Good location set amongst greenery. Lots of activities. Good food. Property needs refurbishment though, including the rooms

An excellent place to get away from the madness of city life. Last 10 kms approach roach towards the resort has improved a lot.

The rooms are old and are in dire need of renovation. The paint is peeling of, the door knobs are not working, no toiletries in the room.
On the positive side the property is excellent, lush greenery and very good location.

The location is very far. Service is the worst The food quality is not up to the mark. Will never visit Tunga, nor will I suggest anyone to visit

I wish to stay at this property, i am member of Karma since 30 yrs, when it's name was rgbc (royal Goan beach club), but I love it's location

This resort is at an isolated location. 30-40 mins from Lonavla city. In the middle of nature surrounded by tress on all sides. You get an amazing view of Pawna lake. There are different indoor and outdoor activities but they are chargeable and bit expensive with the taxes. You can come here on weekend or enjoy with vacation your family for couple of days. Meal plans are too costly so plan accordingly.

Wonderful place to be. Rooms are quite spacious with balcony and from balcony we could see Tung fort.
Rainy season was just started so we had a good time.
Rooms are at a distance from reception and restaurant and swimming pool. You need buggy to go there and that's the only negative.
Swimming pool -infinity pool is temperature controlled.
Happy Hub is ok.
Tung fort is around 2 km and we went there in the morning. Wonderful experience.

It was an amazing experience at Club Mahindra - Tungi. The property exceeded my expectations. The staff was very cordial and food served at the buffet was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place to all the members.

Place is somewhere nowhere, but guess most of the Club Mahindra resorts are like at someplace out of nowhere.
The reason to give Tungi Club Mahindra resort 2 stars is primarily for 2 reasons:
(a) the approach road to the resort is terrible, and that too almost 12+ kms. At some point it felt like my car would breakdown, seriously!
(b) After such a long and terrible road trip, one expects the place would be much habitable and well kept. Going there was a put off - unlike most of the Club Mahindra resorts, this one was quite unwell kept. Room cleaning - sweeping/mopping was not done regularly. There was so much of dirt lying all around. Then the head rests smelled of somebody's hair oil, I could not even sleep. In the name of covid protocols/guidelines, the housekeeping wouldn't visit regularly. While this is understandable, what is not understandable is even with alternate day cleaning the place can be cleaned properly.

The resort visit was quite a disappointment

Buffet not palatable chandrima santosh madhu helped us, Rakesh is completly unhospitable.go for tungi trek.carry ready to eat meals lachha parathas from reliance or d mart they become crispy when heated properly

Amenities are still lacking. Even if the Amenities are available they are charged separately.seems greedy since CM charges it's members a fee. A kids trampoline was charged at Rs. 50.really? The trampoline is for the kids, let them have fun

It's an average experience, the approach road is very bad for 10 km, it should take 15 min, takes more than 30 min to reach the resort from the main turn off. There are sign posts, thankfully, for directions to reach.
View from the lobby / reception is spectacular! The rooms are CM standard but located far away from the main lobby and reception and views are not of the lake. We had a first floor room but didn't get the lake view.
There is an issue of power outage but generator kicks on.
Food is ok and due to the distance from Kitchen, room service is slow.
Try and reach post lunch as check in time is 2.00pm.
Also one has to eat from the restaurant as the bad road puts you off for any outside jaunts. No drinks available!
Good for a weekend outing

This 1 star is because it’s not worth becoming a club Mahindra member. Inspite of being a purple season member they don’t give us rooms for the dates we wish to visit. There is always a shortage of rooms. Their sales team give the members false promises of the room availability and when it comes to giving them booking they cannot give the rooms. They mostly sell their membership to to other customers for extra money while keeping members struggling for a room.
Not worth being a member of this club.

Great resort. The property they have is really nice, cozy and beautiful but the service is pretty average. The last 10 kms in the drive to the resort is terrible. There's literally no road!

To begin with, the location is seriously very inside.mostly one way. 1947 kind of roads.looks like post lockdown the management thot it's selling and hence nothing is in place.all activities looks like super ordinary.infact below ordinary.all carroms, chess even snake ladder is not maintained.now comes good thing.thet have awesome buffet.bkfast, lunch and dinner is awesome.ppl are very friendly and smiley.it's good place to do nothing and just relax.just relax. Awesome location once u reach.and then same way to reach good roads during checkout.hope this is a kind of mixed reviews.will suggest to go once and make your own memories.

