The staff at the Little Hotel were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. They were always eager to assist with any inquiries, provide local recommendations, and ensure that I had a pleasant visit. Their warm demeanor contributed significantly to the positive experience.
A delight if you appreciate vegetarian food. Good ambience woth hygeine and well behaved staff. Good place to have meal with family and friends at economical rates. Value for money is guaranteed. Your meal is blessed by shri Krishna
This is a restaurant of different level, I feel like I am have a posh lunch with Shree Krshna. I love the selection of items served and every mosel is filled with love, drank to my heart's content. So pleased, thank you so much
It was a pleasure to enjoy really good food in such a pleasant environment where the staff were there to make the customer experience a most memorable event
The food was tasty. Only vegetarian food is available. We had buffet which is highly reasonable and non-spicy food. The desert choices had a lot variety and too were delectable.
Hare Krishna! Been to this restaurant with my family for dinner buffet which costs Rs. 500 per plate. Taste and service was to everyone's delight! Lots of dishes and probably best in Mumbai. Surely a bliss for vegetarian lovers!?
Thus restaurant is located in the Iskcon temple complex, ample parking and great location.
Coming to food experience, you pre-pay for the buffet meal and enter the restaurant your greeted with a variety of welcome drinks and soup served to you right at the table.
Then you proceed to the main course and the spread is massive. All the good is satvik - doesn't have garlic ginger etc. Really great quality food and great taste always. There's a variety of desserts and chaas to finish your meal ️ Enjoy.
Ambience is amazing, feels like we are enjoying traditional look and everything but the food was not upto that mark everything was having something less in it.
Perfect buffet filled with delicious food.this restaurant has hold onto it's satvik aahar concept very perfect (which was expected by all of us since it's run by iskon) Since I went on the occasion of bhaidooj it was rushy in the buffet but there was continuous refilling of all the dishes as soon as it's empty. I felt like the vessels here are real life akshaypatra.love all the starters. (I think the menu is different daily.since I went during Diwali they had a special menu). None of the food consist of Onion or garlic. The food is all worth to every single penny I've spent here.
Good place for Jains and devotees to eat. It has no onion no garlic and all eatables are offered to Lord Krishna. This is the perfection of human life. All Blessings. Hare Krishna
Squeaking-clean breakfast place, average food (no onion, garlic etc.). Very limited menu. Would have given them another star if they had filter coffee on the menu.
Pros: - ample parking (pay & park) - clean - reasonably priced (expect to spend INR 200-300 per head for bfst) -timings: open 7.30 a.m. Onwards.
Cons: - very limited menu - taste of food is average - no filter coffee
Too crowded on rakshabandhan. Mismanaged and lot of resturant guests just barged in without having appointment. Management should start token system on these types of dates or Holiday and send sms to the guest when there table is ready.
Food on this day was getting over very fast and refill was taking double very long time.
Infact avoid this place on Holiday or sunday.
Also social distancing was no where to be seen.
Overall not worth the time, money and definitely scary situation during covid times
Covid safety protocols are being followed and is open for dine-in. Buffet food had 3 desserts and 3 drinks (buttermilk, thandai and jal jeera). Only these were the highlights. The rest of the food was just okay in taste. Right now charges are Rs. 550/- + taxes per person.
Loved it. Menu is always A+ The food quality is also amazing. The ambience the not as good as it was before lockdown, but still worth every penny. Only caveat being it is 100% veg. It is Rs. 550 per person, with an unlimited buffet. The buffet has 3 starters, 3 bhajis, puri, chapati, papad, biryani and curry rice. They also have amazing desserts including Golab Jam (my personal favourite), Rasgulla, Jalebi and ice cream! I think this hotel is a must try!
Very good Prasadam, very holy place, sight of Prabhuji very calming, clean, service good, only if staff would smile a bit, maybe they have seen some bad customers in past. Best is the background chant
Govinda restaurant is inside the vicinity of iskon temple, juhu Andheri West. It serves buffet with 2 to 3 starters, 2 to 3 subzis, dal, rice or palav, 2 to 3 types of rotis, chaas, 2 to 3 desserts etc.everything is without onion and garlic, very simple less oil food, yet delicious.the price for the buffet is Rs 550 per head. The takeaway thalis are priced differently starting from Rs 120.
Just remember it’s in premises of Iskon temple so no Onion garlic. Food is saatvik. Jain ppl shld surely visit. They hve Buffet system with nutritional menu’s. If u r 3-4 ppl Try their Rajbog. They hve their takeaway lunch box at reasonable prices.
Went for lunch buffet today. It was purely veg and no onion and garlic in any of the dishes. Food was very good. Worth the price. Very good dishes. Their breads were soooo good. Chapatis, stuffed kulchas, puris and parathas. Gave 4 star coz the gulab jamun was tooooo sweet. But rest all ok.
The total buffet price is 550. They have quite varieties of main course. Starting with the appetizers they have rice balls, salad.with 3 types of curd
Coming to the maincourse. It had gobi curry, baked spinach paneer, mixed vegetables, chilly babycorn, veg noodles. Coming the bread basket it had corn cheese paratha, gobi aloo paratha, normal roti and 3 types of papad. It had a new variety of rice called jackfruit biryani, plain rice, schezwan rice, daal, tamota kadi. There was 3 types of drinks -jaljeera, butter milk and ginger amla. Coming to the last the section of dessert that goes straight to your? Heart - rajbhog icecream, ladoo, gulab jamun, cham cham
Govindas is a chain of Satvik Restaurants run In the premises of ISKCON temples. They serve pure vegetarian no onion no garlic food. We visited their Juhu Vileparle ISKCON branch. They serve varieties of cakes, pastries, rolls, puffs, cookies, desserts n Chinese n Italian combos. A chat corner is also available but it is too crowded. We tried their Paneer Puff - it was crunchy with good amount of delicious paneer stuffing. Their Chinese Manchurian balls and rice or noodle combos also tastes very good. You can eat standing or can take away pack too. They display art of no onion no garlic vegetarian food with so many varieties possible is something that was enlightening for us. Taste - 5/5 Ambience - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Quality - 5/5 Value for money - 5/5 Parking Space - Not Available Free WiFi - Not Available Visit Again - Yes
Variety of food, and you can eat to your fill. But quality (in terms of flavour and taste) very average. They should keep less varieties and focus on quality.
