Daffodils 23 veg restaurant & bar

If you don't have Club membership, you will not be allowed to sit inside and will only be allowed to sit outside without AC. No lights outside. Staff is very rude. They don't provide hand-wash bowls or sounf/mukhwas. If you don't have club membership, they will treat you bad and will include illegal high Service Charge without permission. If you see Service Charge in your bill, ask them to remove it or else they won't remove it.

Also insist for a cooler which they will provide for 5 minutes before moving to another direction to make you leave early.

Prices are crazy. Overrated as compared to the bad quality of service they provide.

This new outlet in Kandivali is a game changer for Daffodils 23 with a lounge and restaurant with amazing ambiance and great music. It feels like the menu is put together with utmost thought as it is vast yet very suitable to the vibe of the place.

We started off with mocktails - Orange Blossom, hits right in the mind as it's refreshing and pairs well with almost everything.

Malai Paneer Tikka - six large pieces of paneer marinated in mild sweet flavour of malai and freshness from the tandoor. Served with coleslaw and mint chutney

Chilli Milli Tikki - these were my favourite with the excellent blend of all spices and topped with bell peppers and ketchup. It was served along with mint chutney and it definitely leaves you craving for more.

For mains - Paneer Sufiyana Masala - we thought of trying something new with the same old paneer sabzi for vegetarians and was recommended this dish. I was in love with this sabzi as it was a perfect in taste with mild spicy in taste. The taste of garlic was prominent and it made the dish stand out for me. Highly recommended along with butter kulcha/roti.

We ended with the basic strawberry icecream as we were quite full and couldn't order some other dessert, but the brownie and icecream with chocolate sauce is something on my list for the next visit for sure.

They have 2 sections one in the indoor and the other one is open area, the inside one is only for club members.
The place is quite lively they have some music being played.
We had the Italian bruschetta and kebab for starters they were too good. The Italian bruschetta was something and was mind blowing highly recommend.

For mains we had pink sauce pasta it was nice and the quantity was really good.

Overall the quality of the food is amazing also they have worked well on presentation

Daffodils is one of the finest vegetarian restaurants in the suburbs and finally they have a branch in Kandivali West just opposite KES. The place is quite big with both AC & Non-AC sections. The ambience is quite good with different types of seating.

Coming to food, this is what we tried for dinner:
MOCKTAILS:
Watermelon Punch
This was the fresh watermelon juice mixed with some soda and ice. It was good in taste.
GUAVA CHATKA MARRY
This was guava juice and it was a bit spicy and sweet. The glass was coated with red chili powder and salt on the sides for enhancing the taste.

STARTERS
Jaipuri Tikki
These were 6 pieces of fried tikkis which were cripsy and had a vegetable filling.
BBQ Paneer
This was a Chinese style starter with medium sized paneer pieces tossed in BBQ Sauce. It was a bit on the sweeter side so check accordingly.

MAINS
Veg Dahiwala & Roti
We tried this mixed subzi which had veggies as well as paneer in a mild spicy red-brown gravy. It was quite good in taste, the quantity was enough for 2 persons.
Mexican Rice with Rancho Sauce
This was a Mexican type rice with beans in it. It was served with a salsa type sauce and nacho chips. The salsa was a bit too sweet and rice was a bit bland.

DESSERTS
Chocolate Ice Cream
It has 2 scoops of regular chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate sauce.

Overall, I really loved the food here, it is perfect for vegetarians and Jain people. The food is not too spicy and the quantity is also sufficient.

Worst place.food quality is not at all good.dirty wash room and wash basin, no valet parking. Not at all worth.

Very poor service. Waiters not bothered to serve you. Nothing "wah" in food. Just star rated non quality restaurant. Food much expensive as compared to other good restaurants.
It is full as may be people just want to eat outside although they do not serve any quality. Will never visit again ever. This is my 2nd bad experience with Daffodils. I remember once owner forcefully shifted us to other seats since he wanted to make room for others. Such is the attitude of management who want to show we don't care for customers we have thousands in line waiting outside.

I visited Daffodils23 restaurant and Bar couple of days back. This place is located in Kandivali west. This was very cossy and cool place with outdoor seating. It has really very cute and spacious outside seating arrangements. I ambience of this place is genuinely really great.
The place was really specious. Staff was really helpful and kind towards us. They treated us really well.
What we had
Blue lagoon
This was really great and refreshing drink we had. The taste was too great.
Virgin Pinacolado
This was a tasty pineapple drink served with pineapple slice.
Paneer hilltop
This was a good paneer starter with cheese topped on it and grilled. Very well presented dish.
Veg noodles roll
This was another new dish we tried and totally enjoyed it. This was roll of noodles served with toppings of cheese
Green pease masala with kulcha and missi roti
This was also a great main course and roti was tasty and masla was yummm.
Exotic veg chopper rice
This was tasty rice served with massla gravy.
Ice Cream
Last but not the least ice cream topped with cheery and dry fruits it was also very delightful and yummy
We overall enjoyed the food and service. Really great place to visit must try️

Extremely bad experience, due to rain the encroached space outside the restaurant its ceiling was leaking and I got wet. The food was not very good compared to its price. I would not visit again.

It is in open space.so in Kandivali - w, there is no such type of Rest. & Bar, very cool place to chill out.sitting arrangement was unique.

This place has a lovely ambiance with some delicious food options they have varieties of dishes including Italian, North Indian. Drinks wine and cocktails are available as it’s a bar too. It’s a restaurant that serves good food with a pretty good vibe and ambiance. The happening environment with dj is so enjoyable. Nice place to visit with friends.