Very beautiful greenery between the mountains. Fresh air with chirping birds gives a very good feel of nature.

I had lunch day before yesterday at their restaurant called ripples and I still haven’t been able to eat proper solid food. I would’ve understood if it didn’t suit just me but everyone who ate that food fell sick too. I spent most of my last day there throwing up after that lunch and when I spoke about this to the staff at the reception during checkout, she said I should’ve given a review to the restaurant that time itself which I obviously would have done if only I knew I’d be this miserable a few hours later. Your check out counter was understaffed and the lady at the reception is too rude to be in anything to do with hospitality. The balconies are so close to each other that i could hear each word of the conversation in the room above or next to mine. Please improve your restaurant food quality and train your staff to be nicer to people.

This is 5th time in last 10 years at CM Tungi. One of the most exotic resort by CM Spa is exclusive. And soothing experience. Food is good Hospitality is always best. I'm happy members of CM now share holder also

Tungi resort is a beautiful resort with diverse flaura and fauna! Nature walks in mornings and evenings are amazing experience. Food and service available in the resort is nice and decent! However, there should be more activities to get the adults involved. Since the 10 km approach road is very poor, the best available option would be to get engaged in some interesting activities rather than unnecessary going out of the resort via a horrific drive.

Overall, a good place for a break and rejuvenation!

One of the best Club Mahindra Resort following all Covid protocol and best service. Food is awesome but as costly as any other Club Mahindra Resort. They provide booking only once in year for members though I believe they sell some units to Non-members.

They have ample of activities in house. About 6 kms road is not good after you cross Cloud 9 Resort.

Second time we've been here and we absolutely love the location, rooms are good, staff was very cordial, food at club mahindra is typically very good and so was the case here too. A mini trial is a nice touch for kids. The gaming area is also nice. The basketball, badminton and volleyball court could be better maintained. Swimming pool was closed unfortunately due to restrictions. We came here 4 years ago and the road was bad then and its the same now. I know it's not in their hands to construct roads but I wish they were better. That's the only reason for 4 stars, otherwise it's definitely a 5 star place.

Super destination, lovely resort. Specially during Monsoons and Winters. Lovely scenic view, swimming, cycling, treking and many more activities to keep u occupied. Courteous staff and a beautiful place for staycation.

Very secluded, very silent and beautiful wide spread resort. Approach road around 10 kms is not easy to motor. Food is mouth watering, restaurant ambience is enjoyable. Staff is cooperative. The resort has definitely aged.

Not upto the mark. Food quality is very good. Ambiance may be due to covid has been effected. They are charging for small small things is not good for time share resort like club mahindra. People has trusted you a lot and taken a member ship. You taking heavy maintenance charges and ii spite of that you charging for cycle, trampolines etc. These little things may effect the mouth publicity of the club

It Rains intermittently in rainy season, it has a mesmerizing view with greenary and fogs many times over the fort hill nearby.

Had a very pleasant stay at this resort. Staff was very warm, helpful and friendly. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
Oout of the many highlights of this resort I found the views amazing. There aren't many places that could offer you impressive views at all times during the day. From the cloud hugging mountains to the starry nights, it was simply spectacular. There are many activities to indulge in here (cycling, table tennis, etc) and a huge lawn to sit and take in the sights.
All in all it was an incredible experience and I would recommend it as a great getaway destination

Disastrous experience and rude, egoistic staff and management. No decency and courtesy, stigma on hospitality business especially Mr. Rahul front desk, Amar, Megha and Santosh Singh senior manager. Beautiful property but mismanaged and ruined our anniversary celebration and traumatized by ceiling falling on us.not a courtesy to apologise or visit by management when we complained regarding same. Horrible nightmare.we visited many club Mahindra property butthis was horrendous experience. And we are club Mahindra members for last 13 years.

Best customer service and the view is breath taking and to die for. Being surrounded by mountains is a spectacular view. One thing to criticize is the road leading upto the resort, it is just awful and takes 30 mins to drive 6 kms!