Probably the best restaurant for veg food.they have the most lavish vegetarian spread replete with the choicest desserts and ice creams. The staff is the most friendly and the entire place has a very holy hare Krishna vibe. I go there atleast once in 2 months and the buffet there has never ever disappointed me. Hare Krishna!
Food prepared with such devotion, served with love, we were full of satisfaction, to the core of our atma. Full range of chhappan bhog and more.
Aai (my mother) smiled ear to ear, looking at the wide range of pure veg delights without garlic, onions etc. You won't even miss these spices, or realize, if I didn't tell you. She went around telling everybody about this place.
Excellent vegetarian restaurant at ISKCON Juhu temple. I got the good fortune to dine there couple of times. It costs rs. 550/head for a multi-cuisine unlimited vegetarian prasadam thali with salads, juices, starters, pickles, fries, rotis, sabjis, rice items, desserts and ice-cream, totalling more than 30-35 preparations to choose from. Timings are 11am-3pm and evenings 6-9pm. A definite place to dine near Juhu!
Making money by using God's name. If they really are that Sattvic, they should provide visibility to their kitchen. Surely, they won't as it would expose the hygiene standards typical of all restaurants.
Amazing food and pure hygiene. Best for Jain families as Onion and Garlic are not used in any sabzi or food items. Visited 4 times and had wonderful experience all time.
Govinda's restaurant is located at ground floor in Iskcon juhu. I had a buffet here which has many delicious food recipes. Per person cost on Sunday was around 650/- person including taxes. And a glimpse of beautiful temple and the deties. Govinda's restaurant has many other dining options for many other delicious recipes. Recommend to all visiting mumbai to visit Iskcon juhu once to experience the bliss.
Sorry to say! But the quality of the food has gone down tremendously.service wise is still good.with the amount they charge it can be much better.definitely not recommend.few years ago it was our family s favorite place.but in the last few months. I have visited twice and at both times the quality of the food and the menu selection has not been good at all. I can only request the management to look into it
This is the Best restaurant. First of all the ambiance gives u an unique feeling. Also on the top of it the tasty veg food which is not only delicious but also served in the most hygienic way. I got a chance to taste an unique recipe called Jackfruit Biryani. That was prepared very nicely. The desserts are also nice. One buffet lunch costs around 650 but it's worth for the big time foodies. Overall an wonderful experience.
Nice and clean place. We went there recently twice for breakfast and both the time enjoyed the good food. It's a more of a restaurant for the hotel so is relatively less crowded for breakfast.
This place is very clean and tidy with good atmosphere. They have veg. Buffet system with lots of verities incl.desert. Rate Mon.to Sat. Rs. 550 and Sun. & Bank holiday. Rs. 650.
Good tasty and hygiene food products. Neat an clean place. Staff are professional and friendly. So many variety of food dishes available. Small parking space available. They don't serve regular tea, but they serve herbal tea. Cost is bit on high side. But its justified by it's service. All good are served with Jain style.
Best Place for Vegetarians. Every food item has unique distinctive taste. Taste of food shows clear sign of quality ingredients being used. Ambience is an added advantage. Most important, surrounded by a religious atmosphere.
OMG! So many options in each course of meal. Neat and clean place. Everything is mouth watering. Best quality food. Most important you don't feel blotted after having so many items. Best welcome drinks Best starters Best main course Best desserts Best food. Best experience.
While the price may be a bit steep, all the food is Jain and tastes excellent. The variety is so expansive you could eat here for a week straight and not get overlapping items. Highly recommended.
Good food.everything is without onions and garlic, so definitely not for every kind of person. Also, mostly it depends on your taste.
When I visited first time with my friends, I found everything tasty and spicy enough. But when I visited 2nd time with my family, nothing seemed edible out of the huge menu. Left completely unsatisfied. So, mostly it depends on your luck, taste and their menu, i guess.
The people are great, they serve you welcome drinks, ice cream etc. Very hospitable. Nevertheless a must visit place. Don't get disheartened if u don't find it upto the mark first time. You can definitely give it a second chance. But mostly it depends on the menu.
Hello friends I have been visited govinda restro Jst to try new place govinda restro is inside ISKON temple, good place and good ambience. Taste of food is best, sprumtious
It's a buffet system for 600 per person. The food has no onion garlic. When we enter the restaurant they offer us welcome drink jaljeera, rose sherbet, etc. They have variety of sabzi, rotis and starters but have half of the stomach empty for desserts as the desserts are must have.they are made in pure ghee and mawa If near juhu must visit place
Good serene ambience, delicious food platter, good service too. Of course, added advantage of mandir darshan. All in all very good place to celebrate any occasion with family and friends or just dine in pure vegetarian.
It's just a fabulous place. Soo clean, good atmosphere, good lighting and everything that a good restaurant must have in it. I had a buffe which was Rs. 500 per person and that was too good. Loved this place
