Grandmama's Cafe, Dadar East

Loved my cappuccino but the place was too cramped for my taste even at 3: 30pm and very noisy because of all the traffic right outside.

I would avoid it

Worst service ever seen. Don't go if you have later plans because they gonna waste your time. I will never go there again.

Food was too expensive. For the rates they are charging it was just an average taste. We ordered pizza and hot chocolate. I can get a far better pizza at Pizza Hut at a much cheaper cost.
And the hot chocolate was absolutely rubbish. It was like they just melted the chocolate and added the whole jar of sugar in it. Even though we specified hot chocolate with milk, there was no milk in it.
It was a really bad experience. I would not recommend it to anyone.

I was there at 10.30pm. It is all day cafe. They have scan and order system. I ordered barbeque chicken. Though it took some time taste was good. Water was not served so I asked and then they served. I tried their online system to pay bill but it was accepting cash only. I ordered a bill but amount was wrong. Overall mix feeling.

Air was an ok experience for us! However maybe because of what we had ordered. But definitely kids and younger kids would definitely enjoy this place as some of the items are “Instagram worthy”

So this was my frst visit to grandmamas cafe.the menu here is different, they have hummus, pita bread, falafel etc.

Had a great time here.the staff was so helpful.

Preety good food, pleasant ambiance. Lacks a wash room or even a hand wash area for which you need to visit the restaurant next door. Otherwise, nice little restaurant.

Grandmama's cafe, the food is to die for! You order any damn thing it's so very scrumptious.truly delectable experience!

This cafe is best for spending time with your friends and family. Lovely ambiance and supportive staff.

With a chic ambience and thoughtfully curated menu they make it look really GRAND my MAMA.

Their GRAND ambience is elegant and stylishly fashionable, which is what most of the millennials look for while entering this restaurant.

However, for me who belongs to 90s, I still visit restaurants for the quality and taste of food they have to offer. Ambience actually takes a backseat and instagramable interiors are good but not a priority.

What we had:

1. Grilled Paneer - 4 stars
2. Cheese nachos - 3 stars
3. Hummus - 4 stars

The food looks great!
Portions are extra mini (when compared to price)
Food tastes fine. (not a FOMO)
Staff is friendly and hardworking.

Ambience and location is the best! Right outside Dadar East along station road. Food was good as always. Grandmamas special Pizza was too good and the chicken popcorn sider.
The dessert was a major disappointment! I was surprised. Otherwise grandmamas serves the best desserts too.

Totally unhappy with the seatings. The couches are so dirty and stained. Doubt if there are bedbugs on these! High time you renovate your furniture

This place has a some different vibe, a proper tables for couples, frnds, families the taste of the pizzas, shakes, and the french fries was an amazing oneee! The staff were so polite and humble and the gesture was really very good.

There is indoor and outdoor sitting and both are equally comfortable.

Above average food - good ambience. Nothing out of the ordinary. It's the standard Bombay cafe experience with nothing that stands out in the menu.

If you love your comfort food which has a balance of flavors n salt, this is not the place.

I ordered garlic bread/ cheese poppers, I cannot believe the amount of salt that has been put in it.
1st bite of the cheese poppers made me want to throw up!
The garlic bread which should be the easiest to make is messed up with excess salt too!

Elder folks with blood pressure issues BEWARE!

Place is goot but menu and items are not good.
Better to eat street foods near that.

This cafe has a pretty ambience and surprisingly filling food. However, despite this, I cannot wrap my head around the extremely high pricing. We spent a clean thousand rupees on just two food items! (lasagna and pizza) the food tasted pretty great, and it was satisfying, and yet it didn't have anything that made at stand out from any other cafe we mightve chosen instead. However, this place has a pretty wide array of options, so if you don't mind spending some extra cash, do explore its menu thoroughly.

The restaurant looks quite good but the food there is very disappointing. I had salted caramel shake, last time I had watermelon basil n it was also a disappointment N sorry to say it was soooo lame. I highly recommend grand mama to go through their menu and increase the flavour in their food. 3 stars for its ambiance

Ambience is good for brunch or to catch up with friends. Location wise also quite convenient whether you travel by train or bus. Food is good hygiene which is need of the hour is maintained. Staff is quick and service is also up to the mark. Plus budget friendly

New place but quality foods available here we visited 19 Aug night, loaded nachos, yummy cheese garlic bread, nice variety of thin crust pizza, mocktail & many more.

Multiple outlets all across the city and they all have the same interiors and vibe to it. It's one of the reasons this brand is so well accepted by majority of the Bombay audience. I got to try their coffee and a few quick bites. Good on portion size, presentation and taste.

Good coffee for coffee lovers. (Order any and you won't be disappointed) good service and friendly staff.

The place does remind us of our Grandma's place. Right from the cosyness of the ambient to the warm seating arrangements to the interiors. The dishes were good as well. Awesome place to vist.

The menu has changed but the taste is still the same. My fav is Nutella hot chocolate with marshmallows and Quatro formagii pizza and in cakes mud cake is heavenly <3

An amazing cafe restaurant. Wonderful ambience. Food is yummy. Had an amazing experience being in this cafe situated near dadar Station.