Everything is ok but services is not that's! You require skilled staff who gives satisfied to your customers, 2nd once you took a order of 10 plates of Mendu wada Idli mixed and serving some 8 person's and for 2person your staff saying that (khatam hogaya nahi de payenge) and that is at morning 10.00 am that's filled bad, so pl do the needful other Wise taste whise very good our school Reunion group visiting every month of 1st and 2nd Sunday at your Daffodil's 23. Since last two three months so pl take care of it

The place doesn't have a AC section as it is reserved only for club members, food was mediocre and nothing interesting, the ambience was good, the service wasn't great and was quite slow

Worst 1st time experience. They dnt even care if guest are standing at the enetrance when the restaurant is full empty then also. Riya misguided us for happy hours and menu. Please dnt visit.

Nice food and good Ambiance.

We tried first time as it is newly opened. Food was just above Ok. However the service quality and timings of bringing food was pathetic. I understand if it was weekend but we went there on a Wednesday and left us very unimpressed and embarrassed in front of invited guests. We spent almost 2 hours at table with waiting time contributing almost 1 hour in between ordering and actual food coming.

Service was not good, we waited for almost 2 hours to receive our dinner and got to know that waiter didn't even booked our order as there was rush and he completely forgot meanwhile.

Really bad service and ill-mannered waiters. Food was below average. The place is overpriced in accordance with the service it provides.

Food was Great. However the Service was Pathetic special in terms of time taken to deliver food. I wanted to order a Sizzler but the waiter told me it can take upto an hour which was ridiculous. I can understand it was a Sunday but still these guys need to improve on service.

They were not very comfortable with my booking, as they were on the verge of kicking me out of the restaurant don't know what's the reason they may know so.

Food is good but service is pathetic, we booked ta le for 9: 30 and were alloted table at 10: 30. There were very less service personals, The table next to us got their staters served after they had finished their main course. Would like to give negative marking for service.

We are regular visiter and lover of this place. This time inspire of having half of tables vaccant attandent told to wait for 35 minutes. After asking she gave reason that we have 2 table of 6 that can not b given to 4 person. And let US go to another place.and v left the place. May God save their business.

Recently been to this place! A good place for family dining, serving variety of dishes. Enterance of this place is super cool with colorful upside down umbrellas hanging. Ambience and service is pretty good. We had ordered loads of starters to start with and ended up with starters only, as it was too filling. Paneer, mushrooms, manchurian, etc, variety to order from for starters. Lasagne and Enchiladas were too cheesy and thick with veggie stuffed, tastes amazing. Coming to desserts, which is my favourite part. We had ordered sizzling brownie and sizzling deep fried oreos, both were just yumm, i actually dont have words to describe how good these desserts were. After all, its the dessert that completes your meal and these desserts definitely did their job very well. A must try from Daffodils.

Worst service ever seen in any other restaurant.the service quality and food was pathetic. Manager has no manners to talk. It took more than 1 hr for serving a single order.and when spoke to manager about this, he reverted saying we are helpless.the vegetable that we ordered and the dish we got was different. The starter that we ordered never came on our table.
Management of daffodil. Please improve before it's too late.

Most worst service. Only 3 person is to serve more than 40 people. Not able to handle Customer. Manager Me. Kuldeep Singh is not come to attend us on our request more than 5 times. Hotel staff is repeated that they informed Manager but Mr. Kuldeep is not ready to come.

They serve delicious sizzlers but we wanted to try their Mexican cuisine so dint order them. They are quite popular & piping hot sizzlers smelt amazing while coming out of the kitchen

Our Appetisers were more of Indian / Chinese mix whereas we preferred Mexican cuisine in our Main Course along Pav Bhajji Fondue & Thai Green Curry.

I would suggest have their indian, Chinese appetisers & go for their Mexican main Course instead of fondue, pizzas & pasta which is common elsewhere.
Their Mexican food especially lasagna & enchiladas are delicious, well cooked, great stuffed & oozes with cheese

We were so stuffed that we couldn’t order desserts even though we wanted to try them out.

Their Coolers / Mocktails can improve & reduce in the sweetness portion. Found it too sweet for my liking.

OVERALL SUMMARY
Elaborated Menu, full bar available, good quality, decent quantity, polite staff, quick service @ reasonable prices make daffodils 23 perfect for regular visits as a couple, with family or in large groups.

Service is horribly slow. Basic things like water was served after asking 2 to 3 times. Bad experience.

Place good for around 100 to 200 people, nice service and organised. Good lighting and arrangements overall nice food and parking available

One of the best restaurants in malad for vegetarians! Tops my chart in almost every aspect! Good work

Nice place, their weekend entertainment plan includes a joker. Which is fun for kids. The singers also are a hit.

Worst staff, worst manhandelling. Food was ok, but the glass had smell of alcohol. One of the guy didn't except the offer stating that its is only for take away.
Recommend you not to take or dine over here.

Perfect place for hosting any event. They have lots of options to suit your need, and the people are very helping in nature.

I attended a Sangeet function today and when we were leaving at 11 pm, the reception lobby was smelling of sewage/potty. I think they have some sewage problem in the building which has not been fixed. Very unpleasant experience

Good veg food. However it is on link road, often heavy traffic area, mostly due to metro work in progress. Parking available.

It's a bunch of halls, right from ground to third floor; where I visited. May be more halls on upper floors. But no display board at the entrance to enable visitors guidance. No Mike arrangement. Light arrangement at entrance dòors is also troublesome. Buffet arrangement very good.
