Foliage Outdoors

I went on a 6-day trip to Jodhpur and Bera with my family. We stayed at Balsamand Lake Resort in Jodhpur, a beautiful private estate with plenty of open space, peacocks, manicured lawns, orchards, and a lake. Resort had excellent service, the food was good, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We enjoyed exploring the resort grounds during our morning walks. We visited Mandore Gardens, Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, and a few other places during our stay in Jodhpur.

Bera is an open sanctuary where leopards and shepherds coexist to this day. We stayed at Varawal Leopard Camp, a tented accommodation that served delicious home-cooked food. The service was excellent. P. Pushpendra an avid naturalist, and he entertained us with stories, encounters and experiences of tracking and monitoring leopard families over the past decade. The safari crew drove us through cross-country rocky terrain with panache. Our safari drivers knew the topography intimately, which helped us see the leopards up close on multiple occasions. We also visited Jawai Dam and saw a variety of birds. Overall, it was an outstanding experience at the leopard camp.

The tour was well-organized, and we enjoyed every bit of it. We would love to revisit both places.

We went to Dubai - abudhabi trip (Jan 10 to 16,2024). It was a great experience altogether. We really had a perfectly planned trip via Foliage. I would like to specifically thank Ashutosh for all the support in planning the trip and also for being in touch during the trip to ensure that everything is going well.

Very well organised camps for kids. They take proper care of kids. Food is good and homely. I would recommend this for kids.

Overall management was not good, tour leaders were very young to show patience towards managing the tour. They were very rude and hardly cared for the personal health and routine of the kids. Girl's toilet (only 1 shared between 9) was not hygienic, dead rat was found inside and they did not bother to clean it up. Food stops and stay could have been better as compared to the charges. And the most unacceptable factor was that kids arrived 2 hours before scheduled time and were left unattended before pickup. Tour organizers simply left before handing over kids to the parents. Very poor experience with Foliage this time.

Very nice experience. All the team members are very nice. All Tai Dada is cool, cool.taking care of the children in a very good way, there are updates from time to time but the information about the trail is given in their language so that they can understand it. The children have a lot of fun. Thanks to All foliage Team

Had great experience in Tadoba. Sited tigers in all 4 Safari's. Foliage tours planned the iteniary perfectly. Hotel, traveling, Safari experience was great. Yash helped us, guided us through out the process, starting from inquiry to finally completing the tour. He was never tired in answering our querries. Looking forward for our next trip with Foliage.

Very well organised, safe and enjoyable camps for kids. I will highly recommend them for camping. Kids were very happy and learnt several life and social skills. Looking forward for many such camps for my kid.

Went for the manali snow trails camp, and it was an extraordinary experience. Missing those seven days terribly, a special shoutout to Raju Sir and Avishi Didi for their care and help without with this camp wouldn't have been possible! Looking forward for more camps with foliage

Our Safari camp tour with Foliage is one of the best camp experience. They have well planed the tour and executed it very well. All our Jeep safari were in core area which is difficult to get when you try through individual booking. Apart from safari we enjoyed tasty food, nimbu pani, fresh butter milk and evening snacks after each safari at our resort. It was pleasure to have Company of Mayuresh who was our camp leader. We returned with tons of unforgettable memories. Thank Foliage Outdoors.

My child enjoyed a lot amd it was very well managed event and their volunteers. Kids like the food atmosphere and tent living. Most amazing was all the activities. Would like to enroll again for different location. Kudos to all team.

One suggestion is- Foliage team should keep first aid box. Some kids got injured but foliage volunteers not looked at it and not did any medication

It was my son's first experience with such a camp and truly it did not disappoint at all. The meticulous planning, regular updates for parents, well executed- safe activities and the " child- friendly food"- they score very high on all these aspects. I would reccomend their camps and look forward to more of these.

Very well managed. My son came back and asked me if could go for another one again on the next weekend.

Amazing work from Team Foliage. Sent my son on a trip alone for the 1st time to Rishikesh. Heard all positive reviews from so many people and now I can proudly say that each review was genuine. Regular updates with pics, wonderful activities, good food and stay. Kids were taken good care of. My son said this was most tiring but wonderful experience of his life so far. I would say every child deserves 1 trip with Foliage.

She had amazing time, kids were not willing to come back from the trip
So many activities, fun and amazing food. Regular updates on what is going on pics shared, really hats off to the team.
Didi and Bhaiya were so friendly and inspiring, my daughter couldn’t stop talking about them and all the things she did there. She was happy to make New friends.
First time staying alone away from parents and adjusting to everything that is coming their way.
Definitely would recommend as a must to do activity for betterment of children especially to make them independent. Three cheers to foliage and its team

My son went to Koyna explorers camp with foliage outdoors. He had an amazing time overall. The staff, games, accomodation, food, kayaking, adventure activities were all a lot of fun. He wishes to go again

My daughter went to Chopta - Chandrashila trek from 27th May to 3rd June. It was indeed memorable experience for her.
Would like to thank Revati Pandit & Atharva Upadhyay, from bottom of my heart for taking really good care of my daughter. She is appreciating Revati tai & Atharva dada so much.
We were getting regular updates about the trek with pics. My daughter had some altitude sickness but Revati was witn her, comforting & motivating her.
I must say team work is awesome & they know how to deal with teenagers. Kudos to the training given to them.

My daughter's 3rd camp with foliage. Very good experience throughout the trek, food was very good, leaders were professionally trained and always ready to help. Very safe n secure environment for girl participants.
One suggestion to foliage team is if they could pre book the airlines tkts n then offer it at reduced rate for those who book bit late, more n more children will be able to join ur treks (we booked pretty late n air fares were too high atat time n for that reason few more of my daughter's friends cancelled the plan). I think no one should miss the opportunity to camp with foliage only bcoz of high air fairs.

Went there for "importance of nature" lecture booked by my school, very chill place, loved the nature and loved bird watching. Unexpected gifts and rules. You are supposed to not make any noise In there, they taught us basic of sign language like how to clap without making any noise.there was a question "all the tress that grow in difficult conditions, how can mankind learn from these tress? " They can make your mind think different ways. Still the the gift I got from over 2 years ago. Very nice place. Overall would go again.

This is the best outdoor company i have ever experienced. They give the best experiences one can ever have. Camping with Foliage Outdoors has always been a very memorable experience! Every small thing is taken care of so perfectly! It is one of the best outdoor organization I have ever seen and experienced. All the management staff are highly experienced talented and they do have and give us enough knowledge about the place and animals etc we gonna encounter. The food they provide us is also the best. So according to me it's like ' Paisa Vasool' camp and hence all should experience such camps.

My 11 year old daughter went for her first camp with Foliage. We were very anxious about how she will manage. However, right from the booking stage till the departure, it was a very pleasant and professional experience. The instructors, Mudita, Mihir and Tanishq were excellent in handling the children and displayed a fine balance of humor, discipline and care during all 3 days. The mere fact that my daughter wants to go for another camp soon speaks a lot of Foliage.the only area of improvement could be the quality of food, it can be slightly better. Keep up the good show, Team Foliage.

My daughter went on her first ever trek with Foliage Outdoors to Manali and she really enjoyed it thoroughly. All the arrangements were really good. The tour guides, all Dada and Tai to be more precise were very caring and at the same time made the kids enjoy every moment of the trek, Very nice information about nature, surroundings and trek was shared with the participants during the trek.
