Really loved it. The gravy was so tasty and thick I need not need anything else. Lots of varieties too choose your fav one from it.

Food could be much better. Staff is polite but need training. Atmosphere could be better on lines of themed restaurant

Huge restaurant with lots of seating capacity, and yet we had to wait for 30 minutes on a weekend. Large food portions.

Food is good not that great as hyped.
Tried Mutton Seekh Kebab, Chicken Keema and Chicken Tikka Biryani and lastly caramel custard.
Service was pretty slow.

Kudos to Blue Nile for acing these aspects! The service was impeccable, the ambience was inviting, and the cleanliness was spot on. It’s rare to find such a trifecta of excellence in these categories.

Now, on to the star of the show, the Mutton Biryani. This is where things get interesting. You see, the most crucial aspect of a delicious Biryani is the quality of the meat, and, dare I say, the portion of meat used. Here’s where Blue Nile faltered a bit. The portion of mutton in my Biryani was, well, underwhelming. It was like searching for treasure in a barren desert – not much to find.

I might have been unlucky in receiving the mediocre portion of meat, but as they say, it’s all part of the culinary adventure. While the Mutton Biryani didn’t quite hit the mark for me, I can’t deny the effort that goes into running a restaurant for years and years.

In fact, I admire Blue Nile for its dedication and hard work. They’ve built a reputation that has stood the test of time, which is no small feat in the restaurant business. It’s a testament to their commitment, and I respect that.

On a lighter note, I would also like to suggest to all Puneites that if they truly want to understand the essence of Biryani, they might want to make a trip to Mumbai. After all, exploring different flavors is like embarking on a delicious journey, and Mumbai’s Biryani scene has its own unique charm.

In conclusion, Blue Nile might not have wowed me with its Mutton Biryani on this particular visit, but it’s a place worth considering for its outstanding service, pleasant ambience, and cleanliness. And who knows, their other dishes might just be the hidden gems waiting to be discovered. Keep up the hard work, Blue Nile!

Someone needs to bring them to reality check. What they serve is nowhere lose to authentic dum biryani. Just masala with plain rice

Went to this place multiple times.
I can safely say the food is good only if you go during the day or before 8 pm. Went twice after nine and received tasteless biryani. But when I went in the afternoon the biryani was tasty and good.

Worst food ever! If you are looking for good food trust me this is not the place you come. OVERLY HYPED! Im never going and I'd suggest Y all too shouldn't.

Loved the new look. The Biryani was as usual amazing. The place was packed hence, too noisy. Customers need to follow the dining etiquette. Staff is polite but they looked tired because of the heavy crowd.

Good ambience. Must try items butter chicken, any roti, chicken tandoori, mutton/chicken biryani, fruit custard n ice cream, caramel custard. In the morning they serve kheema paw bun maska Irani chai for breakfast. Must visit in the new arena it's spacious.

Nice place to dine in. Usually they don't have offers. Taste is the best with some costly dishes. Must try once. Nice place for family dinner and lunches.

Loved the food and portions were really large. Mutton Biryani is to die for. Roti too was the size of a dinner plate. Blue Nile Boneless Mutton Masala was good, Chicken Tikka was awesome. Must try their Bakhlava. Overall value for Money

Ordered Chiken biryani for dinner & I found an insect in my son’s plate. Later they served reshmi kabab it was too cold to eat.

Most appreciate the cook for serving quality food each time I visit there. And secondly the staff here is pretty awesome.

Blue Nile have so much of Hype and is known to be famous for Biryani.
They have lots of varieties in biryani and good menu with a lot of options. We tried Mutton Biryani there and truth be said, I wasn't impressed. So much of Hype but the biryani I tasted wasn't that good as I expected. The taste was an okay.

Super fast service, awesome taste. One must try mutton seekh kabab and Tangdi kabab. Think before orderimg butter naan in bulk as their naan are bigger than usual.
Note: Do not order starter and main course at once, you will be surprised after getting them within 10 minutes of order.

Mutton masala and biryani has lost TASTE.
ONLY EXPERTS IN RUSHING FR CLEARING THE TABLE. BY PUTTING LOT OF EXCESS WAITER AROUND THE TABLE.

The quality of the food is amazing. Less of oil and spices but still fingerlicking good. Definitely would visit again and again.

