I ordered lollypop it was only layes then waiter and captain took it and deep fried ir assuming we are a fool I told eat urself than too 400 was added to bill this is disgusting Santosh is the actual servent there rest all are chutya

Seating arrangement in congested, servuce is so-so and not much choice in food. Liquot lovers canbenjoy as they are allowed to bringbtheir own booze for a charge of course

There was only one person to serve in the whole family restaurant.
Also there were extra charges applied in the bill.
Not at all recommended.

Loved the food very much, must try chicken lollipop, paneer tikka and paneer kebab, what an amazing taste, am sure once you will have paneer from here, you will always love to have from here, do visit guys:)

Yesterday we visited over here, we loved this restaurants too much, the food taste and quality and quantity was too good, we had chicken tandoori which we never had before was too much tastier then other places, Must try

Extremely disappointing experience. The service was pathetic and slow. AC wasn't working.food quality was low (tasteless). The staff is hardly concerned about the guest. We had to call them everytime we had to order something. Legit spoil the mood.so if you ask my opinion so I will suggest not to dine in here.

Ambience is good. Service is good. I am a non alcoholic person. So I went just to taste the food, so i ordered chiken briyani cost was 420 + GST. Quality was very normal (for single person) but the biggest part quantity was too low compared to the money your spending. So in my opinion the food is overpriced.

Good place to have food, the staff make us feel comfortable. Food taste is excellent and the waiters suggest tasty dishes. Loved the place and have visited many times.

Normal Udupi type vegetarian bar restaurant, food is ok.decent hotel mostly male crowd.not much to comment as it has opened after the lockdown. I visited this place after about 25 years and have good memories of good food both vegetarian and non-vegetarian with very courteous staff and cooperative kitchen staff complying with your special request.

Foodland is one reputed and quality restaurant in Malad West near Malad railway station. It used to serve non vegetarian but now turned into a pure vegetarian restaurant.

Nice food. And now it is converted to a pure vegetarian restaurant. Varieties of food and snacks available. A very courteous owner and disciplined staff are the extra attractions.

Food quality needs to be improved it is basically having a diet food rather than having a food which i used to have ten years back. Need to improve the quality. Not worth the money paid.

Lost Glory, Visited place after 5 years and can tell the overall experience was disappointing. Price wise restaurant has gone up rightly however the food quality and taste has hit the floor. I couldn’t feel the fragrance, taste and quality. I hope Experience gets better for others and same Taste is restorted soon.

Expected to much as the review were very good this restaurant located behind bus stop don't have proper parking and don't allow them to park as they will park your car near bus stop and cop will fine you for 1.no parking 2.parking near bus stop 3.parking near signal.and if you ask the owner what is this he will just pull his hand up. The food was 4/5 the price is also little high according to place.

Had a worst experience with this restaurant. Hotel name should be fool-land not food-land. The quality of food is really poor and Tasteless compare to price.

First thing I want to clarify that I am not here to create any hate. I just want to aware the other customers and share my experience with them and this is why this platform is and I know how to use the social media. It was my first bad review on Zomato because I genuinely had a bad experience.  

If you are giving us ₹1000 off on our order under Zomato gold offer you are not doing any favours to us. Your restaurant is in association with Zomato for a mutual benefit customer had nothing to do with this. We had paid for our membership. And Zomato provide you a listing and this is how people get to know your restaurant  so don't think like you are doing any favours on us.

Now come to actual issue.

Great that you have CCTV footage.can you check how late we received the order?

it almost take 45 min and for your kind information your food and service is not at all loved by me or my guest as you are saying in reply and not even the ladies who sitting next to our table apparently they also return the food due to the poor quality you can recall it from your so called CCTV footage. Or i think she is also having ego issue.  

Now comes to Roti.

Can you tell me what is the price of simple tandoori roti in your restaurant?

it's ₹60 and we had checked the price before we ordered but here we don't have issue with price.  

Actually At ₹60 in general anyone will expect nice smooth roti but what we get? Hard roti like a papad. We thaught it might because it's simple roti so we ordered butter roti next time because butter Roti usually softer but the result is still same then we raise this issue and what response we received from your management is "tandoor cook is not available today that's why roti is not up to the mark".  

Ok is that my look out to check whether the tandoor cook is available today or not?  

If you are taking 60- 75 rupees for single roti then we expect the quality and it's your responsibility to provide no matter your cook is available or not you have to adjust this thing not us and if this is the issue why don't you informed us at beginning?

Then they offer chapati we already finished our gravy so we refuse and ordered 'Chicken boneless dum biriyani'

Now here comes 'Chicken boneless dum biriyani' "with bones" wow what a surprise.  

After all this incidents how can you expect from your customers to not put a bad review?

