Cant say it has the best view. But yes the view from the room is stunning.
This property is run by a small family and they are really very humble and friendly.
THE MUST THING TO DO:
Please dont have food anywhere outside
Insist them to prepare homemade food be it veg or non veg it is outstanding.
FOR VISITING POINTS
Vishal is the one who is a part of their family and who also looks after the cab service gives the best service and more deep knowledge about complete tour.
DRAWBACK:
Hot water is only available for 1 hour in the morning (7.30am to 8.30am)

Rest all is worth the visit.

This place is at arms length from the market. One gets both the benefit of being in the main location and also the view from the property or room is beautiful. Owners are themselves taking care of the property. I have not posted images, because the view is exactly the same as posted by owners. If required, they serve breakfast, tea and food as well, which is home cooked and delicious.

One has to get down at mahabaleshwar market, petrol pump stop. Call Owner and they will guide till hotel or they also come to receive at no extra cost. Good experience and cleanliness and hygienic place to stay.

Within 500 mtr from market. Hill view from some room. Well maintained facility. Kind staff and quick service.

Good Hotel for stay in Mahabaleshwar, Only improvement needed is availablity of hot water in the evening and up to 10 am in the morning as it was available at our time till 9 am only. Homemade food is good.

We had booked Deluxe family room with balcony for 3 nights.
The memorising thing is the best view from balcony. The room is spacious with clean washrooms. The owner and the women out there are so polite and helpfull. The hotel is in the walkable distance from the main market. Thank you Hotel Vighanaharta for the wonderful stay. This adds on into my memories list. I highly recommend this hotel if you are willing to have the perfect view.

It was very beautiful experience, Had visited last week. We had booked 2 rooms, out of which 1 was valley view room and was amazing.
Staffs were very polite and kind. Even breakfast what we ordered at this restaurant was delicious and price was low. Stay was very very iicomfortable.
Would love to stay here on next visit too.

The manager of the hotel is very humble and kind, the family stay in ground floor of building
They have luxurious room which is with balcony and great view they also have normal rooms

- This hotel is in the main mahabaleshwar market not in the middle but the end of it.
- The hotel is run by a very decent, good hearted and polite family.
- The family provided us with good quality food and snacks whenever asked upon.
- The family also helped us in getting cabs in very reasonable prices.
- Best way to book is to directly call them.
- The con I felt was the hot water timing which was 7.30 to 8.30 that too with not much hot water. When we visited the solar panels were broken by monkeys and the hot water was not available that much.
- Do book the rooms in B-wing if you want the nature view as shown in the pictures shared.

We had booked Deluxe Family Room with Balcony for 3nights. The Room is very spacious with clean washroom and This hotel is run by a very polite and decent family. Special thanx to all the womens there they all are so hardworking and they are housewives. Hotel is walkable distance frm Main Market n Room has a Great View of Mountains & Valley from Balcony
So I Highly recommend this hotel to stay thanks Hotel Vighnaharta for such a Wonderful place

They picked up us from Bus Stand where we got down. Hotel is near Main Market. We can see Mountains & Valley from Gallery. The Room was spacious.
On order, they provide Home made food from Kitchen of their family staying on ground floor. Food quality was Good.

Hot water is upto 8.30 in morning only after which they provide hot water in bucket on request.
The Hotel is run by family members. Service is Good. Overall Good & satisfactory experience.

While the reviews make justice to the place the rating is low for such an amazing place. We got rooms with the spectacular view of the mountains, the stay was comfortable and cozy. They provide home made Maharashtrian style food at very reasonable rates. If you want to be closer to the Main market, get a great view, have access to cabs for travelling and eat delicious food, then Hotel Vighanaharta is the place.

Con- Hot water has timings in morning, but one naturally gets up early because we have to go visit the scenic points.

It's a lovely place to stay the reason is there home food which is Awesome my specially thanx to all women out there they all are so hardworking specially I mentioned the name "Jyoti and Anjali" they are housewives who manage all the stuffs heads off them.

