Absurdly expensive. 120 rupees for a plate is unjustifiable, and the taste is sub-par. Highly overrated and I would've given just one star if not for the place's legendary location
Here you will get to taste authentic pav bhaji and its really worth it. Cannon pav bhaji is a famous for its great taste for pav bhaji, and its been serving people since ages, so if you are in mumbai once you must visit this place. You can see the whole preparations as its prepared in front of you and you just love to see that.
Went there as it was my main stop (after the suggestions of the people). I was craving to try one of the best Mumbai Pav Bhaji.
With the first bite I was hoping to enjoy the flavoursome bhaji with soft pav fried in ghee, but it was totally the opposite. As I was trying to take a bite by breaking the pav in two but too my surprise I was not able to. It was hard to break it using two fingers. Then tasted bhaji which was just a mix of Aloo and masala, which is used in all over Mumbai.
Was highly disappointed with this type of Bhaji and Pav, would rather suggest avoiding it.
It's a fast food place where we can have breakfast there. Located near CST station & just before the azad maidan. Most of people in the morning who are visiters come here to have some food.
A decent place for having snacks. The iconic dish - The Pav Bhaji is overrated. I mean its not that great, but not bad also. To sum up: a good place to have a snack anytime for a decent price. The taste is OK. Service depends upon the crowd but it's mostly fast. You get it.
If you are new in Mumbai and are craving for pav bhaji then this is the place for you. Located at the prime location (opposite CSMT). The best part is everything is prepared in front of you. Price - ₹250 for 2 people.
The best Paav bhaaji I have ever had was this place. Looks very shabby from outside but the Paav bhaaji just surpasses all negativities! I had special cheese Paav bhaaji and it was so mouth watering and yummy. The staff is all old ladies working out at spare times to support their family. You can see many foreigners visiting this place. It's just opposite to CST station and there are no seatings available.
A great place to have Authentic Pav Bhaji in Southern Mumbai. The Pav Bhaji comes in a wide variety. The staff is mostly friendly old ladies. They also serve Gulab Jamun, but have no place to wash your hands.
Cannon pav bhaji is located exactly in front of CST Station. It's famous for their pav bhajis. It's like one of those stalls in chow patty beach where one has to eat standing as there isn't any place or facilities to sit. Their pav bhaji was okay, I prefer Sardar's pav bhaji to be honest. Their pav bhaji is served with spring onions rather than normal onions. One thing I noticed that there were even women on the counter who were taking the orders and serving, etc which is a good thing. They also serve other food items but we only tried their pav bhaji.
I had Butter Pavbhaji and Chaas in the Evening. Taste of Pavbhaji was very average and Chaas was salty and weird tasting. Eat here at your own risk as it also caused stomach problems for me.
Best place to eat if your hungry and starving and have less time as sometimes you might be in hurry to board your train or local and you don't want to miss out either.
This restaurant is famous for Pav Bhaji.
Even Vim Bar the utensil cleaning detergent brand showcased this restaurant in its campaign and it was quite popular.
ME personally wanted to come here and taste Pav Bhaji and now its like a monthly routine to visit twice or thrice depending on the visit to CST.
YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE FOOD QUALITY AND THE NATURE OF PEOPLE WORKING HERE.
Wait time is typically 5 min if crowded or else when not just order your food and get in few seconds like 30 - 40 seconds being precise depending on the food you order.
Good for a one time eat is what I felt.way better places for Pav Bhaji as street food across the city. Location is Prime though opposite CST station.in a line of eateries
Located bang outside CSTM station, this outlet is rumored to be the place where Pav Bhaji originated. Whether true or otherwise, this place is renowned for years and the people who work there are known by the regular visitors for decades. The taste of the Pav bhaji is pretty much consistent for all these years and so is the crowd, especially during peak hours. Do visit this place just to experience the taste of Mumbai.
