This place is only open on Wednesday and Friday. The information available online that its open every day is incorrect. I travelled from mira road for this on Tuesday morning just to find It closed. They dont have any consideration to peoples time and money.
No one is bothered to rectify the information provided online.
Yellow fever vaccine is only available on Wednesday and Friday. No appointments. Only first cum first service. Takes approx 2-3 hours for the whole procedure. Charges are 300rs. Take original passport and a pen with you.
I visited here on 13.09.2023. People were standing in queue since 7 am. I arrived at 8: 15 am. Gates are opened at 8: 30. Then you'll be seated inside the premise till 10. Meanwhile, you'll be served forms/certificates to fill into. Vaccination starts at 10: 30. Then, it takes approx 2-3 hours to get vaccinated and certificates. MANDATORY: Carry your passport. If you want a polio dose also, you need to provide tickets/VISA. (Needless to say, you won't like to beg Pen). Everything was well managed and organized by the AHO team.
Visited here on 8th Sept 2023 here for the yellow fever shot. DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE PEN, PASSPORT and HARD CASH!
Was a bit terrified reading some reviews saying that people queue up from 6AM. But some people have said that there's no need but it's good to aim to reach by 8: 30AM.
My initial plan was to reach by 8: 30AM, but I actual ended up reaching by 9: 10AM. There was no queue outside, a guard sitting at the cabin asked if I had my passport, I showed it to him and he gave me a form with my token written on it. I was number 51 despite reaching post 9AM, my luck maybe who knows.
Was directed to sit in a waiting room at the ground floor, filled in basic health details, allergens etc. And passport details.
After a while they started calling people onto the first floor for billing, checked my details, did not see an option to swipe or pay online. Although I did not ask either, there might be an option. I had taken cash so paid that got my receipt and the yellow card.
We were sent down again where we waited and filled out details on the yellow card aka the certificate. Make sure it's stamped with the right date, some people's cards weren't stamped they went back and got it stamped.
Then there was some more waiting as people were processed in batches of 10, the staff is very friendly and helpful guides you whenever asked details.
Got my shot around 11: 20 my yellow card went for further processing as I waited for any sever reaction. Got the card duly signed stamped and by 11: 30 I was done.
Note - validity starts from 10 days from when you got the shot, so plan your travel accordingly!
People start queuing very early for yellow fever vaccination, however once they start giving the vaccination at 10.30 it doesn't take much time after that. The queue was managed well by the team.
Staff excellent.no time wastage. But the phone number goes to just dial and seems to be routed to a scamster who asks for Paytm of Rs 10 to generate token. This was the experience of many on the day I took my vaccination. So pl check this.this is serious breach of our security.
Nightmarish experience. Arrived at 7 am on reading the reviews. There were about 30 odd people already queued up. At 8 am, by which time about 200 people were standing outside the gate, a group of women decided that they would storm through the gates and not follow the queue. Huge fight ensued and it was so unfortunate that not a single person from the AHO intervened. Basically, the concept of queue is fictitious. You can walk in anytime before 9: 30-10 and hope that your token number is within the stock limit (no fixed number) for that day.
In Mumbai only this vaccination centre is open. Only Wednesday and Thursday. But you have to come in early morning for number line. I come in early morning by 4: 30 Am. And they give indigo staff vaccination without line this is not fair because lots of people come by early morning. Overall experience is good

Yellow Fever Vaccine is currently available at APHO Mumbai. Days: Wednesdays and Fridays except public holidays. Timing: 10: 00 AM to 11: 30 AM for Registration. Injection starts at 12: 00 PM onward. Vaccine will be given to Registered Individuals only. Document Required: ORIGINAL HARD COPY PASSPORT MANDATORY. Vaccination Fee: Rs. 300/- Note - Age (60+ years) needs Medical fitness certificate stating "Fit To take Yellow fever vaccine" from MBBS Doctor If already taken a live vaccine like MMR, chickenpox vaccine, etc.there should be a minimum gap of 1 month before taking Yellow Fever Vaccine If already taken a Covid vaccine, there should be a minimum gap of 14 days before taking Yellow Fever Vaccine There is No system of online or prior appointment for vaccination at APHO Mumbai. I have got vaccinated by friendly staff. Unfortunately huge rush was there. People starts que from 6 o'clock but only you have to get in before 10: 30 to get vaccination. It costs 300 rs for yellow fever and free of cost polio oral. Make sure that you have a pen it is key point of whole journey.
