The greatest place I have visited in a while, the booking to playing garba to food arrangement everything was done with perfection. It should be well appreciated that there are still people who are working so hard for purely customer satisfaction. Every penny was worth spending here, one of the craziest night that will be remembered. Looking forward to join other events too

Too Poor Quality Food, Totally Worthless and useless services they are serving. Food quality is too much low as and rates are too high.it feels they have looted the persons.its a total wastage of Time, Wastage of Money.a Biiiiiig no to this hotel

The service was very very poor.there were two families to whom the waiters were catering exclusively to.not that the other diners were dining free.would never visit this place again for this behaviour.not that the food was great.we requested for a small bowl which didn't arrive till our dinner was almost over. Ms Walke who we were told was the owner may please take note of this.

Good food. Tisrya masala was prepared in an Authentic Malvani style which you don't find in other restaurants claiming to be serving Malvani cuisine.

Crab lollipop is a dish one of its kind.very much tasty and above all getting crab marrow so easy way to eat is really soothing

Small place with good food. Solkadi was outstanding, the pomfret was fresh and tender and the country chicken gravy was very good. Had it with a jowar roti. Topped it with fried prawns which were very average

1) had ordered Prawns thali and Pomfret thali
2) I have given 2 stars
One for solkadi
And one for fish curry
Wish were only good items in the thali.
3) as far as I know solkadi should be served cold, but there it was more than room temperature.
4) the fish fry was not at all good in terms of taste. Had really high expectations but didn't meet any of the expectations for authentication Maharashtrian seafood.
5) Instead of chapati we opted for Tandalachi bhakari, thought It would taste better with fish but we were utterly disappointed with the bhakari as it was literally raw.
6) on weekends it is usually crowded, so make sure you have enough time and then visit here. It takes around more than an hour or more to get a table.

Food taste is awesome.must try for crab lollypop.it's really great.customer service is also good.only one problem is that there is always waiting for dining.

Today I tried veg Thali but I say this restaurant is not a Thali restaurant wen I asked some vegetables extra they said u need to buy another whole plate now wat to say to them learn from South Indian, Gujarati, Rajasthani ppl how to establish Thali and a good food serving restaurant

Best malvani Thali i had till date. Kolambi rice and crab lollypop are showstopper here, please try. Reasonably priced food, fresh n delicious, staff are polite and prkmpt to serve you.
Yes waiting time is bit longer, but trust me u wont regret waiting.

Food is good but there was a lot of delay in getting service. Maybe it was an usually crowded evening but I was getting irked.

Walking distance from Siddhivinayak temple. I heard about this hotel in food vlogs on Instagram. Ambience is very pleasant and food is really tasty. I ordered my favourite bombil fish thali.

This is amazing restaurant to eat seafood, though there is waiting list for entry it's totally worth the wait. Dish I will definitely recommend to try is crab lollypop in starters & bombil fry. The food is immensely tasty.

Pathetic staff.very rude and unprofessional.had visited this place after months.the person on the counter taking booking was very arrogant and not ready to take enter at 9.10pm and said they don't take people after 9.00pm. Very funny.not even small eatery or big restaurant have this silly rule.

Seafood Heaven. If u are craving for malvani fish curry and fry. Do not hesitate to try this place.
If u are planning to come to this place, be ready to wait atleast 15-20 min for the table as this place is always full even on weekdays.
Other than that the food is 5/5 specially fish and also to mention their Solkadi was freshly made and tasty unlike others who give packet Solkadi. The staff is very friendly and quick with their order.
Special mention to the cleanliness they have kept throughout.

Good food. Ordered mostly crabs as takeaway. Grandkids loved the stuff - crab masala, crab butter garlic and crab lollipops.

A heaven for seafood lovers and especially Malwani food. Amazing stuffed pomfret. Don't miss their steamed modaka & very unique ice creams like jackfruit, peru & chikku.

Actually Hotel Chaitanya Rice flour Bhakari is awesome. We have ordered many times.
But yesterday we placed order through Zomato for their Bhakri, it was Sunday night so we thought that they will give us fresh Bhakri, but we were wrong they gave stale Bhakri reheated.we have guest for dinner and we served them as usual, when we served ourselves that time I came to know about it.it was very embarassing. In these pandemic time when all had suffered a lot.and when now its time to start new and to attract customers you have to be best.but last day it was worse for us. Shame on you.henceforth we will not order.