Food is good but uncle Nature is very very bad, and frude with coustermor so no book this hotel also compared same price good hotel in mahabaleshwar

Balcony view is very good.
Rooms is clean. Hotel staffs are very polite and treat as family.
For food owner cook so it's home made food, on demands. And most important they do food service from 7am -11pm so even tea they make and gave us in night 11pm.
Only one things they needs to improve hot water time needs to be available till at least 11am so that people those are coming just relax can get it.

Think 1000 times before booking this hotel online.
If rooms booked online, they provide accommodation on lower level, these rooms having having no ventilation and zero view. Smells like drainage system (gutters smells). No safety for guests.

You will regrets of booking this property. Scam and cheeting people.

Stay at this hotel and service is very excellent. They provide home made food which quality also excellent.

Room was Clean.
Location is 5 mins walk from the main market.
Freshly prepared home made meals are provided on order. Tea was nice, Veg Thali, egg omlet and poha was good too.
Sightseeing provided wherein Mr. Vishal also guides you with a few interesting facts and information about the places.
Balcony view was good, though was
expecting that to be better looking at the pictures.
One drawback was that Hot water was available only for one and a half hour in the morning, it could be provided for sometime in evening as well, as evenings here get chilly. Would like to mention that they did provided a bucket of hot water in the evening for my child on request during our stay.
Bathroom was clean, no shower was available though.
Sofa for the third or fourth persons could have had a fan on ceiling area as non AC occupants would need the same.
Overall a fine option for budget stays.

5-10 mins walkable distance from Main market. Rooms were too small. And 'No Balcony room' means it has no window also. So it was very suffocating. If you are staying for more than 1 day, no room service would be provided. You will have to use same towel for 3 days. Water was also not provided in rooms. Owner is good with you only when you will take cab service and food service from them.

Good only if you are looking for low budget hotel.congested and no sunlight view from window.scinery view is only for balcony attached room. Situated very near to mahabaleshwar main market. They provide taxi service for mahabaleshwar tourism. They provide homemade meal on prior order.

Good place. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathroom is clean. I heard the other wing of building has valley view from balcony which is cool. So by increasing your budget you may enjoy your stay more. Also people managing hotel are also very polite and humble. They are always reachable. They may also help you with the cabs availability if needed.

But I am not able to rate this place more than 3 star because of following few reasons.

1. I felt my room little unsafe. There was no latch to the door, neither tower bolt was there. Only aldrop was there.

2. Room has big size window with complete transparent pane. I was staying at ground level and all outside world could have inside view of my room (Please see photos attached).

3. No shower present in bathroom. Hot water was available only for one to one and half hours.

4. Though it is near to main market, it's too much outside. Hotel surroundings doesn't feel that great.

5. TV in room had no recharge pack active (Though it doesn't matter a lot, people love music when come back tired to the hotel place).

6. It's outside and no food options present. This can be hectic for some tourists.

They provide home made food at very reasonable price.
Owner is very cool person.
They also provide cab for exploring places.
Overall very good experience.

The hotel is located centrally in the market and if you have your own transport at your disposal for sightseeing, this place would be ideal.

This is best place to stay in Mahableshwar at affordable price. First thing I liked is that they allot rooms as per description given on the booking websites. I booked valley view room and it was truly amazing feeling when you look outside from room. You get feel of staying in mahabaleshwar with wonderful valley view. Sunrise view from room is the best thing to start your day. Also a cool and calm place to stay. Spacious and well maintained rooms with kind and cooperative owner always available to oblidge your requests. They provided hot water on demand and provided home made breakfast with good quality. Had enough parking space to park vehicles. I will always recommend this hotel for my near and dear ones and looking forward to stay again.

People managing it are quite polite and humble attitude. The place is good. Room was spacious but there was some weird smell coming from bathroom.

There is no dedicated parking but some place available.
The hotel is a bit inside, near the market area but provides great view from balcony. You can actually see both sunset and sunrise from here.

They provide tea and basic breakfast at reasonable rates and taste is also too good.