Yesterday was grt experience.by reading previous comments we thought to visit there by 7am bt later we came to know that they gv yellow fever vaccine to all the ppl who register themselves till 11.30am.not jst 50 or 70ppl.line was quite long numbers can go upto 200 if u r late bt there facility is very gd.they vl gv u all the details regarding form filling.and most imp thng vl be keep 300 cash no gpay vl be accepted there. ️

Vaccinations for yellow fever are available just have to reach before 11.30 morning after that gates will be closed and only on Wednesday and Friday but have unlimited stock for vaccines, passport original required and Rs 300 in cash
Hello Everyone, I have visited Center on 2nd Nov 2022, It was excellent and smooth process.vaccination only happens on Wednesday and Friday post Covid Lockdown and Notice Bill Board is Not Updated, Hence pls don’t get confuse. They allow Visitors to enter till 11.30. (my suggestion is to reach before 10am), Post which counter closes.they have a huge waiting area and slotting for everyone person entering on 1st Come 1st Serve Basis. 300 Cash Required, No UPI or Credit Card payment Accepted. Incase of Any Previous medical Illness then pls bring Doctor Recommendations letter Original Passport is Must and incase you have applied for Visa then Visa Copy Application will suffice (Suggest to have Orginal passport) You Need get vaccinated with Timelines for every country is different hence Pls Check the waiting period before taking vaccine.parking In premise is limited for Car about 8 to 9 cars and Clean Washrooms inside Premise
Yellofever vaccine is also available at jj hospital byculla Mumbai Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm You should reach place at 8.30am. Go to ground floor gate no. 6 general ward. Take case paper by paying cash Rs20 (there is separate Q for sr citizen, there is no need of doctor certificate). Go to ward number 50. I think it is on 2nd or 3rd floor Stand in the Q with case paper (case paper is must) They will call you for registration. Then again wait for your name will be called. They give vaccine in batches of10 people. 1st 50 people are only given vac for day.from 2016 yellow fever vac is valid for lifetime
Overall found the place clean, organized. The staff is helpful and well versed with process and there is good discipline. People are assigned token no.on registration form and the same is followed through out. Original passport is must for Yellow Fever. For Polio Drop you also need visa or ticket copy.
Entry starts at 10: 00 am and all people who arrive till 11: 30 am will get the vaccine shot. During Covid there was limitation of only 70 people per day, but now nothing like that.
People tend to arrive early, like from 7 am to avoid queue but as per me not worth it. Because they make all sit till like 10: 30/10: 45 and only then start registration (name, contact details, passport no.entry into a register), followed by payment and issue of blank certificate. Again they give time to fill it.
Then around 11: 30/11: 45 they start giving vaccine shot in batches of 10 each which is quite fast.
Here found the lady giving shot below expectation. She was acting quite mechanically without even caring to insert needle gently. Seems like was not in good mood that day.
Visited for a yellow fever vaccine. It's available on Wed and Friday from 9am. Documents needed are passport copy and original, don't forget a pen to fill out the form. It's very well organized and given in an orderly manner. Seating arrangement whilst you wait your turn which is as per your entry in the log. Do remember it's advice to not take this vaccine within 15 days of taking another live vaccine. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this and had to return. Carry change of 300 which is the fee for yellow fever. Would definitely recommend going here.
I reached a little late due to heavy rain and traffic then too the staff took my request for registration and vaccinated me. Staff is very co operative. Nice place for yellow ferver vaccine. All things happened in a just a click.
Amazing place with discipline. Went there today morning at 10 am.by car and there is a parking space and our vaccination was done by 12.30. Right from registration to vaccination it is done in a most disciplined manner. We are well directed and explained about the process. Around 100 yellow fever and polio vaccination can be done in a day. Compulsary documents required are passport and ticket or visa if polio is required. People above 60 require fitness certificate from doctor. One more thing if you have taken any other vaccine then please wait till 14 days before coming here.
Vaccination of yellow fever and polio can be taken at the same time. They take in around 100 people easily, so you can reach by 9-9: 30 AM and get a slot. Carry original passport and copy of tickets.