A must visit restaurant to try out kebabs, biryanis and all kinds of Mughal cuisine. One would be better off trying these dishes here rather than typical items such as wraps, soups, rolls, noodles and chinese items, Following are the good things about this place:
1) Quality and Quantity: Order any item, and you will not be disappointed by the taste, quantity of the dishes served and the freshness of the food. This is a sign of very good hospitality. The meat is cooked to perfection and remains juicy and tender, with a good spicy taste.
2) Affordability: The prices are slightly on the higher side for a common man, but is absolutely value for money. One will not regret trying any of the Mughal cuisine here. One can easily plan to visit this place once in a month with the family.
3) Ambience: The staff are serving the food is good, and will recommend good items if requested. The ambience is very lively, and peaceful.

Overall, if you are some one who loves kebabs, biryanis and similar food, and are looking for a value for money option then this is a must visit place.

Ambience- A very good interior, recently renovated during lockdown. Hospitality is on point.

This place is one of the oldest in Pune, recently renovated, is well maintained and hygienic.

They still do not offer dining-in due to restrictions however food delivery and take-away services are available.

Pocket friendly- Reasonable for the quantity and quality served.

Food- Chicken and Prawn Biryani, their Irani style Biryani, Chicken Sagwala, Tandoori are must try.

For desserts, caramel custard with icecream is good too.

Service- Quick, prompt, polite and following strict social distance norm.

Rating-4 as they have adapted to the current situation very well however there has to a bit improvement with the quality of Biryani.

In its old Avatar they had a picture of a goat at the entrance with this interesting line inscribed, "Meet me anywhere, but eat me only here! ".
Nothing has changed.the mutton tastes as delicious. A north Indian friend of mine who was an.avid Hyderabadi dhum pukth fan slowly whispered with his mouth full, "this is better. ".

Ambience is soothing and refreshing.
Service staff is better and well trained. We liked the way you all team managed hygiene and covide precautions. For all above mentioned things I'll rate 5 star.
For food quality I'll rate 6 star.we enjoyed authentic flavoured and supertasty food here.

The food is perfect in taste. For all pure veg and individuals with egg allergy, in online menu of service provider deserts category caramel custard is placed under veg with green dot but when checked with restaurant they confirmed of having eggs in these preparation. Please check before ordering if ur pure veg or allergic to eggs.

Most favourite outlet of Pune for Non-Vegeterian people. Kebabs are best to have. Pure Quality of Food. Non-Veg Heaven!

Been to this restaurant since my school days. The renovation and is more fancy now. The earlier setup somehow seemed better, though the present one is much fancier. Did is just a good today as it was earlier.

One of my favourites in Pune for Chelo kebab, but this time I felt it was not up to the mark. I hope they work on maintaining their standard.

Place has been spruced up, but I would had like if they had worked more on the food. I ordered two mutton dishes, both had the same gravy, on asking I was informed that all items have same gravy, but the preparation is different. I failed to understand if gravy is same, what does different preparation really mean. Chicken tandoori was good, mutton biryani was too oily. Not the place for people who can tell the difference between good and mediocre food.

Had a chiken tikka boneless biryani. And it tasted very nice. Good quality and quantity as well. Must try tandoor also

Excellent restaurant for lunch/dinner or quick byte. Very good service and very friendly as well as cooperative staff and excellent location. The restaurant is very old and very luxurious situated in the mid of Pune town. This is one of the best restaurant in town in my view. Everything is just perfect. There was so much in this hotel that was done to perfection it is hard to find one thing that stood out. I am fan of chicken biryani of this place. Although all items from menu are delicious. You must try atleast once.

The place is fine. The food was good. The service is really good. Only draw back is that the taste and quality isn't up to the mark how you would expect. The quantity is very nice. A simple meal can fill up to 4 people

One of the worst restaurants and overhyped places I have ever visited in Pune. The serve you super fast as they just heat up the food and its not freshly made. Paneer was like rubber, and biriyani was not worthy of giving a try. Overpriced menu and awful taste.

Best place to have Briyani, butter chicken, roti etc.location is also GD valet parking available. Staff are GD mannered n are aware of the menu.
Post renovation this place looks awesome. Very quick service when order is placed n no compromise on quality. Must visit place for fine dining experience.

The non vegetarian food at this restaurant is supposed to be of top draw. The ubiquitous Biriyani is a top attraction at this restaurant. It's so popular that customers normally have to wait for a table on arrival. As you wait, the aroma of the food drifts around the waiting area, turning your gastric juices active. Having arrived late for lunch during the peak hour rush, the prospect of 45 minutes waiting time compelled us to select another popular restaurant right next door. It's definitely a "must visit restaurant" the next time I'm in Pune. A classic example of "so near and yet so far".
