Fariyas Resort Lonavala

The resort is really very good but the food prices are way too high.
I would really recommend to work upon it.

The hotel is clean & well maintained. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping & restaurant are all very helpful.

I felt that the À la carte is a bit over priced. Other than that everything about Fariyas is excellent.

I think this place is overhyped and also overpriced. Rooms were okaish. Food was also average. Everything is overpriced. Just the water rides were good. But certainly not going again.

The room was very bad there very so many types of insects I couldn't sleep properly. The food was soo expensive I don't know why.

A hotel from the time you step in you feel warm and welcoming, excellent place to stay, courteous staff, excellent food and service vfm

each and every staff, may it be the valet, security guards, housekeeping, restaurants staff are cheerful, helpful and caring.the management is excellent and very well managed with people like F&B head Anil Tanterpale always welcoming with a smile, looking after each table having a good time, same with the Sous Chef, I can go on with the list.rooms are very well maintained and up to date, they have a excellent bar to enjoy

Resort is Good not much better for Living.
If you have Any Conference here please don't go with them.
They have monopoly here Regarding everything.
If you face any issue during Conference or need any support. They do not co-operate and ask for Extra charges for Normal Things.

I lost my business and got worst experience.

Their vendors are very cheap, they argument with People here and many more.

Resort with water park (non operational due to covid restrictions). We'll maintained property.

Loved thier great Service and excellent buffet tastey food.

Large room with all facilities but Rooms need refurbishing especially all bathroom utilities lost its shine.

Check in and checkout process was very pathetic and was too kiotic due to marriage events happening and understaffed during the check in and checkout time.

Nice resort at lonavala. Good property with very good service and pleasant location. Food was decent. It has water slides and rain dance area.

Well maintained property and courteous staff. I stayed here for almost a week for a corporate training program and had a comfortable stay. Awesome spread of buffet which is diversified to suit people travelling from different parts of India. Lot of activities are available for recreation and the swimming pool is awesome. Would recommend this property for both leisure travellers as well as corporates.

Food is good.nice staff.but rooms are not upgraded.low lights.if u wants to get ready it's difficult in night lamps.

This is the best resort I have ever visited. It has alot amenities like a private waterpark of the resort. You get to experience every single adventure activity free of cost, if you stay. The food is also very delicious and safe too. They even follow safety instructions and guidelines due to Covid-19 pandemic. #1 Resort in Lonavala

Very beautiful location.great view from rooms.
Rooms are big with a balcony.
Bathrooms are medium sized with all necessary toiletries.
Food is yummy n a good layout.hygene mostly maintained.
Staff very decent n courteous.
Best part is the resort where kids as well as adults can have loads of fun.worth a visit.

Good stay for the weekend. Would have liked a room with a better view but the resort was quite crowded. Limited veg starters in the lunch buffet was a disappointment. Also, the packed breakfast had just a sandwich and a few muffins and juice - expected better than that. Overall a good option for a weekend getaway from Mumbai.

This place is just okay to stay. Room size is sufficient but bathrooms are extremely small.
Room service was terrible. I stayed there for 4 days with two meals, breakfast and dinner included in package.

I had my small kid with me who wasn't comfortable to be fed at hotel dining area. Everytime we asked the room service to send some food for kid in our room, the manager would say it's chargeable and we were required to explain each time, which was quite annoying.

The housekeeping cleaned our room after day 1 of our stay quite well but from next day onwards it was quite untidy with missing towel replacement in bathroom and we had to ask for it later every day.

The food options were limited with repetitive dishes. They served mutton only on Saturday, for rest days there were only one dry chicken dish in dinner.

There was water dripping from ceiling in the reception area which made it unsafe for kids.

Now coming to pros
The water park and swimming pool was quite fun for all age group.
There is a kids play area too, but it's chargeable.

One can stay there if get a cheaper deal. It is more crowded on Friday till Sunday morning. To avoid crowd and get cheaper deal, go on week days.

Amazing place to stay and for cuisine.one of the classic food spreads available and the Chef has got magical fingers to satisfy the tastebuds of most. Large property to wander off at over the weekend situated in the serene Fricherly hills in lonvala and very near to the Mumbai-Pune express way.

It’s a beautiful property with a stunning view. Delicious food, extremely courteous staff. I’ve been there twice in the last 6 months and it’s always been an extremely relaxing and lovely stay! I recommend visiting them during the week days (mon to thurs) as the weekends are quite packed. They even have activities planned during the day, and a few sports activities if you’re travelling with children they will definitely be occupied. Their swimming has opened for use and they have a rain shower and a slides.