Located near Siddhivinayak Temple, Chaitanya Hotel is one of the best malvani restaurants in Mumbai. Due to the limited seating capacity & popularity of this place, you may have to wait long to get your table.

The place is a paradise for sea lovers. Crab lollipop is one of the most recommended dishes to try here. Their malvani delicacies have a homely taste. Don't forget to try their homemade ice-cream varieties especially Ginger, Chilli & Lemon Ice-creams which is rare & unique.

The menu is moderately priced but the service is prompt. Overall, A highly recommended restaurant in Mumbai to enjoy malvani cuisine.

Waste of money. I had ordered chicken masala, quantity was very less for 300 bucks. Don't dare to order Chicken Biryani ever from this place, absolutely no value for money. No taste and was too salty.

In this pandemic situation also.properly followed all guidelines as between the 3 tables centre table was kept empty to follow the social distance.and after winding up it was well clean up by sanitizer.

Tastewise also they changed from what they were in there staring period
But still tastewise no problematic (They are just felling to compete thereselves)

A true feel of the typical Indian Bazaar. Narrow roads with a cluster of shops on either side of the road.

The fried fish (bangda/ mackerel) ordered through swiggy was a stail frozen fish and not at all worth the cost. I also ordered the fish curry (mackerel curry) which was on the contrary lip smacking. Hope tht fried fish is better next time.

Good authentic place, good to see it's expanded recently. I would urge to keep consistency in the taste in thalis. Rest all staff was good. Loved crab lollypop.

If you want to eat home like food then this place made for you. A food taste is awesome specially nonveg food eg. Kolambi masala, kolambi thali, kolambi fry, chiken thali, surmai fry etc. Ambience is normal, good to go. Staff is to friendly.

Awesome place for fish lovers. Must must try is tisrya (shells). Curry is authentic Marathi style. Solkadi is the one if the best. Ambience is nice. Service is fast. Just a bit conjusted place. Be on time otherwise can face and atleast half hour of waiting.

A very small restaurant serving authentic Malvani meals. Went there with family on Sunday afternoon and got a table after waiting for an hour. It is located on the back side of Siddhivinayak temple in Prabhadevi, Dadar. Dedicated parking space is not available. The restaurant is always full and there's waiting all the time. They serve awesomest n freshest sea food. This is one place which doesn't disappoint vegetarian ppl as well. The SP veg thali costs RS. 300 and is a huge one. All their sea food dishes are very tasty.

Good small restaurant in Dadar. The food taste is really nice. Must try crab lollipop.its very crispy from outside and inside it's very fleshy and juicy.its severed hot and it's really amazing. The thali is also quite good. The ambiance is simple and best. The price is reasonable as per the quality and quantity.

Amazing food. We decided to go here after reading some reviews and we found what was in my opinion, the best place in Mumbai for affordable and delicious Konkani and Malvani seafood.

Their thalis are well known, and following other's suggestions we tried the crab lollipops which were really mouthwatering (it was a refreshing change of taste from having to put effort into eating crabs)

Apart from that, I also recommend the mori (shark) masala with the ghavne (neer dosa). The vade wasnt to my liking but besides that, a fantastic experience overall.

Note: It does tend to get pretty crowded, so expect to wait a few minutes in line for seating

Small place located in the lane of famous Ganpati Temple Shri Siddhivinahak. Chaitanya is a typical malwani type restaurant. Compact seating, very few tables and typical fish smell of malwani restaurants it is mainly famous for malvani and other sea food dishes, crab lollipop is something one must try and for the main course if you are bored of regular non veg thalis you can go for Prawns pulav.
Typically on weekends this place is full and you will need to wakt for 15 minutes to half n hour or more depending on the crowd.
Overall a good place for Sea food.

Good for non vegetarians. Limited choices for vegetarians. I had a vegetarian thali yesterday. At 180 rupees plus GST, it is certainly overpriced. The number of dishes was very limited, and the quality was not up to the mark. The exception was "solkhadi", which was delicious.

Decent place for having sea food dinner with malvani style. The fishes are fresh and are cooked nicely. The dishes are not too spicy as one would expect from malvani cuisine but they are nice overall.

Nice food. I m fond of mid spicy malwwni food hence didn't like much here, but overall taste was nice.
