb. Staff are also good. They have bicycles, that also we can ride for free. To visit, the paniyeli poru has a river and forest area to walk. During rainy season when the water level rises, it will b good to see. On summers, since no water, it will b just rocks. But still good to walk through the forest on summers.

The epitome of disappointment. Apparently their air conditioners won't work if more than 4 people are in a room at a time, don't know which ac they use, but it was not working all throughout the night, and to top it off, lame excuses like these just added to our misery. The staffs there are definitely colder than the temperature there, my first time seeing "3 star hotel" staffs that are so uncooperative towards their customers. We had booked 5 rooms and we had problems with ac in 3 rooms. And we literally had to have a war of words to get the room changed to one with a working ac. Would advice to search up other alternatives unless you want to sleep in an ac room with a ac that doesn't work until it feels like working.

The staff at this property are all great! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. This is the perfect location for a weekend getaway in. Will recommend to my colleagues

Room service is not good.food is very costly and not worthy of the money. Not a good choice for the family with children

One of the worst experiences ever. We had booked 5 rooms and out of it 4 rooms had AC problems, when reported to the manager Aby he came up with stupid excuses. Poor hospitality.

" Disappointed " that's the only word I could come up with. The room that was given to us had a really damp smell. Even the Air conditioner was not working properly. The food served was also not that great.

It was a horrible stay with electricity problems at night. Our children started crying when the electicity gone off. The staffs were not so cooperative. The locations is not much near to the high way. The road was bad. It was Difficult to reach the resort. The restaurant had very less menu options. Not a good place to stay with kids and family.

Not a peaceful place to stay. Its not kids friendly area.some play items for the kids was not working. Not recommending for family stay. We can't sleep well because of some event management works conducted in night time.

I was here on 26 Jan 2021. The ambience is good. Rooms are well furnished. Service was miserable.had to beg three times to get a glass of hot water. Dinner lacked quality and was sub standard. Will not recommend to anyone.

Cool place with good customer service and facilities. Rates are affordable. And also the breakfast and lunch were superb. Well maintained atmosphere.

Calm and quite resort. Well removed from busy life. Excellent location and on the bank of River Periyaar. Well maintained and clean premises. Restaurant is not great but not bad as well. Reaching the resort might be tricky, but following maps works.

Was good.a bit remote. The staff was a bit overworked though as it seems they didnt expect the rush after the lull, though they did try to make up. But the shortcut of having buffets during these times with no a la carte was not a good idea, though didnt have much choice on both sides. The place was neat, but could be better anad the place was good, peaceful and quiet enough.