Very good restorent, parking is not available near hotel. My experience in this hotel was Really good. Hospitality is very good and it is near Malad station. The prices are too high.

The worst food that i have had at the costliest price. Very horrible. I visited today with my family. The manchow soup had lots and lots of soy sauce, the starters were very bad, the methi malai matar had all the sugar put in it. I guess they had emptied their sugar stock in it. Yucks. The simple lemon juice was plain water filled from the tap. No taste and not at all cold. The schezwan noodles were stale amd tasted like from a cheap roadside stall. But for all this the prices are very high.i have never had such bad food at any restaurants till now.

Food is delectable. Ambience is also tempting. The only reason I had to reduce 1 star is service is too slow. Nonetheless, dishes are definitely worth trying due to mouthwatering taste.

Located near Malad Station, Foodland is a place serving great food with great deals. The place has a permit room at the ground floor whereas the top floor completely belongs to family section. They serve variety of indian & indo-chinese delicacies & also few of the nibbles to go along with the drinks.
Our visit here was completely based upon their food.
We started off our meal with
CHICKEN HOT & SOUR SOUP- A wholesome flavour packed soup with generous amount of veggies was a soothing start to a meal.
For the appetizers we went for our all time favourite chicken lollipop. Apart from that we ordered South Indian Pickled Pepper Chicken. Pretty much like chicken 65, where boneless chivken bits were tossed in south Indian spices & given a chinese twist.
By the time we were done with the appetizers we were almost full, so decided to jump to the mains where we chose to go for our very own comforting Butter Chicken! Sufficient quantity & a standardized butter chicken taste.
We tried the kulfi Malba for the dessert & honestly weren't that very impressed with it. It was just ice-cream topped with peach puree & a cherry. Everything was top notch apart from the dessert. Coming over to their service. We were assisted pretty well throughout our course. Good comforting food with great quality & quantity & is also pretty much easier on the pockets, that is pretty much what you look for in a decent dining experience & they lived upto that expectation. Keep up the good work!

What an apt name for a food venture @foodlandmalad located very near to #malad #station West side. A great #spacious space they have and have a good atmosphere all around. Lighting out there was bit on a darker side but the ambience was really very good. Their was many god/almighty pics on the walls and were really looking super #blissful. The owner was really courteous and staff was super friendly and approachable. Menu has combination of both vegetarian cusine and non vegetarian cusine. I had
1. Soup
- Manchurian Soup which I always love to have at start of my foodie motorcycle taste was perfect as it had perfect blench of spicy taste
2. Starter
- Crispy Cottage Cheese with Smoked Chillies, which were of straight chilli shaped and had a crunchy taste along with little bit of spicy essence to it
- Paneer Multani Kebab, super soft and really tasty.
3. Main Course
- Veg. Ujala, fantastic sabji served in a unique was of keeping a lighting candle inside a tamato cut in a super fabulous way. Taste too was really amazing and I had it with butter kulcha which enriched the taste totally
4. Desert
- Best part of any dinner, I had Kulfi Malba, great concept of serving desert in a small glass with dry fruits garnished about the kulfi and tasty essence around the whole desert.

Foodland restaurant is one of the go to destination when you crave for tasty north Indian food. It situated on a walking distance from malad station west.

Firstly the outer look of the food joint is amazing with extra glowing effect in the evening it's a one storey place with nice and decent ambience they decorated the wall with real utensils which attracted me alot.

The staff here is of mixed nature polite and annoying

Coming back to what we ordered. Be ready for a delicious narrative dishes

VEG MANCHOW SOUP: the manchow soup was served pipping hot with crispy noodle and soy. It had veggies and was fulfilling

CRISPY COTTAGE CHEESE WITH SMOKED CHILLIES: recommended by in house staff turn outs to be a good appetizer the only thing missing was crispyness of paneer taste was good

MILI JULI TIKKA: mili juli tikka is a must try dish when in foodland. It's a combination of finely chopped veggies mashed potato and centre filled with molten cheese. Totally worth dish

VEG ULAJA: this dish is another bang on it's a awesome gravy very smooth and tasty it had veg kebabs surrounding it and tomato lit flower which surely give justice to the name

PANEER PASANDA: This gravy tasted average containing 4 huge paneer sandwich pieces containing paneer burji inside

KAJU MUTTER MASALA: kaju and mutter combination in buttery gravy turned out to be really good

BREADS: butter naan and veg kulcha both the breads were average nothing extra

VEG FRIED RICE: the rice tasted good again an average dish with chopped veggies

FRESH LIME WATER: After a fulfilling dinner lime water was must and it reached our expectations

KULFI MALBA: kulfi served alongwith milkmade and mango pulp and rose syrup with dryfruits treat

I would like to highlight that Mr. AMIT is friendly and helpful staff but other seems to be very rude and annoying

This is my second visit to this place since I reside near by. Known for its south Indian food along side Anna rasoi.

