Barbeque Nation - Pune - Wakad

The most ridiculous system. They make you wait in their waiting area while the entire restaurant is empty as a part of " procedure ". After presenting them with a whole lot of documentation and making calls from the prime ministers office we finally got a table and then were moved three times. The food quality is below standard and in the name of service they believe it's good as long as they come sing on your table, while you keep waiting for the food for centuries.

The best thing is you can sit for long chatting with your friends.the staff was very friendly too

Not recommended, no ambience, bad food, bad service, on top of that you have to play 20% extra on MRP for alcohol, because it's sourced from hotel

Food is good. Somehow I think the quality was better earlier. Maybe too much expectations.
However service definitely needs to be relooked by management. Constant pestering on "are we providing good service, let me know if you need anything, " is a irritant. Also when we requested for pineapple, everyone vanished.
The good thing was cake provided by them as we were celebrating birthday.

Everything is just awesome, wheather we talk about the services, food, and atmosphere, just go out with your friends and have fun. The vibe is extremely great, and in the end the complimentary drink

Awesome place to have dinner or lunch, fresh and tasty food. Must Visit place with your loved one's, must try chicken seekh kabab, fish, prawn. Chilli garlic noodles, labdi kulfi.

I was quite surprised during my recent visit to the Barbeq Wakad Outlet. It seems they've made some noticeable cost-cutting measures. Unfortunately, many of the dishes were undercooked, including starters like alloo tiki and soya chap, which were completely raw on the inside. The pizza was also disappointing – the base was undercooked, and the toppings tasted stale. While the main course and desserts were passable, I had to wait for at least 10 minutes for cutlery to be available. Even more concerning was that the kids' food arrived 15 minutes after the adults' food, which isn't ideal. The overall ambience was chaotic, and the place appeared to lack a thorough cleaning for a while. It's disappointing to see such a decline in food quality and cleanliness, especially since I used to highly recommend this place. I'll certainly be avoiding another visit and won't be suggesting anyone go to this outlet, at least in its current state.

Service was very good and ambiance was also very good as it is on top floor of sayaji hotel view is also very good it's bit overpriced but you can enjoy unlimited barbeque with plenty of different dishes in main course.

It's highly overated place. The ambience is very very average compared to it's competitors like absolute barbecue.
Taste wise biryani and chicken leg piece was only good. Rest items were below average.
You can find many better options in wakad at this rate

Service could have been faster. Slow service makes food less interesting. Can improve in taste of food and fast services.
Good variety of kulfi's. Those are damn tasty that people jumped from starter to dessert

Nice place, nice food, still vegans have very little choices in main course; however desserts and icecreams are good there. Good service though!

The place is always overcrowded. They mostly don't honor the appointment times. Even with confirmed appointment, you'll have to wait long. I could see dozens of vacant tables, which could have been cleaned in 2 mins and allocated to waiting crowd.but sheer mismanagement.

Expected a better ambience based on my visits to other bbq nation locations & other bbqs, which were much better.

Salads, Desserts and curries are just average and can use some improvements in terms of items & quality. Starters and some main course items were excellent.

Servers were probably doing everything they could, but it was just too much for them to handle.

It's a bad experience. I had booked 22 people but when I got there I realized there was no such booking. That is, we were driven crazy. So we 22 people left disappointed. The staff is giving very rude answers. Actually I don't want give one star but for formalities I given.

Booked a table for 7: 00 PM thru BBQ online portal but we got delayed by half an hour due to traffic. Once we reached the reception, where we were told that the reserved table has been release to someone else before 15 mins and we have been asked to wait for next slot at 9: 30 PM. We were accompanied by our two daughters to celebrate elder daughter's Birthday so couldn't delay their dinner because of age. Here the fact is that we never got any call or SMS for booking confirmation, cancellation. This is pathetic service from such renowned food hospitality service provider which spoil our day. Will never visit again! Please be aware before planning your special occasions.

It feels like routine now. There are no changes with time reg food quality and variety. They can rethink on how to make it better

Its a very good option for non-veg folks with multiple options available for them, not only staff is friendly they will go extra mile to make your lunch/dinner more appetizing. However for veg folks despite efforts from staff it leaves a lot to be desired - however you should atleast visit it once. Place is neat and clean with temperature of staff publicly displayed to allay any fear.

Good food, even though not much food variety options compared to other barbeque nations. The inside ambience is not good.

