Had a yummy lunch of beer and Mutton Dhansak which was cooked to perfection, caramel custard and chocolate mousse was also just the right sweetness and consistency.
Diamond Resto and bar is located in Lonavla market just near the bus stand an amazing place with a very good ambience and food. The food quality was very good we tried their mocktail and cocktail. In food we had tangdi kabab which was cooked well was very much juicy. We also had Gulab Jamun and chocolate moose which was very much fresh and tasty, restaurant parking space is very small
The best place in lonavala for lunch and dinner with family or friends, g8 ambiance and OSM food taste. They also serve drinks. A must try dish dal khichadi it's the yummy.
Good food. Courteous staff. We were full and wanted to try something light so we went for starters only and took kabab platter (for 9 ppl) It had 24 different types of kabab. It was not in the menu but the staff suggested this and it was good. Ambience is just ok. Not so great but clean place.
Worst restaurant I had ever visited, starter are just waste of money, and staff is very rude, ordered stuffed kulcha and served plain kulcha and that to after 30 mins, Hairs are served in eating plates.
A good bar. It's on the main road on the left when going towards the Railway Station. The only issue can be of parking a four wheeler, rest the alcohol prices are affordable and the food both veg and non-vegetarian are nice.
Staff is very much unprofessional. There is gender discrimination. They have seperate space for so called family where they accomodate anyone unmarried couples or anyone if ur accompanying a girl with u. And another space just for only males which is like ur sitting on a road. The staff discriminated on the basis of what clothes ur wearing and how many girls u have with u. Food is 3rd class no manners and specially manager who is very rude and misbahaving. Sorry to say but this place is worst then any bar or restaurant in the Lonavala town.
Not so cool as it look.highly unprofessional.to enter the restaurant, one should have girls or ladies with them, otherwise youhave to sit roadside. Multiple male friends/customers are not considered as family.
Unprofessional staff. You order and wait for 50 min and it’s still not prepared and you are asked to wait for another 15-20 min. It says ‘since 1978’ but I guess they still need to learn To manage regular evening traffic.
I like the food apart from the chicken lollipop its a lot of flour that they use fir the coating. Sadly it wasn't even chicken lollipop I felt for a while. Staff are help full and are always present to cater to your need.
Stopped for a quick bite. Had chicken dum biryani. Was good. Tough to get parking, had parked about 100 m from the restaurant and walked. Smiling staff. Nice ambience. Cozy place.
Food is ok. Not that great. We ordered both veg and non veg food in Chinese. Veg fried rice was awful-2. Veg Manchurian was ok-4. In non veg chicken tandoori was very good - 4. Chicken biryani was good - 3.5.
Good Place. To have a few drinks with your friends as well as dinner with your family. Neat and clean. Hindi Live song is superb. Should go once. Rates seems to be little bit on higher side.
The place has wonderful ambiance. The service is quick and pleasent. The food was not upto mark. They are definitely overpriced. They do offer alcohol. Also a projector which plays the cwc games.
Great ambience and tasty food. Though the amount of species being used in the food is very high but it tastes good. Chicken dishes especially are good, fish dishes were okay. Bit pricey though. Also it does not have its own parking for 4 wheeler so if you are going though 4 wheeler you need to find a good spot before reaching to hotel and traffic on the road is always high.
Damn good service and excellent food! Travelling all the way till Lonavala and want to stop by for a delicious meal - IT HAS TO BE THIS PLACE!
I loved their non vegetarian dishes more than veg though. Thier butter roti's where super soft and I really felt like I was having naan. Their kulcha's and heavy and tasted good too!
Tried butter garlic prawns for appetizers and loved it. Though I would suggest they use bigger sized prawns since the quality was amazing, but quantity seems to be less because of the size.
Similarly with prawns fried rice, I felt they used really tiny sized prawns hence it lacked the expected taste and felt more like egg fried rice.
Thier boondi raita's and pineapple raita's were good and we repeatedly order for those.
We also tried Dal Gosht (mutton) which was something I tried for the first time. Not very fond of mutton but still tried the Dal / gravy. It had a very strong flavour and taste of the mutton pieces.
The management and staff were very polite and quick. The place kept being crowded and people kept coming in so the place was always full. But the staff took care of all our needs and requirements. And even after so many tables being full, they did get our non vegetarian dishes on time which was great. (Not too early / late)
Eleven of us went to Diamond Resto & Bar for a friend's birthday. The service was very quick. The drinks are very reasonable. The mocktails, in particular were very refreshing.
We ordered paneer chilly, veg manchurian, and a few other starters. All of them complimented the drinks well. The main course (Veg Afghani) that they suggested though, was not all that great. We asked for something spicy, but this was extention bland.
All in all, it was a good experience. Suitable for a good time with family and friends.