The property is good and a big resort with few good water activities, service is good and room service was prompt. Food is over priced and okay. Menu items in room service are limited, breakfast spread was good. Food could be better and reasonable priced.

Resort is great with great mountain view room. Food is great and staff is too good everyone is polite and ready to help in any manner.

Got its own water park, heated indoor pools etc. The food here is awesome. Really good food. And their Tea, Masala Tea, really really great, don't miss it! We love it!

Been here twice and I haven't been bored of it. It's neither too disturbingly noisy nor super calm of a place, which is perfect to relax and have some adventure activities around or simply enjoy the pool.
Service was excellent but food kept wanting us for more taste.
Overall it's an enjoyable stay here all the time.

One of the best 5* resorts you can go to in Lonavala. Well maintained, good food, great support staff, great place for all ages. Must go once.

The property is expansive, have all ingredients for lesisurly vacation. Rooms are big and clean. Food was great. Very close to Lonawala town. Only nuisance some time is train sounds as it overlooks (from distance) railway track.

This resort might be titled 5 star when it was build but now can't be tilled as 5 star as the facilities of rooms are not that good, view is certainly beautiful from balcony, food is also wonderful, indoor swimming pool and other water rides are best option to have fun.

The rooms have antique furniture & decor, clean bathrooms with a bathtub.

Amazing indoor pool.water is maintained at warm temp. My baby loved this indoor pool as compared the outdoor pool that was v cold.

Variety of food esp non veg food was v poor. Almost like 2-3 dishes of non veg in entire buffet. Also not that tasty
Veg spread was quite extensive
Similarly the breakfast spread has a good variety. But repetitive items on both days of our stay.

Activities were good- cycling, badminton, table tennis, archery but they are all paid.
Carrom and zip lining are free
There is a v nice kids play zone. My baby enjoyed it thoroughly

Good lawn area for a walk and to play cricket

Staff were all helpful & co-operative

Would recommend this resort for a 2-3 day stay.

Great Hotel, courteous staff, quick service, variety of indoor games-water park, indoor/outdoor pools, kids play area has well stocked with toys, only drawback is very limited food menu, breakfast buffet is good. Special Thanks to Ms. Puja -Hostess, Mr. Arup- restaurant team member for their friendly behaviour.

Hi all, I Visited this hotel during a short trip from Mumbai to Pune we went there for a quick bite. We found the staff is very good and quite helpful, also lobby was quite impressive. We had some lite snacks along with the Tea and we were not very happy with the taste. Tea was quite OK but the snacks which we ordered was below expectation overall our experience was average. Maybe we will visit again to find out more about this property. I have attached few photos here, this might help you in taking a call about the hotel.

Excellent Resort! Among the top 2 in Khandala/ Lonavala area. Ms. Puja Sen (Hostess) was extremely hospitable and helpful towards our family!

We recently visited the hotel for a weekend staycation. The property is very well maintained and looks beautiful in the monsoons. Huge shoutout to the staff as everyone was very courteous and professional. We were travelling with our 4 month old baby and the staff made sure we had a crib in the room. They have a nice and well maintained heated indoor swimming pool and a mini water park with slides, perfect for a nice swim. I forgot my headphones in our room. One we reached home, i immediately got a call from the hotel asking if I had forgotten it and were kind enough to courier it to me the very next day. I would highly recommend it to anyone travelling with family and small children.

Its a renowned place for a reason. All time favourite family resort. There are games and swimming pools for kids to enjoy. The scenic view from the resort is really good and the service and hospitality are remarkable. Its located in the heart of Lonavla. Good breakfast buffet. Would surely recommend for people from any age group.

Very very bad experience.all 4 of us who stayed here came down with food poisoning.one of us got it during our stay, the others got 3-4 hours after checkout.someone in the room opposite us was also down with food poisoning.served us stale food, there were flies all around the food

Good place for kids as there is a water park and good play area. Food can be better per 5star standards. Rooms in general need new decor. The designs are decors are 2 decade old.

I had the privilege of staying with friends and family for two nights at your beautiful resort, Fariyas Resort was the perfect place to get away for a few days and we enjoyed every minute. We were given one of the rooms in the original part of the hotel that overlooked the hills. It couldn’t have been any better. The Fariyas Resort was truly a place I will long remember.

