Hotel Aaswad Mulshi

The location of Hotel Aaswad offers lovely views of the valley, backwaters, and dam. The menus are standard, but they may take your phone orders and prepare the food according to your specifications. People frequently travel there for lunch because it is less expensive than the other hotels and resorts and is close to Maval Machi. The owner, Mr. Balasaheb, is modest and a talented artist; you can view several of his pencil works. Must go only to see the vista.

Location is very good but I had ordered chicken malvani which was not good at all no taste, waste of money.
If I am paying 300+ for food then I will hope for better food. Its obvious.

Writing this review before I leave this planet due to food poisoning. Horrible HORRIBLE service! Food is pathetic and caused stomach pain.
We ordered food for four people, three non veg and one veg. The veg order never came. We finished our meal and waited a while, we even reminded them three to four times and no response.
The chicken we ordered was catastrophically awful!
In the end, our vegetarian friend got out on an empty stomach, as the order never came and they didn't even bother asking about our missing order. They didn't even ask how the food was, as if they knew it was not worth feeding even stray dogs.
I wouldn't feed the food of this place even to my enemy. Stay away from this place!

The location was good around the hotel and even the ambience was very nice, eyes soothing but when it came to food it was very very pathetic, not worth it at all.

Worst food and service. We placed order and instructed order taker to make food less spicy and less oily but the food (Matar Paneer) was too much spicy and oily. We ordered dal tadka which was too much watery in consistency. Owner was also not in Condition to listen instead he was arguing and telling us this is the best hotel in Mulshi. I agree, ambience was good but food was absolutely pathetic.

We visited this restaurant being very hungry at 5pm. We did not find any place to eat in between from Lonavala to Mulshi. We saw the ambience and visited. But, I must say, it was not worth the money and effort. Very pathetic food. Inspite of requesting for simple non spicy and less oily food. They made what they wanted. Horrible service. Owner justs shouts from his hotseat and passes orders to unclean waiters. He is not bothered of the quality of the food served. Furthermore, after reporting this matter to him, he plainly refuses to accept any flaws in the food.

Instead of enquiring his waiters, he arrogantly asked aren't you paying the bill or not. And this was when I had already paid the bill.

In short a 'NO GO HOTEL' at all. Please go ahead for a km and you find better restaurants/hotels