It's below average. I have been to barbecue nation in kalyani Nagar, compare to that, wakad one is kinda cheap copy. Starters and serving is ok. Ambience is ok.but main course is not good.
They do force to leave in 2 hours even if people next to you came before you and are still there.
Washroom is worst than of bus stop.

Had an absolutely amazing time at Barbeque Nation, Wakad. Went there to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The staff was very helpful, prompt and
dedicated; especially Mr. Pankaj, who was like a dedicated server for our table. Food and ambience is great. Cake and celebration song for the anniversary was simply cherry on the top.

Very bad service, didn't get table even after booking it 5 hours prior, had to sir uncomfortably

It was absolutely amazing.had very delicious lunch over there. I wanna specially thanks to staff we asked pasta from live counter but they said sorry mam we don't serve pasta and after few minutes manager came to us with pasta and he said we made this specially for u thank u BBQ Sayaji

Generally It was nice experience at barbeque nation but I went yesterday and it was little disappointing experience. I already booked my reservation for 8: 45 p.m through their app. I reached on time but it was amazingly crowded.
Lots of people already waiting at reception with previous appointment, many people argued with staff and it was chaos.it took us 45 mins of waiting time to get the table.
The restaurant was clearly working with less staff due to vaccine constraints, however the appointments were given without these considerations. May be they become greedy to recover the losses incurred during lockdown.
Due to all these the dining experience was poor. The staff couldn't serve these many people, shortage and delay in everything.
Overall this is poor experience from big brand like Barbeque Nation

Sorry to find such an institution in state of decline. Filthy toilets, watered down soaps, limited buffet variety, average taste. Remembered Sajid bhai and his personal touch.

Service is quick, food is good, however the number of items are same compared to other similar restaurant with 30-40% more price.

Too much short qty of food, reduse types of food items, food test like just local hotel very poor test and service.

Do not go to barbeque.save your time.

I had been here earlier and if that 8/10 then today it was 0/10. Today was really disappointing. I must say it was worst service and worst food tast (cold food with no taste including main course & desserts toooo). We were so much disappointed that we have decided we will never again visit bbq. And will spread the word amongst the people around us too. I was there with my family for some occasion and good quality time. But we were entirely lost after this dinner, neither we had quality time nor quality food and plus waste of money. Please before visiting check the reviews henceforth.

May be because of Pandemic, but they seem short staffed and unable to provide the experience Barbecue Nation is known to provide.

Not worth. Not able to eat. No taste to main course and soup was pathetic. Lot of options like sea food counter, pizza pasta counters are closed. Even they stop giving mouth freshener pouches. Very disappointing

Although food was good, ambience was bad. No social distancing maintained. Chutney and other dressing material were kept open. Pani puri served on the table was not tasty. Cleanliness was not upto the mark. Even service was mediocre. May not recommend.

Nice crowd. Nice place. Waiters are polite. But due to high demand I guess they are not handling bookings properly and accepting bookings without checking availability so you better wanna confirm 1 hr before you reach there which is so unwise.

I visited the place today. The food was worst in aspects of quality, hygiene and taste. This is not usual but today had a bad experience here. I just gulped down few bites and was done just because I it was dinner time. The deserts were worst. Kulfi was watery and all frosted with watery ice. The food kept in hot pot was cold.

We ordered today on 8th may 2 boxes - 1 veg and 1 non veg. Most items were fine but not that great. Quality was seeming off in certain dishes. Appetizers were ok.
The bad ones were all paneer dishes - we had to heat them up separately as they were a little tough and hard.
Mutton and chicken were decent. Pineapple didn't seem all that fresh. The yogurt chutney was looking a little spoilt and the phirni was curdled. The biryani and the veg gravies seemed dated and old. Overall while we did get to eat a lot of variety what we were left with was an ok taste in our mouth and a feeling of wonder at how old the food were and whether we will be ok the next day or not.

We were once regular visitors to bbq nation but after this experience I doubt we will be ordering or visiting anytime soon.

Had ordered the take away meal BBQ in a box, starters were not cooked to perfection and main course was totally bad, had to throw away the parathas (all frozen stuff) and main course meals had to be discarded. Never expected this from a brand like BBQ. Not worth the money spent.

Beautiful place for celebration Birthday anniversary or Date.unlimited food every type of Food here like cake, Panner, Ice cream, Dinner and all, very impressive Place and Food, if you are Birthday gal or boy for that day so will get a free Birthday cake to celebrate your Day. Only one thing which i like to share is their charges are very high even if you are going in couple or more then 1 Person still they'll charge per person particularly.

