I visited B Bhagat Tarachand for lunch with a friend. Having heard a lot about the place, I wanted to try out the thali. The thali turned out to be as good as I had imagined. The thali includes Paneer gravy, veg gravy, daal, raita, 3 chappatis / 2 tandoori rotis, pulav / plain rice along with sweet dish and snacks. One can also order the papad Churi or masala Khichiya. The food is made in ghee and the taste is amazing. For desserts, they have Falooda, Halwa and ice creams. Must visit place.
One of the best places for vegetarian food. The food is too rich. They prepare food either prepared in ghee or butter depending on your preference. The rotis are so soft and literally soaked in ghee. The paneer burji, bhindi kurkure, lassi and day fry are some of the best sellers. The place is always crowded but worth trying
Nice restaurant for dine in and take away both.food quality is awesome and the portion size is good. Staff behaviour is nice. A complete value for money restaurant i think. Recommend a visit. Thanks!
Must visit this place in Mumbai for sure. They provide the best daal in Mumbai. I’ve been eating here since childhood and take all my guests to this place. Their daal is delicious. You need to go there in advance as it’s always full as location is in shopping area. Must try Churi papad and the daal is must try. Do visit once if you are in Mumbai. Their quality and taste is always maintained.
Best thalis are served in all the outlets of bhagat tarachand. Roti in pure ghee and dal with lots of fried onion tastes the best. After a good meal one cant resist chaas served in beer bottle. Ambience is also good. And there is alot of rush everytime so visit half an hour prior.
The food was so good that we had stuffed ourselves to the brim and yet couldn't stop. The rotis melt in your mouth like butter. Even the jain food is so delicious. Highlight was the aamras that they provided. Best food. If you are ever in the area, donot miss out on this goodness. It's a heaven for your tastebuds.
I wouldnt mind saying it as a hyped name. Its so so ok.not that deserving as the hype. One can visit for PAPAD CHURI.apart from that its more or less normal hotel/ restaurant.
Hyped place, quantity is less for what they charge. You put too much oil in food and call it authentic North Indian food then I am sorry to say street food taste much better!
Mouth watering food, suitable of Jains and Vaishnov Jains as well. Before visiting just call and enquire whether they are open. There are many branches like B, R, S etc.and they are shut on different days. Call before going and check which is open they all are near by.
Most Delicious Food is being served here. Im from Delhi, whenever i get a chance to visit mumbai.i love to have food here.their Thali is too Awesome.just love to Eat!
Reasonably priced Tasty n Fantastic Food, customer friendly approach. Cultured crowd to eat with family atmosphere. Quality n satisfactory food. Value for money.
A rat was openly running around in the 2nd floor AC section. Very disturbing to witness and big question mark on sanitation and health code violation. Food wise decent place vegetarian and jain. We ordered pav bhaji and biryani, that was great. Veg makhanwala was ok.
Taste of food is great. Climbing to restaurant is difficult, frankly not suggested for people having knee or leg pain. Ambience is average & it is always full so be ready to wait for food.
Authentic and Amazing. You have to find the right one though that is more than 50 yrs old.or maybe even more. I took my frens there recently and they loved everything.esp the Rotis.
It's a hygienic vegetarian restaurant at many places in Mumbai exchange offers with best quality vegetarian cuisines Shuddh Desi Ghee and specially famous for butter milk given in glass bottles