The food quality has drastically degraded.they have completely changed taste of their signature dishes which was a huge disappointment.burgers are no more served with French fries instead they hand us some local chips to go with them.moreover we tried 2 different burgers but they were not at all good.

One of my favourite place. The ambience is so soothing. Present on the way to platform no 6 dadar railway station. I visit everytime I need to board any train from Dadar.

Best place to have good time with your family, friends and colleagues. Perfect place to chillout and gossip. Speciality Italian menu and good varieties of coffee's and coolers.

One of my favourite places to grab a quick bite. Both dadar and Juhu. Just that the bathroom and the washbasin is at an inconvenient location in Dadar. Wish it would be closer by. Try the funghi mushroom pizza.

Nice ambience.especially on when it's not rush hour at dadar.and the food though pricey always satisfies your taste buds

The chicken burgers are worth the try. Pretty cool and vintage ambience. Ordering system is quite fancy. But the food prices are a little on the higher side.

The best chicken shawarma on this planet!
Perfect blend of chicken and chips, with pickled beets and a soft pita. (The most spectacular garlic sauce).

Other food is well made and delicious, but can be pricey. Service is excellent. Limited seating indoors, lovely pleasant outdoor seating.

I had the chocolate milkshake it was awesome.

Personally I found it ‘ok ok’ place. Food quantity and quality both can be improved. Ambience is fine. 5 mins walk away from station and hardly a minute away from highway. Good to catchup for a coffee. Non AC section is quite loud since it’s near main roads. They add service charge in your bill, however they will remove it if you insist.

New favourite cafe in town. Beautiful interior and equally complementary food, in an ambience worthy of your time. You can choose any dish from the menu. Saying this from my experience having tried what masses liked here to the ones I picked randomly. Must try hot chocolate and I'll pick basil and watermelon drink as well. For food, rajma chawal and butter chicken anyday to Pizza to satiate your moody cravings.

Love the Italian Hot Chocolate. MudCake and Hot Chocolate are my favourite. Everything else which I tasted here was wonderful. The staff is very good and cooperative.

This place located in dadar east very near to railway station. Ambience is very warm and cozy. Silent music. Very good place to go on date and go with girl friend. We had chicken mexican pizza - thin crust and spicy taste of jalapeño and cheese garlic bread-very cheesy with tomato sauce. To avoid last minute rush reserving a table is recommended.

I visited last month. The hot Chocolate was wonderful. I tried the burger too, I didn't like it.

Yesterday 23rd Nov 2018 was a huge for them so they thought to keep offer for all.but that was not completed successfully because there was NO MILK IN CAFE.idk HOW but manager told me but i was seeing they wer serving milkshakes.and 1st i sent my frd to check abt offer at evening around 7pm they told them U HAV TO PURCHASE ANY 4 DISHES THEN THAT OFFER IS VALID.and the offer was clearly mentioned that milkshakes for 3rs only and not anything.
End of the day.i just wanted to tell is that dont give any kind of offers if u cant complete it.
And please DONT FOOL PEOPLE!

The ambience is just amazing. Also the food served is delicious. Orders are served quickly and the items in the menu are just amazing. Loved it.

The chicken ceaser salad was absolutely scrumptious. Their paneer tikka pizza is a must try, the great thing about their pizza is the thin crust. And what can I say about their Rajma Chawal it's pure indulgence! All the items on their Grandmama's Special menu are truly special & a must try!

The place looks too stylish and modern. But that couldn't be seen on the plate.

I had ordered a 4 cheese pizza which was too dry, over cooked and cheese had a foul smell.

I won't recommend this place for dining if you love pizza.

Terrible customer service. An offer running on milkshakes throughout the day meant lack of seating for paying customers. It also meant lack of service for paying customers. Took 30mins to get a coffee even after asking four times. Truly awful.

Grandmama's never disappoint you. Cute little cafe with good food and cold drinks is perfect for a date. The staff is quick at service and cost wise it's economical. The location is plus one, near to the station as well as the highway.

The ambience and service is good, but the price is too high. They had their 3rd anniversary today on 23rd Nov 2018 for which they were serving MilkShakes at ₹3/-. I liked the idea of ₹3 milkshake for promotion. But i had really high hopes after seeing the photos and videos posted for this event. The place is very noisey. The food served is of my liking so I use earbuds and go there. I love the Ceasers Salad with chicken and bacon, chicken barley soup and the Shepherd s pie. Will try the sandwiches in future.

They need to do something about flies in their restaurant. I have been to two outlets and both had this problem.

Great ambience, good service. Don't expect them to serve you good indian tea. Just 2 min walk from Dadar central Railway station. Has both open and AC dining. One can enjoy leisure time with friends and family.

I tried the big mouth vegie sandwich over there and it was really very delicious crispy mouthwatering sandwich.the staff was also very helpful and the restaurant theme is something unique and very nice. Ambience is really very good!

Ambience is beautiful. Staff is hardworking. And the food is just amazing. Reasonable. Quantity is little but its perfect for 2 people.

Nice and a very ambient place which is more cozy post sunset. It is very close to Dadar station and Dadar TT. It is situated near the Pritam Hotel. Had ordered Hazelnut coffee and Affogato which were nice. Overall a good place.
