Hotel Meriton

Rooms are not at all what they show on the images. Smaller rooms, highly expensive for the room that they offer. Meals taste like they are made from rancid goods

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Meriton. Coming from the USA and this being my partner’s first time in India, it was very important to find a good hotel for our first stop in Mumbai. I spent over eight hours researching hundreds of hotels in the area, with most being too dirty, being scam hotels or having cockroaches. Hotel Meriton has none of these problems. The room was extremely clean and modern, and not a single insect at all during our six day stay. We kept extending our booking as we were so happy there. Very close to the metro station and the area is safe with lots of families, children and friendly locals around. Two huge malls, Phoenix Marketcity and R City, are only a short, cheap auto rickshaw ride away. Alam on the front desk was so professional and kind during our entire stay. Bedding was clean and AC worked very well. Much less stressful to stay in this part of Mumbai, rather than in Colaba with all its hustlers and beggars. Highly recommend this hotel to any domestic or international tourists.

This is excellent place for someone who is looking for clean and budget place to stay in this part of Mumbai.
My stay of three nights was made comfortable, thanks to Mr. Aalam and his staff.

Near to international airport in mubai but room size is very less and no hot water in the hotel.

Very small room. All the things r different from the pictures. No proper lights in the room

Excellent experience staying here.
I went with a group of 20 people and had an amazing stay. The rooms were neat and tidy with good amenities. Though, they could have been a bit spacy for extra bedding option.
The service was a 5 star with a very cooperative staff and management. We loved the ambience there and the freshness the rooms had daily (we had a three night stay). Proper cleaning was provided.
The food quality was good, though the quantity could have been better (we opted for breakfast while booking)
Also, the rates were reasonable. And, the location was perfect for us.

Totally misinterpreted
We had booked a 3 bed jumbo room via mmt
Obviously expected 3 people to fit in the room, but there was barely room for 2.
Also when asked the person in front was not ready to adjust whatsoever
He was busy selling the idea that we take another room
When we cancelled the booking, he did not refund a single penny.
Please just look for other hotels that are hardly within 100m which are way comfy and reasonable

The hotel and the hospitality at the hotel is pathetic. The rooms are misrepresented as the pictures are being taken in wide angle to look more spacious. The staff was rude and they don’t try to help however they directly ask us to check from where they have booked. The description mentioned as triple deluxe room is fake. Had the most bad experience. ; (
