Willow Heights Athirapally

I visited the resort and waited for Ayurvedic massage but only one person was available. So I couldn't find my slot.

Nice ambience n homely food n water front view pool, water front AC restaurent coming up near pool, with one story party place with fall view

Excellent location with wide view of chalakudy river and the hilly forest beyond. Ideal for small groups of 10-20 people. Food was good. They do grills and BBQ. Campfire on request. Pool was clean. The river wasn't in full flow when we went, so we could walk/hop acroos the streams and puddles in the river.

Nice place. Price also good compare to other resorts. Very clean and good service. River also very near it's so great to spend time. Food also very taste and good.very pleasant to enjoy.

It's a 12 room small hotel. You need to book food beforehand so that they can make it for you. There is very little dining space and no restaurant as such. Also, they have limited parking slots available. They do have a very small swimming pool. It is located very close to Athirapally water falls and the spot is really good. It is a bit overpriced compared to the rooms and facilities provided.

Pros:
1) great location…its about 1km from athirapally falls and quite easily accesible by road
2) clean rooms with a good view of the river
3) service provided was great by the staff in moving bags etc
4) breakfast was great

Cons:
1) dinner provided was ok
2) staff in kinda less informed on places of interest so do research on your end
3) if you plan to go off season the view of the river is “okay” at best due to less water

The location of the hotel is close to the river. Nice view from the room. Breakfast provided was delicious. Rooms were neat and clean. The hot water facility needs to be improved.
The bus stand is 250m from the place. Rest all looks good. It was a nice stay.

The room was clean and had a good ambience. View of athirapally from rooms and balcony area was awesome. The entire property was maintained with utmost cleanliness. Family friendly and the service was really good. The swimming pool view was awesome, you can enjoy the view of the river. Access to the river directly from the resort but be cautious during high flow of water. Price when compared to other resorts which are poorly maintained, this one is better.

Best hotel in Athirapally in terms of service, facilities, room, food and location. Top notch and family & kids friendly. Food is so good. Easy access to the river in the backside of the hotel.

Clean room and peaceful environment. Since it's solar, we don't get hot water for bath on evenings. Their swimming pool needs cleaning. Food was yummy.

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From the balcony, we could view the river and felt the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the athirapalli falls. River near the resort felt like a private, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. Excellent hospitality.

The location of this property is really excellent, can get into the river from the resort. Room quality is okay. The food provided was tasty and as per our wish. But overall the resort needs a makeover, which they are currently doing. The staff and chef are good. We enjoyed our stay.

Willow Heights, Athirappally is a resort located very near to Athirappally Waterfalls. There are numerous resorts all around the place, so you might be able to squeeze into one of them if you are planning to visit in a short notice.

We booked a deluxe room there. Went there around 3: 00 pm and straight away went to enjoy the falls. Came back in the evening and we enjoyed the nice climate. The resort is on the river side and that is an added benefit.

It also have a good but small swimming pool. (See the picture) We ordered Appam, Bhatura and Chicken curry. The chicken curry was good but it can be improved. There is not much to explore in the night time.

Morning breakfast was nice. We could see lots of families coming in and was enjoying the pool. Nice place to spend with family members or a couple of families. You might have the whole place for yourself while enjoying the pool and the river side too.

Having said all this, the road is kinda small but it is good. You might want to check with the concerned staff (who were certainly friendly and hospitable) if you are bringing a traveller or something. We had some trouble with the Phone in our room, but we could always contact the staff and they were eager to help us.

Overall a good place to stay and enjoy the weekend. The resort is just 1.5 km away from the Waterfalls.

It's very nice. Beautiful property near Athirapalli falls. Nice view. Nice Staff. My health was not good at midnight 1.30.staff help us. Very friendly ND helping staff. Clean room.

Th location is beautiful. Th staff is super friendly but the hotel infrastructure needs alot of work. It's a small hotel, perfect for a large group or a big family. The chef makes really good local food.

Visited the resort in June, the location is fantastic. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The Complimentary authentic breakfast served was awesome.
The rooms were clean and tidy.
Overall a very good experience.

We stayed in private balcony room.beds, bathroom, tv, and mini fridge. Satisfied with room. And food also good.food price is little heigh. Good ambiance and there is a publicpool.there is lake infront of the resort we can also go there and spend time with nature. If there is a kids play area it will be more enjoyable.

Great location, property needs maintenance. So many cracks n the building, some damages were there in the room. Swimming pool walls are full of algae. Dinner was good. Morning complimentary breakafast was only idiyappam and puttu which outsiders might not enjoy. Overall a decent stay. Needs lot of improvement

Best options for couples and bachelors. Right by the river with a great view. The rooms are mediocre but the location and the ambience is top notch. Food options are common but the quality is good, you might have to order couple of hours before. Pool facility is also good

Everything was fine until billing. Exorbitant additional charges at the time of checkout. Nobody take responsibility to discuss. The concerned person unavailable on phone and the whole team kept on wait indefinitely.

The service part is very poor.
Initially it was communicated 2500 per room and 2800 during the check out,
Also the behaviour from staff and management is very bad. From my experience is donot recommend the property to friends and family