Both the times I visited this place the quantity did not do justice to the pricing of the dishes. Though the taste of the food was great. The use of zomato gold has made them increase the rates I guess.

Ordered for a chicken manchow soup: Again less quantity but good taste.

Chicken king: A combination of mushroom and chicken gravy had with neer dosa. Neer dosa could have been better.

Note: Their zomato gold does not include seafood and other special dish items so choose wisely.

Great place to visit with family and friends. Ambience is very good. Staff were also helpful. Foodland is 5 minutes walkable from the station.

Chicken Lollipop - This was the best taste in lollipop I have ever tasted, If you are going foodland the I would suggest everyone should try this.

Crispy cottage cheese with smoked chillies - This is veg dish. Crunchy and medium spicey I like the combination of this taste.

Butter Chicken - Good enough quantity wise and presentation wise also good. I noticed they have a unique taste in every dish which makes delicious food.

Chicken Kadai & Naan - This dish were served in small kadaI with chicken pieces and brownish gravy. It was also awesome as well.

Chicken Manchow Soup: The Indo Chinese version is very spicy with strong flavors of ginger-garlic and loaded with fresh veggies and chicken, flavored with soy sauce, vinegar, chili.

Crispy cottage cheese with smoked chilies: This finger food is quick and easy to make. The soft succulent paneer pieces are coated with flour and deep fried to get a crispy outer covering and then seasoned with soya.

Chicken lolipop: Spicy and full of flavor. These chicken lollipops are juicy and filled with different spices that blends together.they Have Twist in Their Recipe.

Murg Makhani: Murgh Makhani is not the same thing as the Chicken Tikka Masala, ; both the recipes look similar and uses marinated grilled chicken in the sauce, but the base is Different!

kulfi malba: deserts we had kulfi malba and it was amazing and full of layers.it was Amazing!

The taste of food is absolutely great. I'll admit that it's more on the pricier side now but the ambiences is very very cool. The service is impeccable and food, water and salted nuts top-up is prompt and quick. Loved the time spent here. Good place for family and medium groups. The location is very near to Malad station.

This place has been around for a really long time and I'm very happy that it has stuck around for so many years since it has a lot of great food to offer. The ambiance of the place is really good and they have a separate family and bar section, with good background music.
The service is good and the staff is really polite. The only issue is that you may get some traffic going here since it's near the subway. But the traffic is worth it cause of the amazing food they have to offer. The food just blew my mind, also the quantity of their dishes is huge. These are the things that I tried:

-Chicken Manchow Soup: I started my meal with this perfectly made soup. It had diced pieces of chicken and a reduction of vegetables. It tasted really well with fried noodles. It's one of my favourite soups.

-Chicken Paprika Kebab: It was a very unique kebab that I ever tasted. It was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The chicken was really soft and juicy. It was the perfect appetizer.

-Chicken Lolipop: The lollipop was really big and had a crispy exterior and a soft and juicy interior. It was the best lollipop I had in a really long time. You should definitely try this out if you are a chicken lover.

-Chicken Baldi: This is a medium spicy chicken in orangish red gravy which is served in a cute tiny balti. The chicken gravy had a lot of flavour and I couldn't stop eating it.

-Paneer Pasanda: This dish had stuffed paneer which was then deep fried and served along with a orangish brown gravy. The preparation of it was really innovative and unique and it tasted absolutely delicious. It's an amazing option to eat if you're vegetarian or even a non-vegetarian.

-Fresh Lime Soda: Its a refreshing lemon based drink which is served in a tall glass and a lime vedge. It was really refreshing to have after my huge meal. It helped settle the food down since I like drinking soda based drinks after a big meal.

-Kulfi Malba: I had this at the end of my meal. It was the most interesting dessert I've seen in a long time. It had vanilla ice cream, kulfi, mango syrup and it was topped with crushed nuts. It was absolutely tasty and you should definitely try this out.

I had an amazing experience here and I would love to go to this place again.

I went at day time.so less crowd and good service. Great quality food. Bit expensive but zomato gold did the trick.also you have to be lucky get parking near hotel

We were in malad near Natraj market and after over shopping we became extremely exhausted and hungry too. We decided to have our lunch here in Foodland.

The restaurant serves proper lunch in veg and non veg. This place is little bit dark but you will surely enjoy the food here. The staff were very helpful and the service was also pretty good.

1) Started with the beverage- Fresh Line Water, a strong nimbu pani (kind of). It was fizzy and sweet, a perfect thirst quencher.

2) Veg Manchurian
Soft veg Manchurian balls tossed in a Chinese concoction. They had a good texture and spice, but also had a bit different ghee sort of taste, tbh which I didn't like but my friend enjoyed it.

