Nice experience. Quality of the Food is excellent. Room service was very good. The staffs was very cooperative and helpful.

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, the rooms were luxurious, and the dining options surpassed expectations. The central location made exploring the city effortless. A top-notch experience, deserving of a 5-star rating.

Size of the deluxe room was good, however the overall ambience was average. Cupboard had a strong stinking smell. Could see a cobweb near the door. The breakfast buffet spread was limited as compared to other 3 star hotels. Only egg was available in live counter. I didn't find worth the price (Rs 700).

Very bad experience, staff on duty in the morning at the reception is very rude and thinks they do us a favour by giving us rooms that we pay for, an request for early check inn was made at the time of booking which is like about 3 and half hrs before arriving at the hotel, and the guy on duty was waiting to inform me that it’s not possible only once I reach the hotel, where in they had received the payment and booking got confirmed 3and half hour before, I have been a regular at this hotel over the years, this is my 5th stay with them but was very unpleasant, finally to get a early booking I had to pay another 5,000 more, very wrong on behalf of the hotel.

The price and poor quality service don't match.

The hotel is in a historic building, but the rooms are comfortable.
There are many restaurants, street food, delicious chai, etc.in the surrounding area, and you can also shop.
The staff were also very friendly and wonderful.
But air conditioner of my room was old and was worried about loudness of operation sound.
There is a liquor store nearby, so it is easy to procure beer etc.

The most adorable is the architecture of the hotel in the first site along with great food and cooperation of the staff

A really good hotel to stay in. Huge rooms, clean bed and interiors and really good service. The hotel gives the feel of staying in a palace, as its made out of stone. Totally worth the price.must to visit there.

Great hotel with a legacy of many many years.rooms are quite specious and it is just 10 minutes aways from CST railway station. Hotel staff is very nice however I feel the price for delux room is little High compare to the value for money.

Excellent location! Walking distance from Colaba, Marine Drive, Churgate, CST. Located in a very quiet and secured part of Mumbai. Reason I gave 4 stars because the room wasn’t cleaned properly and and the air conditioner takes ages to cool temperature down. Breakfast is average. Staff are very friendly and helpful and polite

Grand Hotel is Located at Ballard Estate Mumbai. It is at a walking Distance from CST. This Hotel provides you with rooms to stay, restaurant and Bar. The location is peaceful and also with greenery nearby. This is my first Visit and I find it good though the Restaurant seems to be a bit expensive.

Exterior Looks of the hotel n location is awesome.but rooms can have modern look.even the furniture in the rooms is quite old.itz not vintage. Ventilation in the rooms is not enough.shud ask for rooms with balcony before booking.also breakfast menu n quality can be improved.

Great Location in Ballard Estate for a peaceful stay. Food is decent. Helpful staff. Overall a good place for staying in South Bombay.

Had a very good experience in Grand Hotel Mumbai and the hotel is very nice, neat and clean. Hotel staffs are well behaved and room service is also very good. AC gym facility with well equipped and maintained.

Very nice location, u will feel like in Europe here, pure British architecture, BSE, navy office, Cstm, Asiatic library nearby.

Excellent place to stay in South Mumbai. Even though it does not have its own parking space, however enough parking available in the hotel's vicinity on paid basis

This has got to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, definitely didn't feel like a 4 star hotel. Rude staff picking up phone calls while you're talking, ANIMAL PROBLEMS, air con which is so loud there's no point using it, hot water only at certain times. Do not recommend this to anyone

Average hotel with limited facilities. It is a old hotel and is so called heritage hotel. Menu is limited and is as per cost the quality is very less.

As the name says, this hotel is grand.
Food is good.
Rooms are big and spacious.
Staff is nice and friendly.
Location is very peaceful and prime.

Very disappointing experience. Room have window AC that is very noisy. Dilapidated condition. Flush need to be done 3-4 times. No toiletries in washroom. You will have better experience in a 1000 rs OYO than this hotel.

The heritage components are fantastic, it is the modern tech that can be a bit "iffy". But a great place to be if you are on business in South Mumbai. The place seriously reminds one of the ambience in some of the old European hotels. Also, they should consider starting breakfast a bit earlier, say, 7: 30 instead of 8: 00 AM.

