Dubai Tour package (which includes everything except flights) was much economical (around 60 percent) compared to packages from other companies (sotc, thomas cook, some private tour operator) while covering 85 percent of the inclusions of other packages. Office guys (both in Dubai and mainly Mumbai Fort branch) answered our every question. Overall enjoyable experience.
If you really want to experience worst of something in todays competitive times when it's difficult to be bad at anything, this is the place to deal with.a request to change a flight got me to be totally of 2 to 3 hours on call over 2 days with different amounts (akbar travels says 8k holidays emails me 28k) for the same thing from different people juggling between akbar holidays and akbar travels and finally I get a call from a different person for a cruise ship booking which I never made, I have probably had my line transferred a 1000 times spoken to everyone at akbar expect the owner. I had to finally give up discussions with an incompetent company and book a flight myself.
Well planned Dubai trip from Akbar travels. Little coordination required between India and Dubai office. Other than initial 2 days of confusion and not following the itinerary, rest all were good. I would rate 4.5

Had an excellent experience of tour to Thailand with Akbar holidays, Mumbai. Everything was well planned and as per schedule. Cooperation received from the staff (Ms Karishma, Mr Jigar and Mr. Ankur) time to time was very good and prompt. Accomodations arrangements were reasonably good and are located at prime locations. I'm glad my friends and I chose Akbar Travels for our trip to Bali. We were very happy with the villa/hotel choices, the driver was always on time, the sightseeings and all the other arrangements. I had been traveling from 26th dec to 2nd Jan to Dubai with Akbar holidays customized packaged here the Manager in Mumbai Rounak was very helpfu but the Dubai team of Akbar Holidays was very bad they did not coordinate properly not a single day.
1. First day at the hotel rooms were not booked properly according to our need . 2. Dubai coordinating staff should had been present in the hotel to check whether we got proper rooms or not but no one was there we had to talk to the hotel and managed the rooms ourself. 3. What was the use of booking package n rooms six months in advance after going there they gave rooms on twin sharing n not double bed room with extra bed. 4.we were suppose to get everyday water bottles but we just got it first day then after complaining I was told it’s been kept at conceirge which too we were not informed about. 5. Miracle Garden and global village tickets were suppose to be given by akbar holidays which too they did not send in advance after we complained that we have bought the tickets then the money was refunded to us. 6.why was it that everything we need to remind them they should have done in advance so I am not at all happy nor my whole family as were 11 of us no one is satisfied with Akbar travels it was our first packaged tour but it was hopeless. 7 Desert safari was horrible one of the driver did not knew how to drive car and Dhow cruise is one of the worst, horrible I would suggest never ever suggest anyone to go there. So overall I had bad experience with Akbar Holidays.

We had a great time in Dubai courtesy. Trip managed by Akbar travels. While the trip was organised by Mr. Prem Soni, Mumbai and he could get us a competitive quote, made our schedule flexible till last day and provided us with proper guidance all along the trip. He also helped us during our trip inspite of being in different time zone. While first day was a mess, the managing of the trip and schedule for remaining days were well organised. Thanks to Mr. Suneesh, who helped us sort the issues initially and later were supported by Ms. Kim and Mr. Sanjay from Dubai office. We were really impressed by our tour guide Mr. Bilal, who gave lot of insight about various places in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. While we missed our limo ride as the driver was given different hotel for pickup. We were quite happy with the overall trip. The whole trip was very well arranged by Mr. Raunak Jain from Akbar Holidays. The hotels booked by them are very good and rooms are luxurious, and resort are having all the amenities. All the hotel transfers and airport pickup and airport drop is on time with private luxurious car. The local city trip and island trip was also arranged very well with the help of local external agencies. This all are done for very reasonable price as compared to the quotation of other companies. Prem (Sales) and Mohnish (Visa Team) were quite supportive to ensure that the trip goes smoothly in their respective departments.
Major co-ordinations issue between the Dubai Team and Local Transportation resulting in delays and confusion in trip. Even though the entire trip plan (sightseeing daywise plan) was done by US still they managed to create confusion which showed lack of professionalism.
Also most of the time when we tried to reach their local support number, mostly it used to land on their voice mail and no followups afterwards
Personally it was an AVERAGE performance as far as the trip coordination goes.