One of the oldest star hotels in Lonavala.has lost its charm.the room allotment process is shabby in particular by a certain personnel called Amit. Rooms and it's washrooms, elevators, lobby and lounge are all congested. View from the balcony is pathetic (PL see pic). The garden on the backside remain locked for guests in case they want to take a stroll, the guests need to go outside the hotel premises.lunch n dinner have nice spread more or less similar but bad for stomachs.breakfast too looks good but somehow doesn't digest well.the pool has temperature maintained, but sadly the water gives red eyes (may be high in urine). There are stuffs like rope sliding, slides etc in the backdrop for guests - but when u reach for the hotel at 12.and wait till 2.30 to get a room by the time we finish the lunch it would be 4, we hardly get time.to enjoy these facilities which close at 18.30.it was a total turnoff for Lonavala.pl stay for 2 days if your pocket permits, as this would help you avail their rides etc to fullest.they alao have a swimming pool which has water temperature adjusted. Breakfast has a good spread.

Place is good for stay cation. But its not worth the cost if you are traveling now during covid. Many activities are not happening. Due to covid even the food options are limited. The buffet was sad and dinner buffet options had veggies like turai and peas! Felt like hospital

Well in theses covid times, Lonavala is the most convenient hill station near Pune and Fariyas resort is a classic treat. It's an old yet maintained resort with touches of modern infrastructure.
It's very convenient to reach there since it's close to highway (around 3-4 kms). We stayed in suite but we got to see other rooms as well and they are spacious and well maintained and gives a perfect view of mountains from all the rooms. We loved our stay and we got to watch the sunset everyday from the comfort of own suite's balcony. The food and service there is also very satisfactory. They have a separate kitchen for Veg and Non veg, which can be a very big pointer for some. Their pool and water slides looked fun but unfortunately it was closed because of covid.
They have several indoor and outdoor games in which you can indulge with your kids, family or spouse. They have a separate kids play room as well.
They were following proper social distancing, sanitization and mask protocols, so we felt more than safe roaming around here and there in the property.
So at last I would say, that it's a perfect resort for your weekend getaway with your loved ones.

The buffet experience and varieties was not too good as expected. Surprisingly no soft drinks were available. The cucumber was so bitter, carrots were so dry, howcome the chef didn't even check.
The desserts served was with holi theme. How can one have all colorful sweets, the ice cream was tasting bad equally!

I would strong suggest, please don't waste time and money on Fariyas buffet.

It was my birthday in January, and my wife and I wanted to give ourselves the much needed time outside the monotony that the lack of space and continuous work from home had gotten to us in Mumbai. Fariyas Resort Lonavala is a name that would reverberate in our minds for the impeccable cleanliness and customer service which is very hard to achieve, given the safety measures in/post this pandemic. Thank you to the management team and the staff at Fariyas for making our stay a memorable one. I'm already missing the picturesque view of the sunset from the balcony of the suite, that was offered to us as an upgrade followed by a birthday cake from the resort. Thank you Mr. Ray for your kindness. Breakfast was scrumptious too. Would come back again.
Suggestion: Dinner options- It would be great to also have a restaurant serving Asian cuisine available at the property. Not sure if we missed on noticing one.

Nice property in Lonavla- loved the pool with slides and also the room (though views from the rooms are not anything u can boast of). Food is good - especially liked the extensive breakfast spread. Cannot miss the masalla chai from the dedicated counter at breakfast. Ample parking space.

The rooms are quite spacious.bt they are very old fashioned.u dont feel like u hv come to a hotel or resort.it feels more like a dharamshala.although lobby and food spread is pretty nice and kids enjoy water park and adventure activities here.thr are art and craft helper, kids play area to keep kids engaged.bt for rooms.dont expect evn 4 star kinda property.the furnitures are old.

Had gone to Fariyas Resort for a wedding, a beautiful resort with excellent staff. I would surely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Lonavala

Good resort, but the food option is limited and repeated every day.
Alacart is too costly, better you opt for MAP Plan. Rooms are cosy but comfortable.
Swimming pool is clean and has enough staff to maintain and supervise the same. Please carry your own swimming costume without which no one is allowed.
They have activities for inhouse guest especially for children.
Overall had a great stay.

Facilities and rooms are not like 5 star, bathroom space is very and very tough to maintain cleanliness, no carpet not even bedside rugs are in room.you have to ask for everything to provide even basic things like slippers, body lotion etc.positive point is friendly staff and water park.

This us one of the oldest resort in the hill station of Khandala. So it has an old world charm. During the monsoon the place becomes really beautiful. The location is very scenic.

When you visit Lonavala you have to stay on this resort if you have budget.

Why this resort is little bit costly.
But if you really want to fell Lonavala than must stay here and fell the Lonavala.

It was fun celebrating diwali. There were a lot of activities arranged for the season, especially for kids. Food was ok. But sweets were too good.