Superb food, superb spread out of starters, main course and dessert. Superb staff. Every thing was simply great of this place. Air conditioning would have improved the overall feel. Rest it was worth every penny.

Confused to decide the menu and order the dishes? Wanted a nice luxurious ambiance but doesn’t have enough time to go through the restaurants and bars which have a nice rooftop ambiance. The place has a great view of the banglore-pune highway where you will observe that the lights of the cars and bikes are twinkling like stars. ️

This place has it all.
We all are aware of the their concept of serving the BBQ starters live over your table. Not just that but they have a very unique way of getting all various types of BBQ grilled sticks and dishes until you put their bbq flag down and show them love for their food that we are almost done and fulfilled with your bbq starters. Still the waiters conce again confirms if the flag was put down by you only and it happened mistakenly.
They bring you bbq fishes such as - chicken kebabs, chicken tangdi kebab, prawns, basa fish, potatoe grill, paneer tikka, capsicum, cauliflower, baby sweet corns etc.
All these things are very much healthy too.
Their Alakart menu is also so vast and huge that you can just walk over their floor and try out their buffet arrangement as well as the dishes.
All the dishes are served hot and fresh.
They have ice creams, gulab jamun, and also different type of macaroons and cakes and pastries.
One can definitely visit this place of a celebration if he/she is confused with deciding the menu for a group of people.

Unique - the best thing is, they ask if you the reason for visit. And jf they come to know that your here to celebrate birthday or anniversary. They get you a cake and all the staff is gathered there at your table to celebrate the occasion together and cut the cake.

Awesome barbecue restaurant! Had my wife's birthday dinner party here. Staff was courteous and food taste was good too. Ample seating capacity with nice ambiance suitable for large groups too. Staff was helpful and they kept kitchen open for some additional time, late in the night as some of the guest were late to arrive and that's great. Food is quite good too, you can alter it as per your taste. So overall nice experience. Would love to go back there

The food is not fresh. Staff asks you to wait unreasonably. You don't have choice to choose your own table. Not worth to spend this much. Very less variety for chicken starters as well

I have visited bbq nation this outlet 1st time. Before that i used to of jm road outlet. But this experience was good beacause my mom had operation of eye.
And for change we came there and food served on grill fire but due to eye operation my mom was not comfortable of heat. So the staff of name PRAVIN we told him to close fire.and told about mom eye. Afterwards the way he taken care of my mom that was amazing he was serving mom whatever she want's on table. Like a son he has care my mom. And more than food we liked his behavior. God blessed him. Starts to end he took care of us. Specially my mom. Thanks pravin.

Service not up to the mark. Visited there for team lunch. Manager is trying to force around excellent feedback. He is even not satisfied with 'good'. Not even agree to the feedback we are giving rather trying to convince that people think like that but that is not the case. Funny enough.

Quality of Barbeque Nation is going down day by day. Now they all are just keen to get profit instead of satisfying customer. Recently visit and experience was not as per expectation as attenders are not much cooperative.and obviously the the taste of food. But everytime you will visit.you will find the crowd.

Barbeque Nation Aajad is THE best restaurant around this area. If you are going here, take the buffet as the budget is what this place is famous for. They give you starters right out of the flames and then you can proceed to the main course and the dessert. It is an all-you-can-eat buffet. An extremely great place for corporate dinners and gatherings. I would recommend going there during the night, as the view and the wind is great during the night. The only con would be that it is a bit on the expensive side.

Before I went to this place that this Barbeque nation is best Barbeque nation in the Pune City. But I get disappointed.

This review will be veg oriented. This place is on 12 floor of the building. They served us with 8 starters all are good and chief visited after round one to ask us about customisation of spices and they were very hospitable. There after in main course all veg dishes are okay veg mancho soup may need some work, all salad were good choose carefully if you are vegetarian. At the end you get lots of deserts to choose from for this also ask some one to point out which are veg. Kulfi is main attraction in desert which stands up to its expectation.

Tip: If you want corporate discount you have to pre book and mention this during booking.

Very poor service.with policy of holding table till 15 min, they made us wait for 40 min and then giving us option to share a table with other guest. This was not enough and after further wait they gave ad a table next to kitchen on the way to kitchen which was a horrible experience. Such a way of money and mood.

Very good place if you are in Pune. Especially, if you are not vegetarian but vegetarians are also good here. Appetizer are kept warm in table built in grill. The only problem that I see the heavy traffic to get in - out from there.
