It's an excellent place to have Maharashtrian food. My relatives had come from kutch, this is the only place which came to my mind while thinking about authentic maharashtrian food. They all loved it.

No good service all are very slow got the bill of 184 just paid 200 and waiting for change but waiter didn't came as he took the rest with tip. You have to ask for water no one will come.

Places is known for Maharashtrian breakfast, food and other traditional festival food and sweets items.tried breakfast several times.food test is very good and feels like home made food.good staff.place in on main road so very limited parking available.good to visit with friends and family

Taste is authentic and you can feel the real Batata Wada. Must try place for any foody. Staff is very polite and helpful if you are not aware what to try, feel free to ask them.

Food is good. Misal pav and kothimbir vadi are recommended. Service staff are slow and may be sleepy. May it's too early for them to start

Nice place for pohe. Especially loved it that they garnish pohe with grated coconut. Such a nice touch.

If you are vegetarian and love Maharastrian food.then this is the place.
Makkhan along with Thalipeeth is my favourite.
People who have not tasted before can also try PIYUSH. (Drink)

My Favourite Restaurant with cool and clam environment, easy to find and reached, if you like usual, misal, Battawada, fast item and other Maharashtra famous vegetarian item you should visit this Restaurant you get our favourite Mumbai testy food. Good Marathi restaurant standing amongst majority Typical south indian and north indian restaurants. Homely food! Reasonable charges. Good service!

It is nearby to national park.
After cycling at national park we had garma garm chai here, vada paav, kanda bhaji, kothambir wadi and thalipeeth. It was lip smackinng.

Although the taste of food is excellent people working there are rude and unprofessional. They give priority to zomato and swiggy. Never take parcel from here. Working people need some traiNong for soft skills. They are RUDE. I don't recommend this place at all.

The food was nice. Maybe due to recent open up after the lockdown, many things weren't available from the menu.

This used to be one of my favorite food joint for morning snacks where we used to cherish typical maharashtrian snacks. NOT ANY MORE.
The quality and taste have gone from bad to worse over a period of last 6-8 months now and even the crowds which we used to witness earlier have gone down drastically.

It's one of the authentic Marathi food joint in Borivali. They have about 3-4 car parking (not official) but you will get to park nearby. As I have eaten in Marathi joint in South Mumbai, I may not like it. Still worth a try for people would like to try Marathi food.

The worst customer service I have got so far. Restaurant staff have no sense to talk.they don’t process your order in manner. Very poor gesture. Yesterday we order food along with Piyush.after waiting for 1hr we finally got food & asked him abt all the items.after reaching home the Piyush was missing.we call the restaurant n told the same concern to them… their replies were horrible but still we agreed to pickup our order again … after reaching that hotel we got 2 Piyush instead of 5…. N staff wasn’t even bothered to check that … like seriously u really don’t care for your customers? What kinda service is this. 2 blunders in 1hour… pls take this seriously n focus on your customer

Taste is best in Jain as well as in normal. High price but good taste but takes lot of time for preparation

Love the puri bhaji and Kothambir wadi.
Easily accessible as it's on the main road and near to Borivali station. They have an Air Conditioned section as well. Good food for the best price.

Had sabudana khichadi and sabudana wada today which was yummy and tasty.
It's high time the local people patronize such outlets.so that our traditional marathi food items are given due place

Awesome traditional marathi food. Zunka bhakri, pithla bhakri, kanda bhaji, misal pav, fasting items, piyush etc. Highly recommended for marathi food.

We found a dead mosquito inside Missal & when we complain they apologise for this but they don’t have any answer on cleanliness.manager wave off missal charges that's what they help & react. Hope they take the necessary action on cleanliness & kitchen staff.

Perfectly serves Amazing Mumbaikar style Breakfast and Lunch¡ Specifying on breakfast and lunch because haven’t tried Dinner yet¡ Though I am highly impressed with this place for serving amazing Mumbaikar style food by that i mean Maharastrian Style snacks and food. If you are a Mumbaikar by heart this place is going to amaze you. The prices are amazingly pocket friendly. As mentioned in my bio I am here to make your penny worth a while. Thumbs up to this. Talking about ambience the lower section is average but Ac section is too old school and by that i mean very pleasant with a rose on the table and with comfy nostalgic vibe. Do try this place. Worst food and rude staff, way to expensive and poor quality of food. Uncleaned tables and washroom.

I had misal pav. It was little sweet in taste. Didn't like taste at all. Even I had Kothambir vadi. Taste was not that good.
I would not prefer to visit this place again. Not happy vid taste of the food

I like the vibe of this all restaurant. Food is fantastic and important thing is it's so convenient. The price of food is midrate.
And if ur pay will not waste it will be worth eating there. So many people go there for food. You can go anytime or there you will get best quality food. They serve on table. Place are clean and good. Whole resturant vibe is so good. But hey provide only veg food. If your non vegetarian so don't waste ur time to go there.

If you are a fan of Marathi food.this the Best place in Borivali to eat typical and authentic Marathi food. I recommend trying out their Zunka Bhakar, Kothimbir wadi etc.
Also enjoy Piyush (a sweet drink), kokam sarbat, solkadhi etc.

Girgaon katta is one of the best place to enjoy authentic maharashtrian food. I have visited twice once for the breakfast and once for lunch and i found the best of service both the time. We ordered misal pav, kotambir vadi, thalipett, piyush (lassi) and kokam sharbat and this dishes were just amazing.you get an basic ambience including the A/C and Non A/C section.

Amazing simple food. Retained the essence of Maharashtrian food.amongst crazy Italians, Punjabis and other eating options. It offers very good options for simple yet sumptuous meal.
Bhakri and bharit or bhakri and jhunka are all time favourite.

Loved your food, really good and I did not face any tummy issues. But one of your waiter was unnecessarily very rude to us. You should talk to him.:)

This place is absolutely a beast when it comes to Maharashtrian dishes. Every dish here are fresh and delicious

1) Kothimbir Vadi: -
Popular maharastrian snack which consists of coriander leaves, gram flour and spices
You will love the way it tastes
The green chutney along with it makes it 100× better
2) Jhunka Bhakri: -
It is a delicious dish consisting of chickpea flour porridge
You will definitely love this dish as it's taste is unique and amazing along with the bhakri
3) Pavbhaji: -
Pavbhaji here is the best avaliable in mumbai.
The bhaji taste is something you need to try out yourself

It's an amazing and cheap place to get yourself of a heavy breakfast or brunch!
It has one of the best misal pavs in Borivali!
Also we had thalipeeth which was sevred with fresh butter and tasty green chutney!
Also we tried out JAIN misal over here and it turned out to be one of the best of i have known!

Misaal pav is a must have item here and highly recommend

I went there many times. It is really a good for quick note, especially for maharashtrian good like Thalipith, Misal. Very clean place. Staff is very good, smiling. Food is teasty. 5 minutes walking from borivali west station. Card payments accepted. Will visit again for sure.

All items are too good.my personal favorite Batata vada, Bhakari roll, & Bharit Bhakari. One must try these items.they are too good.