Experience the nature in true sense.
On one side you see mountain and on the other lake view. Well maintained property and hospitable CMH staff.

We had a prior booking at the resort which was reconfirmed several times with ETA. We reached the resort at 3pm and had to wait 1.5 hours to get a room and check-in. We waited in an overcrowded small
lobby during pandemic conditions. Very disappointing experience, staff unable to handle the rush and not equipped for such crowds.

Fantastic experience Despite the heavy rains, enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Staff was warm & courteous. Restaurant was excellent. Room service, despite the torrential rains, was quick, and the food delivered was hot & efficiently packed. Would love to revisit.

A purple season member standing outside the gate requesting to use the restaurant, but this Chakravarty and Banerjee, resort manager did not even care to attend the intercom phone calls. Guys request pls avoid visitong such heartless, soul less only for profiteering Club Mahindra. For them it's just money above customer service.

The service quality and the level of hospitality has gone down drastically. They are short staffed and are not able to cope up with the number of guests since the resort is always at 100% capacity. Seems like the resort is running into losses and hence have not hired more staff to cater to the number of guests that are staying at the resort. Worst experience so far in a club Mahindra property

It's a beautiful property with a great location. The drive through the forest is the best part. The view from the rooms is amazing, with lots of greenery around. The buffet spread is great, though the taste of food is good, but can be better. Housekeeping service is great and the overall upkeep of the property is good.

Over all Good only thing is too far from Lonavala or khandala (1hr driving) and even road is not good

Club Mahindra Tungi is one the best Club Mahindra properties. The serenity and the scenic beauty of the location makes you forget that you are just 2.5 hours away from the hustle & bustle of Mumbai. Rest of the job is done by the scrumptious and extensive buffet. A must visit for everyone whether you are a Club Mahindra member or not.

A quiet place not too far from Bombay or the hustle or Lonavla. Good for a 3-4 getaway from the noise of the city. Club Mahindra service levels are evident here too, so no complains on that. Approach roads could be better maintained.

Fantastic piece of property right in the middle of nowhere. Must visit if you live in Maha and enjoy rustic weekend getaways.

It would be a great decision of you steered clear of these scums at Club M. I have been their member and trust me it is certainly not worth at all. For the amount of their membership fee, you'd be better off going out and holidaying at all the better properties.

And I'm not even complaining about the cost. ThaThe trauma you'd face after you've taken the member is completely not worth it. Their members response.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway, especially in monsoon. Large well maintained luxurious rooms, marvelous cuisine and food for breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable rates, very kind, professional, trained staff from the doorman to the restaurant managers, and the Club Mahindra customer first approach all make the stay a memorable experience.

I have Mahindra membership since 2018 never have been able to book here. Every time I call for the booking they hold the line and many a times disconnect while still the discussion is on-going. Never have they called back too. Highly disappointing

One of the best located resorts in Lonavala! Facing the Tung Fort on one side and Lake Pavna on the other, this expansive property is a must visit for families. Add to that various activities inside the resort keep children and other family members busy and help create some beautiful holiday memories.

A three star resort with spacious Greenery and hill station view, cool and comfortable climate, around 25km far away from Lonavala, though expensive, not suitable for lower class family as fooding is highly costly.

Sprawling and beautifully curated resort. The spa was closed because of coronavirus directives, but the rest was amazing.

The resort is world class but the trip to get there is bit hard because of the harsh conditions of the road full of water is due to the rain

I went there for the view and the infinity pool. All together an amazing getaway far from the city a little difficult to drive as the roads are horrible but once you reach there its blissful.

Property is nice.with a view of Pawna lake. Overview of hill and greenery that we need as a break from the daily routine.

The only pain is the last 10 km of the road. Actually we can't call it a road. Mahindra should really do something about it. It has been years the condition is the same. That route is shared by Mahindra and Hilton properties.they should chip in to build that road.

Its a lovely place with lot of nature around. Club Mahindra has maintained the jungle part so well that u can see a lot of birds & butterflies. Great place to relax, have morning & evening walks. Excellent food. Great holiday.