3) Crispy Cottage Cheese
So this was the first time that I had a paneer starter where the paneer was actually crispy. Very thin paneer pieces were made crispy and tossed/cooked in a Delicious masala. The paneer was actually crispy and tasted good.

4) Veg Kadai
One of the gravies that we ordered was this and it was the star of the day for us. A perfect balance of spices and a delicious slightly spicy taste made it just perfect to have with butter naan. Loved it.

5) Paneer Pasanda
Contrary to the previous gravy this one was a bit sweet but had a really good taste. It was sort of creamy with fresh and tender paneer cubes. A good main course to have with naan.

6) Kulfi Malba
This small restaurant sure does have some unique things up it's sleeve. This dessert consisted of mango pulp, cold yet soft to chew malai kulfi pieces and tooti frooti in between, served on top of vanilla ice cream. I loved it, all the content had good quality and taste.

Foodland is located at Malad (west) it was a clam and cool place to hangout and the staff was friendly and this is a family restaurant.

Foodland is an old and hygienic family resto‍‍‍. Bring an very close to malad station it is very much convinent to travel. It has a classic ambiance. But the wall with the vessels decor gives it an attractive look.
It is complete package for all the generation. Around 25 to 50 people can sit easily. Trust me if you believe in quality and taste do visit this place. I tried paneer makhani which was best dish I ever tried. Paneer lovers must visit this place. The food here hygienic and delicious. It is specialised in veg nd non veg dishes. Staff out there is very polite and helpful in nature. This is highly recommend place from many of the people.

If foodland restaurant is having valet parking service that means you are taking the ownership of the same which means now my car is your responsibility. I had incurred heavy penalty because of your unprofessional attitude. If you cannot take the ownership of your services then it's my humble request do not offer such service.

I have been going to this place since my childhood, and now it's been 30 years that they haven't changed even a bit in their taste. Ambience is as usual very decent and a highly recommended bar and restaurant for family. I still insist to have dinner in this restaurant whenever I am at my maiden's place.

1. Manchow soup was great, but the cheese balls were too dry and raw on inside, and paneer makhani is also great.
2.the manger was busy on phone and even arrangements for a bunch of people is not there
3.so I would recommend it for people limited to 4-5 as seating arrangements are not good

This was one of my favorite restaurant once upon a Time. However, service is now not that great. Food quality is good but seems overpriced. Food quantity has reduced comparatively.

Foodland Restaurant is divided into two sections ground + first floor, centrally air conditioned & both serve the same food.
Place is decently lit up, decor is simple & minimal. Staff is Polite, friendly & attentive. Serve time is good & dish prices are quite reasonable which gives great VFM & makes this place quite popular on weekdays & weekends.
Note: - I recommend Indian & Chinese starters but Indian only in main course.

Best starter for me. We repeated this starter, it was made really well.
2. Indian Pizzette - Sev puri served with modifications in Pizza shape. Some people in our group loved it. It’s different & you can definitely try it once.
3. Peeli Mirch Paneer Tikka - Decent
4. Multani Khumb - Mushroom & stuffed cream cheese was a nice combination & the dish was yum
5. Lucknowi Malai Paneer Sheekh - Average. Ordered this for kids without the harissa sauce. Was ok.

Main course
1. Paneer Makhanwala - For Kids (non spicy veg) - Found it too sweet though.
2. Zucchini Mussallam - I have to say I’m not a zucchini fan but this veg curry for amazing. We guys cleaned the entire dish. The zucchini itself was decent but the gravy was yummy
3. Langar Wali Kaali Daal - Decent

Breads
1. Cheese Garlic Naan - Yummy (the best of the lot)
2. Tandoori Roti with Butter - Butter does make it better I feel, otherwise I find it crispy but dry

Tasty food nice quantity a bit costly. If only they had washed the fish nicely till it stops smelling when cooked and served would have given five stars.

This is 30 year old restaurant.it is a family restaurant which serves veg nonveg and alcohol.the ambience is good.u can go here for fine dine with your family.they hav daily one special sheera made out of fresh fruit Available.yesterday I had papaya sheera so that was nice. I would highly recommend the tomato soup Because this was the best tomato soup I ever had.the quality of food is good. I ordered veg baldi.it's flavor we're amazing. I really liked it. I ordered. Butter naan and kulcha but don't order masala kulcha. I would recommend starter paneer angari kebab.they were also pretty good.dal khichdi is also very good. I never tasted dal khichdi in restaurant but ya dal khichdi is also very tasty. Pink panther and green collar we're the best mocktail I would suggest here. Pink panther is made of cranberry whereas green collar is made of khus and has amazing flavor. U can also try veg mili juli Tikka.it is very crispy
