Wind Valley Homestay

First time I am stayed in Wind valley with my friends, but my friends second time, they suggested Wind valley.it was a very good experience for me very calm and Nature friendly atmosphere. Room neat and clean available in affordable price. Owner Vinayak and staff very supportive.

Rooms are very neat and clean. Recommended for family and group. Host and Owner Mr. Vinayak helps us to plan the sight seeing places nearby and Idukki. Good Hospitality. I highly recommend to book wind valley for an amazing stay. This is my Third time stay

Our stay was obsolutely wonderful and rooms were very well maintained. This is our first visit and stay at wind valley resort, Ramakalmedu but I felt like I have been there many times since the staffs and people are so friendly, welcoming and accomodating especially Vinayak bro. He made sure our travel to the nearby places, stay and food was comfortable for us. Can't thank you enough Vinayak bro. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and extended families.

One of the best stay in idukki. Wind Valley jeep safari, natural walk and homely food. You will get 5 star service here. Vinayak help you to plan the sight seen near by and idukki. He has good knowledge about idukki tourism. Will visit again

Best homestay in Ramakkalmedu. Traditional homely food was a more wonderful experience. Trekking and off-road assisted by the owner Vinayak was awesome. Must visit homestay for those who are looking for a peaceful stay. There is a facility for exploring the traditional life by visiting some houses and having their food in an old classic way.

Stayed here for a night. I should say that it's a very well managed property run by the host Mr. Vinayak. He's really attentive to the guests and makes sure guests are satisfied to the fullest. Would highly recommend this property.

Wind valley Homestay, located close to Ramakalmedu, peaceful place in between nature, full of cardamom and close to the beautiful mountain. I highly recommend to book wind valley for an amazing stay. They provide facilities such as delicious homely food, trekking walk-around the hills and very well-organized staff and services. Happy 5-star hotel stay, with peaceful surroundings and helpful staff. It is also a place to stay and do your painting of natural view, as far as weather is chilling. Especially the night vibe was so amazing and unforgettable.

We had a very comfortable stay there.really enjoyed being there. Rooms are spacious. Toilets are clean.
They arranged food for everyone and the food was really tasty. They also arranged jeep safari for us, which was really helpful.

Easy five star home stay. The way Vinay chettan treat us is the main hilight. He treat us a guest, no like a customer. He is ready to provide any help for us. Rooms are cheap & well maintained. Ramakkalmed view point is very near to this stay (1km or less).

We had a peaceful stay at wind valley as it was the first time we took a long route with our 2 year old son after the Covid restrictions are withdrawn. We loved the ambience of the building especially the beautifully maintained cardamom garden behind the building and even they are maintaining one cardamom plant at the backyard to provide a close watch for guests. For the first time ever we had a lucky chance to see a flowered pomegranate plant from their farm garden. Awesome! Mr. Vinayak was a great host and our son enjoyed the stay. Recommended for family travelling with kids.

Had a pleasant stay. The host (Vinayak) was a nice guy, gave lot of ideas to go around for the best places to visit. Looking forward to visit again sometime after all these Covid issues get to some good state. God bless this world against Covid.
One suggestion to host, hot water was not readily available inside room. I request Vinayak to take care of it in the future.

Very warm host and well maintained and neat rooms. Tourist attractions are just few mins away by walk. Parking is available to max 3 cars.

Wind valley homestay is a really nice place if someone is looking for convenience. Since it's very close to most of the view points. It is not a luxurious place as I imagined it to be

We stayed here for a night. Their rooms were clean and neatly maintained. The home cooked meals were delicious. There are many view points near to the homestay, the trekking experience was amazing. The owner acted as our guide and was with us throughout the trek. Would recommend 100%.

Great place to stay. Rooms are small, but clean and apt for our needs. Good staff, management and delicious food are the highlights. There is also parking facility for vehicles. Enjoyed the stay here. The Ramakkal medu view point is less than two kms from here. They will help you in case you need any guidance.

Had a wonderful experience at Wind Valley Stays. The rooms were well maintained and the homely food was very good. We had lots of help from the owner showing us around to the various viewpoints in Ramakalmedu.

It was a nice place, saw many good reviews of this place and also about Mr. Vinayakan. No wonder why people give such good reviews. It is very impressive, good food. Mr. Vinayakan is very helpful.

Our family, a group of 8 members including kids got to spend a night at wind valley and I must admit I was lucky to find that place. Vinayak, the whole n soul of Wind Valley did exceptionally well in hosting us and is a proud owner of a beautiful property by the center of Ramakkalmedu. If it was not for Vinayak, the trip to Ramakkalmedu would have ended with tht statues and wind mills. From the first phone call, Vinayak was so friendly, he helped in planning whole sight seeing at Ramakkalmedu and he lead us into an early morning trekking which was an awesome awesome experience, he helped the whole family including 3 kids to climb onto the top of the mountain "RamaKalle" and got to live beautiful view of sun rise. The whole early morning trekking was a lifetime experience which definitely wouldn't hav been possible without Vinayak. Vinayak, u hav bn an exceptional host n from da whole family a big thank u for all da help. Dis is one such instance wherein gratitude cant b put in words!

Wonderful Place To Visit. Not much explored Tourist place. Good for Both Family and Friends. Lovely weather with full of Mist and Fog. Better place than ooty or kodaikanal. Very less polluted Village. We all 5 Friends booked a Room with Very much Affordable Cost. Vinayak owner of this resort is a man of Humble who also act as a Guide without any additional cost. Awesome Trekking experience- he helped us to climb 3500ft hill. It was very adventurous and joyful. No-where you will get this kind of Hospitality. Very Tasty Complimentary Breakfast. Lunch we ordered Fish Curry Meals it was very Tasty at low cost. Nearby attractions are many and good to enjoy. Thekkady is less than 40kms from this place. You can stay here and travel to Thekkady if required as the cost of accomodation is much lessor compared to the resorts in Thekkady. Highly recommend this place and Wind Valley Homestay to All of you. Surely you will have Excellent Experience. Thanks For Your Support Vinayak.

It's nice place. Basic facilities available. We took 6bed in single groom. It has attached bathrooms. Claimate is good. Near by kurava kurathi statue. Water is very chil. No heater facilities available. They provide breakfast too. One general and dress shop available.

Very nice, Serene and homely place far away from city life. Very refreshing and rejuvenating surroundings with friendly people. Beautiful places of Ramakalmedu, Wind farms and Bird's eye view of farms in Tamil Nadu etc are nice experience. Most friendly family as host with home made delicious food. Mr. Vinayak an ex techie and his family are the best hosts. Mr. Vinayak came with us and showed us all the attractions in Ramakalmedu. My family enjoyed the stay and visit. My wife collected all the plants from them as if visiting a nursery. If you are Visiting Rammakkalmeadu Wind Valley Home stay is the best place to stay as a family. I recommend this place to all family travellers.