Club Mahindra Holiday Resorts are always a pleasure to enjoy and relax. We have been to several times to various of their properties. The major problem we always is having with reservations department. Always we have the most befitting answer, that the resort is booked for the requested dates. Sometimes after persistently requesting, we do get positive response and confirmation. The hospitality staff is fairly flexible and good. Food is always good.

Serene place, awesome food, good hospitality, over all a great place to visit and spend quality time with family.

Place is beautiful, rooms are amazing. But getting here, last 9km is tough due to bad roads, staff is trying hard, but not able to cope up, Mahindra call centre totally useless.
But once you've gone though all the hassles its still an enjoyable experience.
Learn to walk again in the beautiful green large expansive laid out resort.
Due to pandemic, many activities, swimming pool etc are curtailed and not likely to start again soon.
Place gets 5 stars, services n last 9 miles get 2 star, makes it verage 3stars

Heaven on earth.a total detox in the midst of the pandemic. Excellent standards of hygiene maintained at the Resort. A special mention and thanks to Chef Santosh who provided us with excellent meals. The newly renovated Chinese Room is worth a mention.

One of finest resorts ever seen in India as per location. Beautiful weather, Good amenities, Homely staff makes a stay delightful & worth. But the road of about 5 KM is very bad. Also swimming pools & major activities haven't yet started due to pandemic.

Place is good, full of greenery but service is pathetic.

1. If Your rooms are far from restaurant.u have to call 3-4 times for battery car to pick u up

2. In buffet lunch/dinner you have to wait good amount in line as no one present to serve you.staff is limited.

A fantastic place, great ambience, great food in both restaurants, very polite and friendly staff, you see a lot of birds. Only the approach road is very bad, but the resort more than makes up for it

Nice location, this is our 3rd visit to the resort, nice food, rooms are well maintained, activities are for all age groups. Only drawback is the last 10km road which is pathetic. We know Club Mahindra team must be trying hard with the Government authority. Hopefully it will be sorted soon.

The stay at the resort was wonderful and the staff is also quite experienced and friendly. The problems that I faces here were 1. There are no restaurants nearby and you are forced to eat the expensive food at the resort. The quality and taste of the food is great no doubt but the prices keep on doubling every year or so.
2. The dishes made during breakfast or lunch and used again during dinner buffet by just changing the ingredients a bit guess the chef there is a bit less creative in terms of inventing new flavours. Any common man can come to know about this for example during my stay I saw that there was steamed ticw in the lunch menu and there was jeera rice in the dinner menu. In order to verify that the dishes were reused I ordered steamed rice with green peas in al-a-carte menu but what i got was jeera rice with green peas.

Nothing which can be termed as a wow experience. Everything was average. Road leading to the resort after crossing bushi dam (approx 9kms) is in pathetic state.

I really loved this place. But for reaching the resort you have to travel 10 kms inside and road is not well lit, its not properly built also its really dangerous

Good place but the road to it is in very bad state and it is quiet in the interior too. Once in, difficult to go for sight seeing but nice place to relax and de-stress

Very good resort with lake and hill view. You also get an "off-roading" for the last 10 kms to reach the resort. A coupke of months down the line, only SUVs maight be able to negotiate the road. Food spread for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was awesome. If staying there better ask for 1st floor apartments for a good view.

Resort is in the interior. You have to travel lots to get there and the condition of road is poor. But the trip is worth it. Humongous property and best view rooms available

Its a great weekend getaway from the hustle of the city. Calm and serene location overlooking the Tungi fort on one side and lake Pavna on the other. The property is spread over a vast expanse with lots of activities to indulge in. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff courteous. Room service is very very slow, perhaps due to the fact that the rooms are spread out through the property.

The property is nice but there isn't much to do because the place is far outside the city. The place itself is so big that you need transport to go to the restaurant or even the lobby. Along with an amazing landscape view, there's a nice swimming pool, a basketball court and a fun area which has a couple of games and activities. There are two restaurants in the property - both overpriced. 500+₹ for the simplest of dish which tastes below average. Definitely not worth. The hotel staff is very supportive. Overall a scenic place, best enjoyed with a big group. Getting some eatables of your own is highly recommend as the food is really bad and overpriced.