Place is NOT for weekenders because it's in an isolated dreary corner which doesn't seem safe to walk at night. There's an overpriced cafe next door which is all you'll have for morning coffee around this location.

The staff esp, front desk, are rough at the edges and don't wear a warm smile we are accustomed to in a hospitality staff at other hotels. We had brought digital copies of our IDs and came in after along day and were visibly tired but the staff at the front desk took a full 35mins to check us in! They'd insist on me sending them emails for the ID as attachments instead of verifying the digital copies and expediting the check-in and then following up with printing physical copies for their record. They could have even offered us a seat at the lounge and some water while they dealt with their IT issues of being unable to open an email attachment!

Ditto for room service, housekeeping service-they'd forget to replenish the tea bags or toilet paper but then hard to be reached coz they never picked up the phone. Had to go through the front desk who were hardly ever apologetic for that inconvenience of having to call each time for that basic necessities.

I guess for the price, it's an OK place coz the rooms are big and because it's so secluded, they are quiet. But if they could train their staff to be a bit more courteous and less brusque, this could be a good place for a repeat stay.

Rooms have some issues which needs to be rectified.like noisy fan, overflowing tank etc.although renovation is going on, but these things need to be sorted.

Greetings as such. Even the bell boy didn’t wish us. Ordered food in room service which was tasteless and very expensive. Best to walk down the road to have a quick snack at coffee house of Britannia and co.

Beautiful property in Ballard estate that takes you back to imperial times. Clean rooms with wifi, tv and a balcony! Fairly large for Mumbai standards. Lovely place to stay.

Horrible stay I was locked in the washroom for 45 min. I asked for king size bed room they gave me twin bed room moreover the staff was not that helpful plzz don't visit you can find better in this prize

The Room was huge, bathroom comparatively was a bit small.
The only thing that was In the negative point was the Hotel's food.

They tag it as Heritage but it's not maintained. It gives a feeling of stepping into 70's which was not clean. It's more about ticking all the boxes to charge that rental.

So, frankly it's a good property but it needs to be upgraded big time and maintained accordingly.

Rooms are good, nice ambiance, staff is good. Only thing is food is too costly and no bar service available.

We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days.it's a very old hotel situated in a very calm and peaceful location away fr city's hustle and bustle. Courteous staffs and very prompt room service they have. Rooms are big and very spacious. Breakfast is what that needs serious improvement. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others who want to have a peaceful stay in this city of noises and rush.

Very old and traditional hotel in South Mumbai. Bedroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good except for the coffee. Service at front desk very helpful and kind. They do not change foreign money like in some hotels.

Building well maintained. Able to see lot of tourists from other countries. Largely continental food being served.

I have never been treated or spoken to so rudley in my entire life by the manager of the hotel. A colougue of mine had the same experience a few minutes prior to me arriving. Absolutely horrific. It's left a bad taste in my mouth. The manager is certainly not a people's person nor is he in the correct industry. I do hope that this establishment takes this review seriously as I am sure it is not the first time is happened.

Vintage Mumbai, Ballard Estate is and there stands this antique hotel. Loved the architecture and the spacious rooms. Breakfast spread should improve.

My room got locked suddenly, I struglled in the midnight for an hr. Hotel people were not aware about how to open the door with master login. And the horror was the master key was with manger, who locked his cabin and went home, and was not picking the call. Tried calling him many times, but no response. I believe this is a business hotel. We went for official purpose and when the guys from our office visited us they were treating us like they gave the room for free. We paid almost 30k with breakfast and the service was worth 3k. Im giving 2 star just because of the location which was close to official purpose. Later somebody came and broken the windows and then they went inside the room and opened the door. We expect some sort of responsible behavior and service when we are paying so much.

The is a heritage look building at Ballard pier. Good to stay but not comparable to any hotel chain

I visited my friend who was staying in hotel. The lobby is good and maintained. We sat in the hotel restaurant. Food was average. However service was very late. It took them almost 45 mins to serve a normal white sauce pasta

A hotel with big name, past it's prime. Facilities, food quality, etc.are of standard befitting any running hotel near rly station/ bus stand. A room with tariff of Rs5800 under MAP does not have even complimentary toiletories or sleepers to go to toilet even.

Spacious and clean room. It's like heritage hotel. But they should change the lift as they are using outdated lift and if someone don't close the lift door then it will not work. Apart from lift everything was good.
